It felt like having a long-lost friend in the room; she even sat on the floor with us to say goodbye to my 18-year-old Maddie. I was especially grateful for her specialized approach for cats she uses a gentle, sting-free method that made the process peaceful. Cats are known to hold on and suffer longer than they should, and without her, I know Maddie would have continued to struggle, and I would have been heartbroken watching it. She saved us both from unnecessary trauma. If you need someone who is spectacular, easy to be around, and truly understands the bond we have with our pets, she is the one to call."

Thanksgiving evening she became worse, and her back legs started giving out. She was falling more and more and unable to get back up on her own, and that was really the final sign to me that is was time. I researched online but a few options had no availability until after the weekend. I found Linda's website and sent her an email that night, but really didn't hold much hope. However, early Friday morning when I grabbed my phone intending to call our local vet (which I was dreading by the way), to my surprise was a text from Linda saying that she had an opening that morning. The last thing I wanted to do was to take Sadie up to my vet's office- they are great, but having to subject my beloved pet into a place that would just stress her out in her final moments was not something I wanted to endure. Linda was warm and gentle, making the whole experience so much better. Sadie was comfortable in her own bed in her own environment, and my wife and I could not have been happier. Still extremely difficult, but so much better with Linda. I cannot recommend her enough!

We have a very dramatic (and wonderfully stubborn) senior Doberman that we rescued seven years ago. Nail trims used to be a nightmare because he refused to let anyone touch his feet, which often meant expensivevet visits and sedation just to get his nails clipped. Having Dr. Stacy come to our home eliminated so much of that stress, for both us and our dog. But what truly impressed me was how she helped us finally solve his chronic ear infections. We had been spending $400+ at our previous veterinary clinic every month or two treating recurring infections, only to learn that the underlying issue was never really being addressed. Dr. Stacy took the time to educate us on what was actually happening, how to prevent future infections, and how to properly care for his ears. Thanks to her guidance, he's been ear infection-free for months and is so much happier and more comfortable. She has also helped us better understand the needs of our aging dog and guided us toward a more effective care plan overall. At 10 years old, he's thriving. He walks around like the regal gentleman he believes he is, and I feel confident knowing he's comfortable, happy, and not suffering. What I appreciate most about Dr. Stacy is that she genuinely treats your pets like they are her priority. She has no problem getting down on the floor, squeezing into a bathroom closet, or working wherever she needs to in your home to make your animal feel safe and comfortable. Her compassion, knowledge, and willingness to meet pets where they are is something special. The convenience of having veterinary care at home is incredible, but Dr. Stacy herself is what makes the experience exceptional. I can honestly say every experience we've had has been positive, professional, and centered around what's best for the animal. There's a reason so many families speak so highly of her, and we are incredibly grateful to be among them. We feel completely spoiled having her care for our animals, and I truly cannot recommend her highly enough! The peace of mind she has given our family is something I will always be grateful for.

When it was time to say goodbye to our beloved elderly dog, Simon, she treated him with incredible kindness, dignity, and care. The entire process was calm and unhurried, allowing Simon to remain comfortable in his own home surrounded by the people who loved him most. Dr. Stacy explained everything clearly, answered our questions with patience, and made sure Simon felt no pain. He passed peacefully and gently, which was the greatest gift we could have asked for. Losing a pet is heartbreaking, but Dr. Stacy's compassion and professionalism brought us so much comfort. We will always be grateful for the care she provided to Simon and our family during his final moments. I highly recommend her services to anyone facing this difficult decision.

She was not in pain, but her condition changed minute to minute--sometimes worse, sometimes better--depending on progression and medication response. Deciding when to let her go was incredibly difficult. What I knew without hesitation was that, due to her severe stress at the vet, I did not want her final moments to be anywhere but home. Unfortunately, securing an at‑home appointment isn't always easy, and my biggest fear was that her condition would suddenly decline and I wouldn't be able to get someone to my house in time--forcing her last moments to be spent frightened at a clinic. Dr. Conner completely removed that fear and stress. She worked around our needs, scheduled appointments with incredible flexibility, and canceled or adjusted them without guilt or pressure. Her number one concern was always my little girl's comfort and dignity. That flexibility gave me the greatest gift anyone could offer in this situation--the ability to make the right decision at the right time, without the added stress of trying to force such a deeply personal moment into an external calendar beyond my control. Dr. Conner's compassion, patience, and understanding meant everything to us. I will forever be grateful. I used copilot to finalize my thoughts but the above is 100 percent accurate reflection of my experience.

I scheduled a hospice consult for my sweet 13 year old lab and received a quick response with a call from Jennifer. Even though I never met Jennifer, I felt like she was holding my hand during the whole process. When it was time for our hospice consult, Dr. Chandler came to our house and assessed our boy along with going over quality of life. She even gave him a treatment before she left to see if it would help his mobility. After the consult, I received a very thorough email from Dr. Chandler giving me a breakdown of my dog's prognosis along with some treatment options. She reached out to other mobile vets on my behalf and provided helpful links for every option of care that she gave me. Jennifer also followed up to check on Oakley to see how he was doing. When it was time to make the decision for me to let him go, I texted Dr. Chandler (after hours on her day off). She still responded. She came out a couple days later to our home and we were able to give him a peaceful goodbye on our lawn, which was his favorite place. Dr. Chandler treated Oakley with such care and dignity from start to finish. Jennifer also called me again to check on my wellbeing a week after we said goodbye. Dr. Chandler reached out to me on a Saturday to let me know she had Oakley. He was ready to return home. She worked with us on getting him back and even went as far as matching the tissue paper to the color of his fur for the packaging. She also included a beautiful dog card along with his name which was handwritten. It lays against the paw print and clipping of his hair she gave us. I hope I provided enough details as to why Love Always is not only the best, but the only option I would ever use when having someone take care of my beloved companions.

Despite my apprehensions we had such a lovely experience from start to finish. One of the main critiques of VCA is the price, and yes it was expensive, but honestly for the convenience it really wasn't bad. $350 deposit to be seen immediately, but after that all of the medical personnel were very friendly and accommodating to our budget, they didn't attempt to push tests and were very apparent about costs. They even gave us tips to save money (ie buying Pepcid from the pharmacy instead of buying directly from them) Overall a positive experience, and my baby boy is home happy which is all that matters

Every other clinic was closed, and VCA Valley Oak told me to come in right away. That decision saved his life. Zack has some unique medical challenges, and I knew going in this might not be straightforward. Dr. Wilson took the time to fully assess him, consulted with UC Davis, and came back with a clear, workable plan while still giving me options. I never felt rushed or pushed in one direction. The entire team was incredible. They encouraged me to visit, kept me updated morning and night, and I always knew how Zack was doing. I could tell he was being cared for not just medically, but emotionally. He's a very social cat, and it meant a lot to know he wasn't alone back there. What stood out most to me was how much everyone genuinely cared about him. One of the staff at the front desk told me she wished she could just go back and cuddle him all day, and when I spoke with one of the doctors later, she mentioned that people had been asking about him and wanted to know how he was doing. That meant more to me than I can say. Emergency vet care is expensive and stressful, and I know that's where a lot of negative reviews come from. But in my experience, this team was compassionate, skilled, and deeply invested in my cat's outcome. Zack is home now, recovering and very much himself again. I'm incredibly grateful to Dr. Wilson and the entire team.
