5.14.22 I discovered this restaurant from seeing a fellow yelpie's review. I love Korean fried chicken so wanted to give it a try with my husband. Upon entering the restaurant it was a bit confusing. It shares the same space as Kung Fu Tea and you place your order in the same line. Process: Step 1: Pick an Entree Step 2: Pick a side Step 3: Add a drink (+$2 for Classic Series, +$3 for Milk Tea or Punch, +$4 for Milk Strike or Slush) Food: I ordered the Kwa Kwa Bao + Chicken Combo. Kwa Kwa Bao is sticky rice, shiitake mushrooms, and pork wrapped in crispy chicken skin. It was interesting. The chicken was average. Nothing special about it, but it was piping hot and super moist. I got the Sweet Potato Fries as my side at the cashier's recommendation and it did not disappoint. My husband ordered chicken tenders with ranch sauce. He said it was good, piping hot, and super moist, but he still prefers BonChon as it's more flavorful. Service: He thought the cashier who took our order seemed unenthusiastic and wasn't giving off good vibes. Their was a Latino woman who he said was friendlier when he went up to ask for a cup of water and an additional sauce ($.25 each). Misc: My husband got the impression that they don't want patrons to dine inside as they don't provide tableware. We had to ask for ketchup and plastic utensils as they was not provided with our order. Final thoughts: The food was good, but nothing noteworthy. FYI - as far as I've seen, they make food to order, so the wait time is pretty long. Food is worth it if you're not busy though! Been here twice so far, once for the chicken sandwich, and the other for the just the chicken. I got the spicy version for both times, which isn't really spicy - adds just enough flavor to make it a little interesting. The chicken is super juicy and flavorful, and definitely beats most chicken places that I've been to. The one thing that I wouldn't get is their kwa kwa bao - it's not bad, but definitely not worth what they're charging for it. Sides weren't anything special either, so I'd just skip them and get the chicken. read more

It travels well and is always delicious carry out at home. Dining in is also great. I order the soy garlic, original and the snow onion. All must haves to order. Really boring, mediocre chicken. The chicken drumstick was huge but lacked flavor and spice. The charred corn was definitely reheated and not flavorful. I liked tkk, cheese curds were a bit salty but I like them. Think mozzarella balls fried. Chicken tenders were a bit dry but good altho a bit spicy for original. Chicken sandwich was the best. Do NOT recommend! First of all, The TKK chicken is within Kung Fu Tea. They do not know how to take orders for TKK chicken. (KF tea Manager: please train your employees on how to communicate orders with a customer) Second of all, they try to take more money from you. I ordered the 6 piece TK combo which suppose to come with 2 sides and 2 biscuits and 1 discounted drink. When I got my order, I didn't see my 2 biscuits, so I asked about the order (and they didn't even bother give me a receipt up front) And now I saw they charged me separately for 6 chicken (I asked for all dark meat and at NO a point did the employee tell me that it is NOT going to be a combo), separately for 2 sides, and MORE money for the drink (which was suppose to be discounted at $3.00). Heard of a new fried chicken spot so I decided to give it a try, surprise to see it being attached to a bubba shop, but it totally makes sense. Cooling down your mouth while, eating hot juicy fried chicken. Speaking of which, their chicken is so juicy, I tried the breast and thigh to see which would be my go-to in the future. They are both amazingly juicy and delicious, and for once I feel like the breast piece of a fried chicken is actually more delicious than the thigh. If you can handle spiciness, I highly recommend their spicy crispy style, it is so addicting! If you're having doubt, then get yourself a refreshing cup of bubba to wash down the spice when it gets too hot. The original is super flavorful, and lower on carb since it's not breaded as heavily, but still super crispy and light. You really can't go wrong ordering from here. Avoid ordering online ahead of time. I ordered 1.5 hrs ahead and when I received my food, it was cold and soggy from the condensation. I also ordered drinks. The ice was melted, the boba was hard, and the drink was watered down. There was no word from the staff when I arrived to pick up my order. Very disappointed.
