Well got a car from them a Lexus 2003, 181 thousand plus miles and price was about $7 k. Payments were $254 a month. Had the car for only 4 months and the engine light started flashing, it normally stayed on solid, knocking noise under the hood, sputters like it wanted to die. I called them and told them and even sent a video of the noise and asked since it's only been 4 months, I hadn't even driven a 1,000 miles on it if I could bring that one back And switch out. I was told it was up to the owner. Well I have been trying to get a hold of TK the owner since April 29th 2026. And it's always he's not here, I'll have him call you.NEVER HAVE HEARD FROM HIM TO TJIS DAY. Yes I understand As Is but I have bought many cars from lots and they have lasted 4-8 years, I'm on SSI, I have mobility issues and it took me a year to save for down payment, Every person I talked to on the phone has told TK I've called but he refused to call me back. They are very unprofessional and not helpful at all. I noticed that a lot of the time the lower ratings are females and they don't help at all. They came and got the car after days of me trying to get some help. I saw other reviews from men where they got a different vehicle after something happened within 3-4 months of having it but I got no help, no acknowledgment of me calling daily for almost 2 weeks just wanting to talk to TK and he told his employees I don't want to talk to her just keep telling her I'll call her back and he never does. Do not buy or work for this company, the owners are rude and disrespectful, and will not give you your paycheck. Even though I filled out a W-4 and an I-9, the owner denies that I even worked there. I tried for a week to arrange to pick up my paycheck with no answer, when I sent a text to the owner saying I will get legal representation if I don't receive a phone call about when I can pick up my check, he immediately called me and and started calling me all different kinds of names and acted very unprofessional. Do not be fooled by his "kindness" or "friendliness" because it is all lie. If you are not careful or pay attention, he will rob you blind. Ask for the vehicles, I would never buy anything from them and I used to work there. Most of the vehicles there have issues that they try to cover up. I looked at several vehicles While I was working there and most of them had issues or check engine lights. Now I understand it is a used car lot but, it my entire experience in Auto Sales, whether it was used or new, should not be in that condition to sell to the public, I did not quit because of an incident or falling out I quit because I could not consciously or on good faith sell vehicles to the public when the vehicles are in poor condition. 2 days after I bought my Acura MDX the check emission light came on. I took it into the shop and it turns out it was my catalytic converter and all the codes had been cleared to obviously fool whoever purchased this vehicle. I also asked them to check the oil when I took it in and it was in need of an oil change, however the dash indicated I had 100% oil life, which confirms the clearing of the codes to make everything look good. So I went there, when I pulled up, they already had all the entrances blocked with cars and were closed. I had literally just spoke with them 20 mins prior to test drive/ buy a car. Just bought a car from TK Auto on Sunday. Extremely tempted to go back in and unwind the deal today. Was pressured to look at cars I didn't want to, told I had to stay & sign a deal on a car I didn't want when I wanted to go home and rest because it was 98° out. Lied to about my interest on my loan from the credit union. When I got approved they said, you got a great rate at 6%! Then when it came to sign my loan it jumped to 16.99%! My payments went up by more than $50 than I wanted, my down payment went up more than $200 than I can really afford. I feel they completely took advantage of me, 100% because I was a single elderly woman who was alone. After I signed all of my paperwork they just walked off and said the key is in the car. No thank you, didn't shake my hand, nothing. I couldn't believe it. Left me with a pile of papers to fold up myself and put in an envelope. What a joke. Took it to the Chevy dealership and found out that they knew the car had issues prior and they didn't disclose that to me. I also don't have my registration, title or plates 3 months later. Called the DOL on 1/19/22 because my temporary plate expired on Christmas. I paid for licensing and found out they never did any of the paperwork, my temporary plate was illegally put on the car and never registered either. They also lied about the odometer by 7000 miles. I have a pending court case and also a pending fraud case with the dol against them. read more

