Muy delicioso! Their portions are shareable and the seating area is cute. Everything came out fast and piping hot. The hardest decision was deciding what to order.

The special plate that came with four different tacos..it is a lot of food!

We had lunch at Tlacuaches and really enjoyed it. It is a casual food counter with outdoor seating nearby, but the food is very good. I had the Ahi Tacos and my husband had the plate that came with 4 different tacos. The tacos were very tasty and the portions were huge. We also received our food very quickly, so this would be a good option when you don't have a lot of time.

Tucked into the corner by the stairs at Eaton Square in Waikiki. Not visible from the street! Street tacos, Birria tacos, quesadillas, flautas, nachos, and burritos are on the menu. All made to order you can order online or go up to the window. The food is tasty and hearty! There are tables in the courtyard where you can sit under a tree and enjoy your yummy nibbles! It's hard to get away from the hordes of people in Waikiki... But you can actually have a nice quiet lunch here.... Street parking or paid parking at Villa on Eaton Square. Open daily from 11 AM to 7 PM and closed on Wednesdays.

Had some tacos from this unassuming window in a shopping center. It didn't seem like the kind of place that would be good. Tlacuaches808 was. A lot of choices from this small place. You can eat at one of the tables or get takeout. Cool that you can just order at a window, and take your stuff to any table and eat. It's kind of hard to find at first. This is located in the corner by a massage parlor. Has a few ways to order. It's about $18 to get the Free Style. Get your meal in any style of your choice. There's burritos, salads, and tacos. After this choose a protein. It can be meat or vegetables. After this choose a side. These include rice and beans, or whatever. Packs a lot into a container. They're generous with the big portions. Good place to look for. It's located in the Eaton Square Shopping Center on Hobron. There's a small menu but there's things for meat eaters and vegetarians.

Fish taco plate on menu board.

First time here. Asked if I could order a bean, rice & cheese burrito. Guy wanted to argue about how they do things their way. So I said ok if you won't order my burrito I'll order something else. He said he would do it for 18.95 $ no guacamole. OK. I the asked about fish tacos. He wouldn't tell me, instead reaching out his window past me to point out the sign describing the taco plate. I said I'll take one. He then dropped an order for a single taco. When I wanted the plate he rudely and emotionally pointed out. Disapointed is not the word. Offended is.

    Barria Taco and Carnitas plate

Tlacuaches 808 is the real deal. The service was next level amazing, our server basically treated us like royalty, throwing in extra bierria tacos, tortillas, and salsa for free. The food portions were massive, like "call a friend to help you finish" massive. Every bite was packed with flavor, and I left with leftovers that could feed a small village. If you want a place that makes you feel like you when stop by grandmas house for food, Tlacuaches 808 is your place!!!

Fabulous food! Huge amount of food and tastes amazing! Hidden in the back of Eaton Square Shopping Center, it is quite the find for authentic Mexican food.

Carnitas! More than ample. Two sauces!

Walk-up service with limited common seating outdoors on the Plaza. I ordered carnitas and a watermelon agua Fresca. So so good. Piled high with EVERYTHING: seasoned pork, beans, rice, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, jalapeños. I could barely make a dent in it. So full but wanted to keep eating and keep eating and keep eating. It was delicious. Also the guys cooking and serving it up were super cool. I immediately dropped my entire meal the first time he handed it over to me and they redid the whole thing in a flash. So generous. Thanks, guys! I know where to go to get some real grub the next time I'm on the island.

Holy moly delish!! This place was amazing. We got the ahi tacos and the Baja fish tacos. So much food for a great price!! Def don't skip.

I've been to so many and each and every one is very unique where you can find either fashion runway stage, live street art, or even a dance night in the barn. I just love the vibe SALT and surrounding Our Kaka'ako brings with the vibrant art we're so blessed to have and this particular night (November 19th) there was actually much more shopping just perfect for the holidays and the party went further down to Ya-ya's. Tonight I was fortunate to have gone after work so I kept it short but found some awesome treats. Some straw toppers to add to my holiday gift giving and some cheesecake cups (OG, Strawberry and Cookie Butter) of course I got one of each to share...ate the Strawberry which of course omg was yummy!! Not too sweet as the Strawberries was just perfect as I tried to get an even scoop of it all in every bite. Walked further down and honestly wasn't in the mood to wait too long for anything found something that would just exactly work for me. Ya-Ya's Chophouse & Seafood and tonight they had two items - Steak Kebabs - Fat Fried Rice with TAB (aka Thick Ass Bacon lol!) I seriously wanted the fried rice but thought that the Steak Kebabs was more sensible for me personally and it came with two kebabs each fully loaded with steak, mushrooms, peppers and onions with a huge scoop of rice! So many options I really was considering including Henna from Henna Happens, Birria Tacos from Dolce Vita, Corn from Corn Onoz Hawaii but though there's always a next time yes!?! I remember pre-pandemic Yelp had a booth here and hoping as things return to normalcy that we'll see it back again one day (hint hint!) Last week it tasted like it had fish sauce in it with spices and garlic, etc...tonight it literally tastes like bbq seasoning mixed with chipotle seasoning and chili onion. I'm not writing this review to bash this shrimp truck because I think they are very nice but more so as constructive criticism...to hopefully keep their recipe consistent. We decided to spend our "Black Friday" here, event started at 4:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m at Kakaako Park but we ended up showing up at 6:00 pm. We honestly didn't have that huge of an issue finding parking and the event wasn't that crowded, I'm sure it had a lot to do with everyone being at the parade or staying home the sl day after Thanksgiving. I highly recommend you show up early cause eating in the dark is kind of a pain so we had to shine the light on our phones to eat. I ordered my first food at "Mega Load Burger", they had choice of sliders and the infamous pineapple bowl with your choice of shrimp, pork, or kalbI. You can even choose fried rice or macaroni and cheese instead, even though it was dark and I couldn't see my food I really enjoyed the flavor of my garlic and rice, they had chunks of pineapple at bottom which made it a little difficult to eat with a plastic fork, but I appreciate they didn't waste it. My boyfriend ordered what we thought was an elote or Mexican corn from "The Corn Project" it was very good but the corn was so small, was a bit expensive for $6. We finally decided to get drinks at "ICE HNL" we saw they had bloodbath drinks on Instagram but were out so we ordered the smokin drink love potion instead, which was good made a instagrammable photo. I also checked "Eat The Streets" page and saw Postmate and Aokis shaved ice was giving away free shaved ice! I thought it was a awesome way to give everyone some nice free treats, make sure you tip! As we were leaving I of course saw a table of donuts laid out! Modo donuts was selling mochi donuts for $2 each and I had exactly $4 left so I asked for cookies and cream and my boyfriend got the matcha flavor. I've never had mochi donuts in my life and I'm so upset I didn't buy more! It was so chewy and delicious my boyfriend tried to steal mine and I had to swat him away! Most business accept card but they have an ATM in the park Incase.
