With Michelle, they're obviously glad to see me when I come back, but they've clearly had an awesome weekend! I imagine my cats saying to me: "Oh hey, did you leave? Nice to see you, I guess." They're definitely contented and happy while I'm away, which utterly warms my heart. Michelle loves my cats and isn't too shy to say it! I adore the pictures she sends me and she clearly spends a while playing with them during every visit. She's even sent me pictures where she was clearly on the floor in order to stick a hand in their favorite tunnel, so it's active, engaged play time! She honestly goes above & beyond in taking care of them. Even the house is cleaner (she tidies up the kitchen...she's put away dishes I left in the rack & cleaned the counters)! I would never expect this but I really appreciate it -- such a nice treat to return to after a trip. Speaking of treats, about ~50% of the time I come home to new toy(s) that she's given the cats, which they relish. My cats & I all love Michelle. I can't recommend her enough!

I will be calling Michelle from now on when we are away!! Michelle went above and beyond what we expected. She came once a day, fed them, filled their water, cleaned their litter. She also brought new toys for them and played with them. She sent pictures to us via email every day after her visits, with updates which I really appreciated since I was missing my babies and nervous about leaving them for so long. We came Home to find our apartment in cleaner and nicer conditions than we left it. She had tidied up! Our cats were super lovey, which I think was due to Michelle's great energy. We call her Auntie Michelle now, and I know my boys are already looking forward to when we leave again so that Auntie can come play with them! I Highly recommend Michelle for your pets. Hi. We took our dog to Sea Legs Integrative Vet in West Roxbury due to a torn ACL, arthritis, etc…read more and it was a very poor experience. Our pet had gone through rehab years before at a different location for a torn ACL on the other side and ultimately had surgery, but at his advanced age we decided not to do the surgery with its long recovery for this side. Session 1. The setting up of the initial appointment was great and the vet Dr. Jaclyn Coble was very responsive, fit us in right away. The staff were also very friendly. We went to the first appointment and the vet was examining our dog's knees and then went to do the Soundwave ultrasound on the wrong knee and when I pointed out that she had the wrong knee she said she thought that it had felt fine on that side (the side he has a titanium TTA in). I wondered why she was willing to do the procedure on a healthy knee. She made some comment about reading through his records, but I had not sent her his records. She proceeded and did the soundwave therapy on the now correct knee, but needed guidance from her vet tech, vet nurse on how to get the machine to work. Her examination on the wrong knee was $295 &$350 for the soundwave ultrasound for total charge for session I of $645 Session 2. We returned a week later to do rehab. First they did warm laser therapy. Then, they had our dog do an obstacle course, stand on an uneven surface. Finally, they had him use the underwater treadmill. While he was on the treadmill, they attached the neck collar at the front of the machine to him (there is nowhere for him to go as the treadmill walls are 4 feet high), but they had the treadmill going so slow that our dog was riding it to the back of the treadmill before he would walk and it was stretching on the collar so I very quickly untied the collar so that he did not get choked. No Session 3. We returned for the second soundwave session and the vet tech/nurse took us into the room and shaved his knee and they were going to start the procedure and I asked why the doctor was not doing it this time, if she was going to see him and they said that they were more than capable. I was not questioning if they were capable, but I did wonder how she would know if he was any better without seeing him. They went to get her and suffice it to say that it went downhill from there and we did not have the second soundwave and we will not be returning. I love my dog and I am willing to do anything to help him have a good quality of life, but this vet did not instill confidence, lied about reading his records, did not know what knee was injured, did not know how to use the machine, let them tie his collar on a moving machine and was either willing to do a procedure on a healthy knee or worse did not realize it was a healthy knee. We had done rehab with the first torn ACL, laser, water treadmill, obstacle/uneven surface so this isn't that the experience is new to us, but I have never felt such a lack of faith in a provider.

Thanks to Heather, I was able to follow through on my non-dog commitments with a clear conscience that I didn't have to worry about my pets. I also met her many times when I was walking my dogs and she was walking others. She always had those dogs under calm and happy control and they clearly loved her as much as mine did. Heather is a gem and I thoroughly recommend her as a dog carer, and she looked after my cats when I was away. I could always rely on her.

Mila was on morphine for pain and steroids to help her breathe, and throughout it all, Dr. Mary was there for us every step of the way. She checked in daily, came by frequently with medications, and always made time to see Mila in person. When it was time to say goodbye, I cannot stress enough how incredible Dr. Mary was -- not only with Mila but with our entire family. Her compassion, kindness, and gentle nature made an unbearable moment just a little more bearable. If you are caring for a sick pet, I cannot recommend Dr. Mary and Honored Hearts enough. She is a truly special person, and we are forever grateful for the care she provided to Mila and to us.

BEWARE OF SCAM!!…read more Boston Dog Walks is a dangerous organization. We were so sad when our favorite dog walker went on to another business but felt relieved to have found BDW. However, on multiple occasions (due to my job), I happened to be home during our dog's regularly scheduled walks. And each time, NO ONE CAME! How long had we been paying these people who pretended to be walking our dog while collecting their weekly checks?! If only dogs could talk ... We had an agreement when we hired them that they would leave a note, indicating the time that they came, and at least 5 times, they "forgot" to leave a note. The final straw came when I stopped home mid-morning to find a note alleging that our dog had been walked at "12:20 pm." It wasn't even 11 AM!!!! When we fired BDW and demanded to have our keys back, Rachael (the owner) proceeded to tell us that our expensive, non-replicable keys to our building AND apartment were lost! A few days later, she corrected herself and said she realized that they were "broken," so we didn't need to worry. Needless to say, I changed the locks. The person who referred us to this organization has said that he has heard from multiple persons complaints such as ours, so I felt compelled to spread the word.
