What I am super pissed about is the fact that they handed me the point of sale machine that had the tip option. I chose 20% which was $12 something (I dont remember the cents amount) because the woman did a decent job. The pedicure was around between 60 & 65 based on the tip amount...they never showed me the total. I just noticed they charged my card $80. Which is around $4-6 more than it should've been. Yes it's my bad for not asking for a receipt and it's not THAT much money but if they are doing this regularly to customers, imagine the profit. I am contesting with my CC company. I wish I would've looked at these reviews before going here. I don't live in Marysville and won't be going back to this place.

I decided to try this salon after reading a review elsewhere that compared it to Penzone's and Kenneth's. They were certainly right about the prices being similar - my basic cut was $38 - but the service didn't come close. I had an appointment scheduled at 10 a.m., arrived several minutes before, and was called back right on time. The cut was fine - though I didn't enjoy that the stylist smelled strongly of cigarette smoke - but if i'm paying well over $40 after tip for a haircut, I expect more than a cut. I actually expect that my hair will be styled. My first clue that the experience would not be what I expected was when the stylist asked if I wanted my hair dried. Uhhhh - of course I want my hair dried. First of all, it was January, and second of all ????? Isn't a style part of the cost of the haircut at that price? I thought they only asked questions like that at the Walmart salon. Then at 10:25, the reception came back and told the stylist her next appointment was there. I didn't care that the next appointment arrived so early, but didn't think it was necessary for reception to interrupt my appointment to say so. At that point, she had dried my hair and only styled the hair that framed my face, so I thought I still had a good 15 minutes left in the appointment because the entire back was completely untouched. The stylist stopped and asked what I thought. This was the first time a stylist didn't hand me a mirror so I could see the back. Maybe because she knew the back looked like a haystack. I picked up a random side piece that not been styled and said, "It's OK - but you are going to finish this, right?" "Yes, yes," she said. Then she proceeded to take just that one piece and straighten and style it, leaving the rest. After that, she took off the cape and sent me to the reception desk, even though it was clear I wasn't remotely close to done. Apparently my appointment really was only booked for half an hour. In a nutshell: My cut was fine. After getting home and spending the extra 10 minutes doing some styling, I was quite happy with it. But I paid $45 after tip for an experience I could have had at Great Clips. If you pay upscale salon prices, you expect upscale salon service. I have never had a cut and style at Kenneth's last less than 45 minutes. I was loyal to my last salon for 15 years, and have been looking for someone to give my business to. Typically, you get a stylist's best service and work on your first appointment. That's why I have no plans to return.
