We took our French Bulldog in for a quick nail trim and were very happy with TLC Grooming. There was no need for an appointment and the treatment was quick and painless. She made my dog feel comfortable by talking to him the whole time and making him familiar with the tools and the process. I'm very happy with their service. My dog has been suffering from foxtail's and a thick Velcro coat, a medium terrier long hair mix named Hydro. I have to say...her husband greeted my dog and within seconds Hydro was giving him kisses on his arm, which is typically unusual for Hydro, he usually just panics. He's had many medical problems over the past two years. He thinks when he gets in the car it's going to be a miserable experience- TLC goes to the effort of making your canine comfortable and welcomed. I know my dog was annoying and whiney while he was there- because I know my canine through and through but the company accommodated him at the best to their ability, we will be back. I just have to write another review of TLC grooming by Candice in Paradise. These people are outstanding! I took my Yorkies in to be groomed. I usually do it myself because I am so picky. I had their faces and feet groomed and she did such an excellent job, better than what I would have done. They are professional and very loving to all animals. But their prices are too low!!! I just had to give them another 5 stars. My schedule was insane for a while and I was forced to go to a Petco (can't even remember if it was in Chico or Oroville!!!). They said my dog was a little challenging at times, and barely clipped her nails. When I went back to TLC, they all commented on how sweet she was, and she was SO happy when I picked her up. I didn't know they didn't take cards, and didn't have my checkbook with me....said I could pay later, and of course I sent my son back the following day with cash plus a nice tip. Who does that any more?? All this, and the best price I've ever found anywhere. Don't take your dog to any other groomer in town-- they are dog whisperers, I swear, LOL My dog Libby and I, just love these people and their talents. read more

Owner got my two large dogs in last minute! Very friendly and easy to work with! Brought my dogs in to her absolutely filthy and needing a shave job! And dogs came out clean,shaved and happy! :) one dog only had a tiny bit of dirt left in one ear! Overall very happy with the groomer and the service! Will be returning! UPDATE: took both of my dogs in for their yearly grooming today! Great prices! Always a pleasure to work with! HOWEVER, it seems that they completely forgot to clean my dogs ears. AGAIN. Friday morning before the holiday weekend I took my wife's poodle, George, for a walk. George found an especially dense patch of those insidious little stickers and managed to embed close to a million of the little suckers deep in his curly hair. I threw George in the shower in an effort to soak the stickers away; no avail. Brush, comb - zip, nada. My wife came home to find me attacking her precious poodle with a pair of scissors. She immediately coined the phrase, "Groomergency!" and called TLC. Miraculously, they were able to squeeze George into their pre-holiday Friday schedule and after six hours of what must have been trying times (you try spending six hours with George on a GOOD day) George emerged Westminster-worthy. I have tried multiple groomers and have finally found the BEST one! My dog, Bailey, has personality issues... She gets anxious, doesn't like other dogs and normally has to be muzzled.
