I really like their work. I only go here for my eyebrows because they never mess them up. I HATE going somewhere for eyebrows and they mess up my arch. Today my 2 daughters and I came for a little girl time. 2 of us got pedis, they both got manis, and I got the brows cleaned up. I did gel french tips which is literally twice as much, but they last me forever without chipping or yellowing and I'm a fan of sandals and wedges everyday during summer so I need some durability. After moving from California to Kansas a few months ago, I've been having issues trying to find a nail salon that I liked. When I first walked in to TJ Nails, I could tell it was kind of run down, as far as any decor goes. The chairs were beaten up and the desks dirty. However, I was able to get in for a full set of pink and white acrylics right away. I believe Kim was the name of lady who did my nails. I can actually say I'm 100% satisfied and may have found my "go-to" salon. I also had my daughters nails painted while she waited for me. I also had her paint a hello kitty on her thumb. The art work wasn't the best, but you can't beat $5. My set was $50, including gel top coat. They do charge $1 to use debit/credit, but that's pretty common with most salons. I spent $65 for both services, cc fee, and tip. read more

The pictures speak for them-self. How do you miss this? How? I feel as the client I shouldn't have to ask for you to take the polish OFF MY SKIN! I am not from the area at all, and this is NOT what I'm use too. All I got was a pedicure. My service was very wack. Below average. Poor. Horrible. I was not happy. The "massage" part of the service felt like she was literally wiping lotion on my leg. No type of pressure or skill involved. I would NEVER recommend coming here. No! Go to the one across the street. The acrylic was super super thin on 8 of my nails, and normal on 2 of them. I broke my thumb nail the very next morning turning the door knob to my closet. They would not stop aggravating me about gel nails. Once is enough. Holy crap. Then she cut my toe, and added insult to injury by using acetone on it to correct a mistake. Holy crap that burned. Took my DIL here for her bday. Was her 1st time here, my 1st for a pedi. My pedi was better than my DIL'S. I was so embarrassed suggesting this place! Her pedi actually looked way better when she walked in than when she walked out, and hers was a 2 weeks old home DIY pedi. Never will I suggest this place and definitely wouldn't use it for anything except a brow wax if I'm desperate because can't get into my normal place across the street at Nail Tech which is only thing I have ever had done here previously.