Like many reviews for this company, I wish there was a Zero Star rating. I bought a PT Cruiser back in Feb. 2021, claiming all it needed was a new battery. They textbook lied and took advantage of me and my inexperience buying cars. The cruiser they sold me started randomly stalling out only a month after purchase, I hadn't even made my first monthly payment on it. I tried everything to get it fixed, and no one could figure out what was wrong with it. I asked twice to roll over the loan into a new, working vehicle. The first time I was told that it wasn't possible. Second time, they had me fill out paperwork, email them my paystubs, and then never got back to me. My car is still non functioning and unsafe to drive. I was unfortunately stuck with a two ton paperweight that costs me $300 a month. And then Yesterday happened. I decided that Enough was Enough, and I went to the Autonation in Spokane Valley to discuss my options, and potentially trade in my cruiser for a functioning car. Not only did the person who answered the sales rep who called them about my loan scream at him and fight with him about giving the loan information, the sales rep found out that they had straight up lied to me back in February. I went to them because I had no credit history as a 20 y/o who had just moved to town. They told me that going through them would help with my credit score, and in 6 months, I would be able to trade in for a better car. Well, its been 5-6 on time payments and I still have zero credit history. They never reported my loan for this vehicle, and never reported my payments, so now I am yet again stuck unable to afford a hefty down payment due to zero credit history. Well it seems like I am absolutely not the only one who purchased an unsafe, unreliable vehicle from TK, so I don't feel so stupid now. Here goes me nightmare of an experience with not only TK as a whole, but specifically Gary. I purchased a 2006 Highlander hybrid from TK in March. I should have known from the get go that this was a mistake. The salesman I worked with had absolutely no idea about anything regarding the vehicle. After taking it for a test drive, I decided to purchase the car. Being a single mother of two young boys (who were with me at the time), financing went rather fast so I could get out of there. I also purchased the extended warranty for $2500. A few days after driving off the lot, Gary calls and tells me that they have to drop the warranty on the vehicle due to financing issues, umm I think not. He worked it out so I was able to keep the warranty. Come end of June, while driving down the road, the thing just dies. No power, nothing. I had it towed to the Toyota dealership, where they diagnosed it as the main fuse and the main wiring harness that needed to be replaced. Oh and the good part? The warranty doesn't cover it. I called TK and they picked the car up from Toyota to have it taken to "a shop" to have the repairs done. The following day, I picked up my "running, fixed, and reliable $11k car". Fast forward to beginning September.. once again driving down the road, I get a check hybrid system light. Had it towed to Toyota (where it still sits, September 30th). Toyota says the main wiring harness needs replaced (WHAT?! AGAIN?!), the hybrid battery is shot, and possibly the inverter is going out. It will be an awesome $10k to FIX it. WHAT?! The car isn't even worth what I owe, so what do I do? Call warranty, get this, NOT COVERED. Why did I purchase this $2500 warranty for, if it doesn't cover the damn thing when it breaks? And why wasn't that explained to me? So I call TK again, Gary is mind blown that this is happening AGAIN. Okay, so he is going to work with financing and get me into something different. Well it's been more than three weeks, and here I am, single mother of two young boys, and no car, no luck, no money, and no help. I finally got Gary to get me in contact with the guy he had work on it the first time. The guy doesn't even work for a shop, just some Joe off the street. Who says he didn't replace the wiring harness, only the fuse (where he admitted that he CUT A HOLE in the fuse box to access the fuse). So TK, here's where it gets complicated and I'm sure can qualify under some sort of Lemon Law, you "repaired" my car, had me believing that I then had some sort of reliable and SAFE vehicle. I'm just lucky that nothing happened when I had my kids in the car. Can you imagine me driving down the freeway, thinking you had helped me, and it dying right then and there, causing an accident? Thanks. I guess at the end of the day, you grotesquely took advantage of a vulnerable and young single mother. I am less than pleased with my experience to say the least. Worst bunch of crooks in Spokane. They fraudulently repossessed my fiancé's vehicle and when asked to provide documentation and payment stubs, as they falsely claimed he hadn't made payments in the last 9 months, they responded with "their system was down" yet they had no problem taking hundreds of dollars for him to get his car back. They claimed it was his responsibility to keep track of all payments and they refused to provide him a payoff balance for the past three months. They have refused to produce anything in writing supporting their claims and have continuously made excuses as to why they could not provide any written documentation. Luckily, we have everything logged and in writing and will be reporting these thieves to the state. These people need to be put out of business. read more

