Their guac is some of the best I have had in westchester, super fresh & I love the addition of the pomegranate seeds- they add a nice crunch. Killer L.A. Style Tacos that are super delicious! The place is basically one room with communal tables and is very vibe-y and cool. The menu is simple - mainly tacos - but also some other staples such as chips & salsa and guacamole all of which were made fresh and tasted great! You order and pay at the back of the restaurant, get a number and then find a place to sit. As your food is ready they bring it out to you. Great music playing the whole time - lots of classic rock & pop songs - and cool artwork on the walls. Prices are very reasonable and he food is killer! Bonus points for the silhouette portrait of Nikki Sixx from Mötley Crüe on the front door. Apparently the owner's a big Crüe fan (the fonts are also a play on the Theatre of Pain Crüe fonts. read more

Clean - Clear - Cool and absolutely brilliant and tasty! At first I worried about being let down by the LA style taqueria but had to try it given the talent and skill it mentioned. I'm happy to report that it's very very good. I ordered simply, chicken and fish, just to gauge the level of flavors and thankfully it's totally on point. The chicken was chunkier than most other places and the fish was cooked to perfection with a nice crunch from the additions. I like it spicy and they were happy to oblige. Along with the amazing house hot sauce it made me want more, and I will return sooner than I expected to try more. While the weather is nice sitting outside makes it even more like the LA feel. Soft drinks-very expensive for 8 ounces (I think it was close to $4). Would rather be given a soda can than an 8 ounce sip! Came here with my family on a sunday afternoon. We had first tried to eat at a neighboring spot but that restaurant was very busy and had a 25-30 minute wait for food. With two you g kids in tow, I made the executive decision to eat at Lala Taqueria. Service was friendly, fast, inquisitive and caring. The day was beautiful and we chose to eat outside. Unfortunately I didnt even get to glance inside to see the decor but I expect that it was thematic and bright. We were immediately served water in a large brown corona bottle (cute touch!). Good subliminal messaging because my husband shortly thereafter got a hankering for and ordered a corona beer. We ordered chips and salsa (not offered gratis) to start. The chips were thick and fresh and salted and warm. The two salsas served alongside were also warm (love!!!) and so good. One was verde and the other mole inspired. I would go back for the chips alone. I ordered the salad (greens with cotija cheese, orange segments, onions and dressed in a citrus vinaigrette. The salad was refreshing and surprisingly large. My kids shared the quesadilla. I tried a bite and loved the multidimensionally flavored cheese. (Maybe several different cheeses?) my husband got the carnitas tacos and was happy with his order as well. I dont believe there was any food left at meals end - we demolished everything! read more

Simply the best! You have to come eat here. Everything is made fresh and with much care and attention. Second time I have been here and each time was phenomenal. The owners are so nice and so open to sharing their recipes with you especially when they can tell you truly appreciate their homemade dishes. The chicken tortilla soup is off the charts delicious. The chicken taco, the carne asada taco and the carnitas taco's are all cooked to perfection. You must try all three and decide for yourself which one you like the best. They are all so good I can't choose one over the other. I will travel back agaiin from NJ just to come here again! read more

1st: bring a cushion if you don't want sit on a hard bench table. They had about five or six very long wood bench tables for sitting. 2nd: For margarita day which was yesterday2/23... their margaritas we're not freshly made!!! they were made from a margarita mix which was clearly made by the machines of which you can see as you walk into the restaurant and this is a very small restaurant. 3rd: their chips were ok.... did come out warm but we're not the traditional corn chips!! 4th: for a Spanish type restaurant I was confused about the Decore and the pictures and all the stickers on the wall ...they definitely were not Spanish Decore but more rock 'n' roll Decore so I'm not sure on what this restaurant was trying to achieve???? It definitely did not have a Spanish feel to it. As for the music they definitely were not playing any Spanish music .....after all it was margarita day! read more

Unfortunately had a very unpleasant dining experience. Came on a Friday night with a friend, very excited to try the tacos! First, they took our order and right as we sat down came back a few minutes later asking what we ordered. Huh? We just told you! So we kindly reminded them, no problem. A couple sat next to us about 15 minutes after we sat down and still we hadn't gotten our food yet. Within 5 minutes they got their guac and chips, and another app while we still hadn't received anything. Then, the waitress came back asking what did we order AGAIN! It was really frustrating. The couple then received extra special treatment and attention while my friend and I had to have mediocre corn, $4 for ONE piece? The tacos came out cold, and there was such a lackluster of effort. This place opened not long ago and then... COVID. We have been meaning to give our support with a delivery order and finally did. All I can say is WHAT WERE WE WAITING FOR?!? We got 4 kinds of tacos - all very good but the sweet potato and fish tacos were GREAT!! Truly delicious. We also got the super yummy street corn and the carne asada quesadilla. SO GOOD. There are a few things that I think can be improved. 1) It's cold in there in the winter, especially if it's crowded and you get the last table by the door. 2) The guac and chips were delicious but I was super surprised by how little guac was served with the chips. I loved it so much and just wanted more. It seemed like it was only one avocado! 3) I would have loved a fish taco but was very happy with the ones on the menu. Tried for the first time today and am curious to try this place again before making a firm conclusion, but all and all pretty average. Food ranged from meh to good, but overall not super flavorful or fresh tasting. Tacos and dips are small, sides are large, and prices are average to high for the area and quality of the food. Service was good and food came out extremely fast. They do not have beans and rice, and chips and salsa are not free. We were a table of adults, but I imagine this place is good for families/children as their menu is short but accommodating to picky eaters. Not sure exactly what kind of vibe this place is trying to cultivate or what clientele they're marketing themselves to, but it's a good place to have a quick, low fuss meal if you're prepared to spend a fair price for decent food. read more

Surprisingly good. LA feel. Very reasonable. The food was extremely fresh and tasty. Came here with a bunch of younger guys and it was very casual. The sangria was good. I agree that the pork or beef tacos were best for carnivores. Too bad the seating is picnic tables. I think they want to attract teenagers. Extension rude service by the waitress tonight. She kept us waiting for a table even though there were 4 open. Took her time to clear it only after we had to ask again after waiting a while. When I asked why it took so long she said "you could clear the table yourself ". This lady is in the wrong business if she talks to people that way. She didn't deserve our business at that point so we walked across the street to tequila sunrise and had a great dinner with extremely fast service. Really not dying to come back here. At all. Guacamole was a small portion (just like majority of the reviews say) and was totally missing lime it's like they forgot it. Street corn was one big ear of corn and burnt, also under seasoned. Plantains were mushy. Baja fish taco (fried) was severely over cooked and dry. I have been here multiple times recently met the owners, the great chefs, the staff, tonight I was greeted by an extremely rude waitress or whatever she was standing not saying hello as i walked a one foot walk to sit down at the bar when the restaurant was COMPLETELY vacant and smelled as if someone used the bathroom and it stinks which didn't bother us last time, but now since her attitude matches the smell i won't be back and I'll make sure everyone I sent from the area doesn't either, i have a business i understand mask policy but say hello to the only paying customers you have i would have stayed and ordered dinner since i was just finished my massage across the street and he was waiting for me.
