I love TJ Maxx, I always find something new when I browse for things....clothing, home decor, specialty foods or health and beauty. Their lotions, soaps and health and beauty products work as well as many others that cost 2x or 3x as much. I have always been happy shopping at TJ Maxx. This store is big in comparison to others and all the departments are nicely labelled, so it's easy to get around. Good shopping experience. read more

Been here several times. Selection is great, store is huge. The older employees seem to be personable and helpful, the teenagers not so much. No matter who is on the register, there always seems to be 15 people in line. Because of the long line with no teenager in sight with a sense of urgency, I went to the front just to ask if they could hold my items for me to purchase the following day as I couldn't wait any longer. They stated no, and I've had mixed experiences with this policy. Having the store credit card at any TJ Maxx or Marshalls location never seems to do anything for you to incentivize them to actually care or do anything. Will be losing my business. read more

One of the best TJ MAXX's I've been to in a while. Not only did they have an awesome array of clothing, jewelry, toys, and homegoods but they had products I've never seen in any Other tj maxx and I'm basically a maxinista. I was able to find Rare Jordan sneakers here that would have cost me $250 at the mall- I paid a fraction of the price here. I also saw so many amazing things I wish I had started my Christmas shopping there- rather then finished it there. The staff was GREAT! Nothing like the stuck up cashiers in the Rhode Island stores who act like you owe them when paying/cashing out. Makes me never want to return to the RI locations but this is not close enough for me to go to weekly; so unfortunately I will have to return. The cashier was incredibly sweet and helpful. I had a question about marks on a make-up bag and she discussed it with a manager who immediately reduced the price! Doesn't get much easier then that! Overall I will definitely be back when I have more time. read more

I was in the shopping plaza for a trip to Target, so I figured I would see what this TJ Maxx/Homegoods location was all about since I could use some new wine glasses. I never did find the wine glasses aside from the random single ones thrown on a clearance shelf. The emphasis seemed to be towards enormous area rugs and larger furniture; I guess in the area, people live in homes vs. small apartments so this may be a better store to send all of these things to, but we still need the basics! Did a short stroll through the clothing area, found a pair of capris for my upcoming workout regime (or if that fails, I'll just wear them shopping), but never purchased since the check-out line was long and painfully slow. This seems to be a common thing among stores.... not sure if they don't have enough people working at busy times, or maybe they just need to speed up the transactions. However, if people are deciding NOT to buy, they need to look at how slow the lines are!! read more

Intrigued by this unusual concept of a TJ Maxx and a Home Goods in the same store, I ventured a bit out of my normal shopping area for a look-see. This place is BIG- maybe it is just due to the two stores being together, but I could spend a lot of time in this place. I found the Home Goods seemed to have a bit better selection of things. The TJ Maxx selections were more standard. Yes, they have bags, jewelry, hoisery, clothes, but nothing really stood out as particularly exceptional. My main complaint with this place is that they really need to get rid of the CARTS! They have these huge shopping carts unlike the smaller carts in some of the more suburban TJ Maxx and Marshall's location. Granted, I was here right before Christmas and it was a bit insane, but seriously, do people really need such gigantic carts? They clog up the aisles and make it harder to move around the store. read more

Homegirl and Mariah Carey are two divas in a Dooney (&Bourke, baby). However there is one major difference between us two icons... while Ms. Carey doesn't "care about the presents underneath the Christmas tree", there better be a Fed Ex HQ amount of boxes underneath Homegirls' pine boughs. She's worth all the coin. Now Homegirl be checking her PO Box and finding nothing but sample sized shenanigans these days. Her admirers and advertisers have been on the cheap! Homegirl can't live a life of deprivation so she chooses to be her own sponsor and treat herself. Homegirl is a frequent visitor of all TJX, Marshall's And Homegoods etc. After all, what Homegirl do you think inspired the name "Homegoods"? She just doesn't stop inspiring the blind and broken-hearted of the world. Homegirl is Homegood. Anywho, Homegirl loves this location. We get a combined store featuring both clothing and accessories with a full home furnishing store as well. Homegirl finds that this location offers much variety as opposed to others of similar style. She's also copped some real fine steak here. Designer bags, high end pots and pans, Homegirl is taking these deals medium rare!She doesn't have luck every trip, but a lot of the time she's throwing some garlic butter on her T-bone and calling it a beautiful day. read more