We called two days ahead to schedule a test drive with a Dodge Caravan they had listed on their website. I confirmed the location of the test drive on the phone call as well. On the day of the test drive, we showed up to the Sprague location only to be told that the car was not at that location as we had been told. After some phone calls made by the salesman, they said the car was at their Market location because they couldn't find the key. They sent us to the Market location saying we could take a test drive there. Upon arriving at the Market location the salesman got everything ready for us to test drive the va. and it wouldn't start. It was covered in dust, and not even positioned for us to look at either. After attempting a jumpstart twice, the van ran (although needed to be hooked up to a power source because he said the alternator was bad). The salesman also said he would give us gas money since the van was very low on fuel. The first impression we had with this auto dealer left us a very skeptical about buying a car from them. read more

I called them as it had been less than a month and told them to take it back. told them where it was. they said they'd pick it up. they waited 4 days to pick it up and the apartments had it towed. they decided to just leave it there in impound. I called and spoke with mike and Craig, who by the way were difficult to get ahold of. and was told that they didn't sell me a lemon (they absolutely did) and that they aren't liable. what kind of men screw over a single mom in a bad situation? and then don't do a damn thing to make it right? very disappointed in this establishment and the "men" who run it. read more

Terrible auto dealer! The place was sketchy as hell, which should have sent us on our way, but I was in desperate need of a car and on a time crunch as we were heading out of town to go home. I had asked ahead of time if it was in good condition or needed any repairs. They said it didn't need anything done and in good condition. When we checked it out it needed a lot of repairs. They couldn't even get it to start. Thought maybe it had just been sitting but after an hour we Finally got it to run enough to get it home. Said they'd cover it if we needed a new battery. It did. We covered the cost ourselves, hoping that was all. It wasn't (see below). They made us feel like criminals for lowering the asking price, Not only by a salesmen working there, but then reiterated by the manager during the signing process. Not "you're getting a good deal" but " you're ripping us off" feel. Well, we were the ones to be ripped off. I took it to my mechanic after we got home and things started breaking down. He said it was junk and shouldn't have paid more than $1000 for it. We paid a lot more than that...and we are the ones that are criminals?? Things were zip-tied together, short-belted which caused the compressor to break and air conditioning to fail, transmission fluid was leaking all over, etc.. This is not a "good condition and not in need of repairs" vehicle. I tried contacting them via email, Facebook, etc. No response. We called for a couple weeks I don't know how many times, saying they would call us back. No response. Finally after pleading with several people, the "manager" said they don't inspect their vehicles. They make sure they "Drive" (as in can make a circle in the parking lot??) and he didn't even know what short-belting was. How can they sell cars and not know anything about them? Didn't back up their claims to "take care of us after the sale" like we were told several times from the salesman. Who doesn't inspect their cars they sell for thousands of dollars? Especially when I asked ahead of time?? Liars. Don't trust them. Don't give them your business. They got several thousands out of us, and now we have to pay several thousands more to fix it. I've had, by far, the worst experience at TK Auto. They sold me a piece of shit. First of all, the stereo wasn't working. He said "oh I probably just don't know how to work it." Come to find out later that the amp and stereo are completely out. Secondly, they said they replaced the transmission and everything was in working order and after driving the car for about a month the transmission started going out. I called and they accused me of lying saying "we don't work on transmissions so why would we tell you that?" and then told me I wasn't making my car payments, which I have proof of because the clearly take it out of my bank account EVERY MONTH. They have sold cars to customers with blown head gaskets, one car had so many issues from bumper to bumper it may as well have been junked. They make them look good and have no concern if the vehicles will even be safe for the passengers. I read these reviews for TK and decided maybe my experience would help someone else. I have bought 3 cars from them since 2015. My first car was $4000. I put about half down and they did run my credit and gave me the option to have it financed through a finance company. My credit was questionable so my interest was high. I drove the car for a year and decided to trade it up for a much newer and more expensive car. $17000.00. Because