Went here because Google Maps rated it highly. The service was good there was Victor and he was the only one there as were we so there was plenty of attention on us and no waiting times. the ambiance looks nice as well cozy decorations and the table cloths were a bit rough. i liked the lighting and overall vibe there was classic mexican music playing as well. the food like the tacos weee good we got fish tacos which was an extra $6 compared to the usual $4 kinds. it came with spicy pickled jalapeño on the side and red sauce. i was not a fan of the fajitas as the meat was very dry and was not in cohesion with the dish. drinks were usual price and the bill came out higher than expected, i don't think ill go back here but you should totally check it out B+ 7/10 read more

Located on busy North Ave where parking can be a downer, they have a lot two doors down. Amazing! Also amazing: the service and food. I don't think I have ever had such awesome salsa with chips. It looks so simple and unimpressive, but it really puts all others to shame. I was ready to mainline it. Dope mole enchiladas, sopitos, ceviche, and a massive burrito the resembles the size of a man's foreman. This place had been recommended to me before but I put off trying it out. This Mexican gem is on a completely different level than any other Latin restaurant in the area. The food is amazing - we had steak, chicken fajitas with the most amazing jumbo wild caught shrimp! The special was Atlantic salmon in a pistachio sauce that was incredible. Guacamole and fresh home-made salsa is like no other! So fresh with home-made tortilla chips were hard to stop eating. We really enjoyed the food at this place, my favorite being the tacos. My spouse really enjoyed the Birria. The guacamole was so fresh and delicious. What I didn't really like was the cocktails we ordered a classic margarita, but I don't think that's their forte and the cost was a little more than we expected $16 per drink. But there was a nice bonus at the end of dinner from the owner of the place in the form of tequila shots. We also had takeout, I of course ordered tacos and my husband had the Quesadilla, in my opinion it was a little too salty, but I'm not a big fan of quesadillas, so it's hard for me to be objective. The owner of this restaurant, Victor, is the main star here. I have never met a restaurant owner that has shown such incredible hospitality like Victor has. He is incredible and the main reason we will always come back. The food is outstanding as well. The shrimp enchiladas are my go to every time. The shrimp is always cooked perfectly and cut into small pieces which I love. The sauce on the enchiladas is so flavorful and delicious that I dip my chips in it as well. This is the best mex in town. Best food in New Rochelle by far. Everything here is freshly made. They do everything well, from the rice and beans to the burritos to the enchiladas. The burritos are wet, very very tasty. I tried the chorizo, really enjoyed it. Can't wait to try the other meats. This place has a gamechanger item. It's called the Shrimp enchiladas, these are amazing, I highly recommend them. Freshly made, high quality ingredients. It's so tasty. They were about $18-20 but they were completely worth it. So this place is a restaurant. Would be nice to sit and dine here. Obviously, during a quarantine, no dine-in. The takeout is done very well here. This place is a must in New Rochelle. read more

Wow! What a gem found in New Rochelle. I walked past this place dozens of times without paying it any notice, but if you want a warm atmosphere with incredible food you MUST come here. We were welcomed upon entry by Victor who was an incredible host. I haven't experienced service like this in years and you can tell there's passion in their establishment. We had the nachos, steak tacos, burria, mole, burrito, and churros for dessert. Everything was so tasty and you can tell it's made with love. They also offer homemade salsa with their homemade chips that were spectacular. They also have many drinks and dishes not featured on the menu so be sure to ask your server about that. What a great experience! The restaurant is super clean and nicely decorated. A gentleman I presume is the owner, Victor, was a gracious and generous host and took great care of us. He visited with us for a few minutes and bought us a complimentary surprise! The food was excellent with a good selection of Mexican favorites plus a few specialty dishes. Homemade chips.