My favorite TJ maxx in the area. There's always a great selection of items and they get a decent amount of high end items despite not being a runway store. If you are here around yellow tag clearance season, this is a must stop. I have found countless amazing finds here. This is definitely my favorite go to spot near home. Having the home goods is an added bonus. The staff is always polite and courteous and the store is very clean. read more

Ok so this TJ Max/Homegoods is great! It's huge. So many things to choose from we didn't know what to look at first. Everything from cloths, shoes, artwork, to a giant 11 foot giraffe and a 9 foot Bigfoot...yes I said Bigfoot (pictures to follow). The staff here is friendly, everyone who passed by said hello and asked us if we needed help finding something. We of course spent way more money and bought way more than we originally had intended on. Great store! read more

This store is like a mecca for all those who wander and want to spend all of their money. And I am perfectly okay with being in that group. In over three years, I have walked through the TJ Maxx half of the store only one time because my gravitational pull to the Homegoods side is just too strong to deny. I probably couldn't even list all of the items I have purchased from this specific location over the years. Their selection is huge and it is constantly being updated. Specific points for an incredibly large lamp, rug, and larger furniture selection. They also have a pretty big wall art area with pieces of all sizes. Solid kitchen and bathroom areas too, and of course they have a few aisles dedicated to seasonal decor. Lots of different decor styles are represented in their merchandise. Traditional, country, global-inspired, modern, kid-friendly... What I am saying is, if you are in need of something (anything!) for your home, HG has your hook up! read more

The manager Michelle Allery and her team of associated mislabeled a blanket that was 19.99 for 50$ and would not reconcile the difference when I brought back the receipt and blanket. She was dismissive, unpleasant and was not taking responsibility for her mistake. I will not be shopping at TJ anymore and canceling my TJX card. I recommend everyone do this as this is the second time this has happened. Associated do not diligently find the original tag and decide to make up a new tag and new price to slap on an item when they can't find the original tag tucked in the item. read more

I never know where to begin when I enter this store. This location is a Homegoods and TJ Maxx combination store. They have everything from clothing to furniture. I typically always burn a hole in my wallet when I shop here, but it's the good kind of empty wallet feeling- when you feel as though you have successfully made the most out of your money. The prices are decent and you can usually find a deal on whatever home item you are shopping for. read more

This was the first TJ Maxx/Homegoods combination store that I'd ever been to and I was immediately in love. My mother, aunt and I could've spent all day here. Ended up finding some good work out gear, comfy sweats, a huge make-up pallet, hair products and more. The help isn't exactly the best; I think that falls in line with most TJ Maxx stores, but I overlooked that fact based on the amount of product available for shopping. read more

This TJ Maxx & HomeGoods has improved from the past. It used to have really poor selections in each department due to the small size of the stores. Now, the selections are average, but really not too many treasures. I find it interesting no one else here on Yelp has mentioned how much different this TJ Maxx / HomeGoods differs from the other nearby combo store of TJ Maxx and HomeGoods in Milford! Maybe the others just haven't experienced the exceptional values and size that store has to offer! TJ Maxx is basically the same here as it is there, but the Home Goods in Milford is at least triple the size and has many more departments, with a much more vast area and better service (the main difference). My major question is that, why is there only ONE checkout area? The other combo store has both a TJ Maxx checkout and a HomeGoods checkout, definitely preferred by me (as the lines here get pretty hefty!). Another Yelper mentioned the carts. Yes, they are huge. and Yes, they should be done away with and add the normal TJ Maxx shopping carts provided at the other stores. The one and only thing regarding carts and this TJ / HomeGoods location is the cart parking! Need to leave your cart for a minute? There is cart parking by the fitting rooms (what a joke!). Anyway, the employees are friendly and somewhat often to find throughout the store (Yet, be careful. During my experience today, it seems the employees working on the TJ side ONLY know where things are over there and employees in HG ONLY know where things are over there. UGH). Ok store, but the other TJ Maxx / HomeGoods combo blows the socks of this location, and even the Marshalls / HomeGoods combo is better.