I had paid on time with this finance company I was approved again and the interest was lowered. Also TK adviced me that I should pay on this vehicle through the finance co and then try and get it refinanced through a credit union in a few months. They were pretty positive I would be able to do that. I waited several months and then did just that. Because my payment history had been good and I was 2 yrs into steady payments with this finance co the credit union refinanced the vehicle and I now have a great interest rate. I then went to the lot and wanted another car that they had It was $10000.00 I did that one in house because I was going to be able to pay it off in 90 days. All these vehicles were used. They made no promises but were as honest as I felt you could get. Maybe I was just lucky with the 3 I got but I have never had any big surprises with any of the cars. My experience was positive and I would recommend this company to my friends. If your credit is not stellar they work with you to help you build a relationship with them. I bought a car from TK Auto back in April. My old car crapped out and I had one day to find something else. After going to a couple of used car places and not finding what I wanted, I went to TK Auto because I saw a huge selection of cars that seemed to be in my price range. Unfortunately for me, I did not read the reviews online before purchasing a car from them. This was my first time buying a car and I was taken...pretty badly. They took fat advantage of me being a first time car buyer and a young female. I took a few for a test drive and found the one I wanted. I was given a VERY high interest rate and did not know that it was "no warranty, as is" until they were throwing papers at me to sign. I noticed the "check engine" light was on and asked the sales guy about it. "Oh, it's probably just an O2 sensor". I had no reason to not believe this guy at that point. Sale finalized, took the car home, was originally very happy with my purchase. Within the first week of owning this car, the battery died, the AC did not work, and it appeared as though the rear defrost did not work. I called TK Auto and they offered to take it in to diagnose it and fix what they could. They kept it overnight and when I picked it up, I did not have to pay for anything they did but they told me "we replaced the battery and fixed the AC". A couple days ago, my car would not start all of a sudden. I took it to O Reilly's to have the battery checked after getting a jump start and was told that the battery was fully charged but it appeared as though it had been leaking or that something else was wrong with it. Looks like TK Auto charged my battery and said they replaced it. Had no idea that it was a bad battery from the get go. After purchasing the car, I went to Les Schwab to have the air in my tires checked. Came to find out that they were weather cracked and worn and that I needed new tires. Dropped $500 on new tires for my new car. I have a friend that works for VW as a mechanic...took the car to her to have it diagnosed and to have her look at it (300 miles away). She tells me that I need a new CAT (part of the catalytic converter) which costs more than my car is really worth to replace and that my windshield wiper fluid hose is broken in about 3 places (looked like TK Auto had tried to band-aid the problem and just taped the hose back together instead of REPLACING it). The computer tells her that my rear defrost does not work, one of the two fans in my engine does not work, my door latches/locks do not work properly (there is a LOT of tape around the door hinges), and that chances are pretty good that my car will not pass emissions when I need to get my tabs renewed next year. Just recently, I went to CarMax to have my car appraised because I'm tired of this money pit of a car. They appraise it for $1500 (I paid $6700, including taxes and fees) and I am shown a bit of the history from the car. The car did not pass emissions back in 2013 and probably has not been able to pass emissions since. It appears as though TK Auto bought my current car from an auction and made a rather large profit on it. This car is a piece of crap. They are scammers. I will never be buying a car from them again and I will heavily recommend to anyone that they not buy a car from TK Auto. You will most likely get screwed over from buying a lemon. i purchased a car here. i had nothing but trouble since the day i got the car. the salesman said it was a great running car, assuming he meant when the original owner bought it. i paid $7,000 for a car that sits in my driveway. once i got the car off the lot i was alone with my problems. it has a bad transfer case,blown head gasket, i had to replace ignition cam censors and now it sits cuz ill need to put mor into it than i owe .they refuse to fix what was added on to the contract also. those of you that are in the same boat as me, take my advice and get a lawyer. they will help look for ways to help you. also get ahold of the attorney general. these people are theives!!! im not sure how they sleep at knight knowing they rip money straight out of your hands read more
