The tables have baby roaches roaming around the crevices of the picnic tables. *Edit: Owner kindly reached out saying they treat the area since it is an issue but understandable given the nature of Hawai'i being humid. I came here with my husband on a Saturday afternoon. Thankfully there was not a lot of people, I think we must have missed the lunch rush. We saw this fusion food truck and thought this was a really interesting concept. We opted for the three taco mix plate and got a thai tea horchata. The three taco plate came with chicken satay, crispy pork, and thai grilled beef. Unfortunately we couldn't eat most of this meal. Everything was overly salty and was honestly just not very well executed. The beef had an underlying seafood taste to it, and the chicken was a bit overcooked. The crispy pork was fine, but I really didn't think anything was too special about it. I think these dishes could be better balanced with a better sprinkle of lightness. While the tacos do have a little raw cabbage on the bottom, I think that's a sorry excuse for trying to elevate it to be fusion, then to top it all off with a spicy aioli really made the dish way too salty. The thai tea horchata.. wow 100000/10. I would come back just for this. Honestly one of the most unique and delicious things I've ever had. I loved the overall spice that you got from the traditional thai tea flavors, and combined with the cinnamon and underlying nuttiness that is familiar to traditional horchata. I don't think this place is terrible, but definitely has potential to be better. I got the mixed taco platter and it was pretty good. One of the chicken tacos had an odd flavor to it, but the other two were quite enjoyable. I've found my new food obsession in Waikīkī. I was starving and didn't want to walk too far from my hotel, I found this food truck only a 5 minute walk away. It's very tiny, but the flavors they produce are big and bold. I opted for a trio of tacos; shrimp, chicken satay and beef. The peanut sauce on the satay taco was delicious, the beef was tender and juicy, and the shrimp was plump and flavorful. I am obsessed with this little truck and plan to make it my first stop every time I find myself on Oahu. read more

Probably the best tasting chipotle sauce I've had. It wasn't overly smoky or had spice/kick but the flavor was there. We had been eyeing this food truck since our first day when we ate at the Cafe Alani spot (a few feet away) because their menu looked interesting. What stood out the most was their Thai tea with horchata and once we arrived, a woman was drinking it and said we should definitely order it because it's so good. Let me tell you... she wasn't lying!! The tajin shrimp is what we ended up ordering and that was also DELICIOUS. This lil food court park/area was a little dead on Friday night, poppin' on a Saturday and busy on Sunday but not as busy as Saturday. I was eyeing this place since Friday. Decided to give it a shot on Sunday and I gotta say that I was impressed with the tacos! Had the satay chicken and the pork belly. The satay chicken and the pork belly was seasoned well and the sauce made everything so much better. Tortilla was perfectly cooked. Can definitely go back anytime but I would not recommend the Thai spiced beefrice plate. It did not taste like Thai spiced beef at all. Just not sure how to explain as it was just off. I was really excited to try Thai Tacos! I got gyoza and the chicken satay over rice. Both were super flavorful, and I really enjoyed sitting outside at their picnic tables shared with other carts. Not a whole lot of outdoor seating, but a decent amount of tables with other food trucks in the lot. Came around 4:30 pm, so it wasn't too crowded. Not sure where you'd park if coming by car. Tried the chicken satay tacos and tofu tacos. Bold flavors (thankfully, not too salty), generous portions (at reasonable prices), and high quality ingredients. I was happy to have the carrot and cucumber sliced veggies, and if I have to offer a criticism, I would have loved these to be pickled. We have eaten here 3 times in the past 2 days and could live on the crispy pork belly tacos! There is plenty of shared seating for everyone and a nice way to enjoy these best tacos ever created. The combination of fresh, island made tortillas, crispy and tender pork belly, fresh cabbage and topped with a spicy, flavorful sauce-makes for the perfect taco ever created! On my 3rd trip there was a possible credit card machine malfunction which bypassed my option to add a tip. However, upon review of my receipt I noticed a tip was automatically added. There is a tip container if you, like me, prefer to leave a cash tip. The owner immediately reached out to me and (more than) remedied the situation and provided a full refund. It was clear it was fully cooked ahead of time and then reheated. That is understandable in a food truck, but I think the meat here was effectively cooked fully 2x. On top of that, the seasoning of the meat seemed a bit off; the chicken seasoning was ok but nothing special. Overall, very disappointing. read more
