TLS was absolutely amazing and I would recommend them to everyone. I live in Aria near the corner of Jacaranda and Edmonton/Border and have been here for 2 1/2 years. I wanted to get my garage ceiling insulated and the rest of the attic to R38. I requested quotes from other vendors and read reviews on each of the vendors whom quoted. I choose TLS because the tech quoting the job and the customer service person assigned to us, where friendly, knowledgeable, and great with any follow up questions. Scheduling was very easy, 1-2 weeks out, and when they had an earlier opening they called and texted to check if I wanted to stay with the original date or was interested in moving to the earlier date. Install team were great, 2 knowledgeable installers. They took before and after pictures and showed me where there were low points in my current insulation. They spent about almost 2 hours installing blown insulation and cleaning up afterwards. Proving pictures with the invoice and offered multiple paying options: Check, Venmo, and Credit Card. Absolutely no up-charge or fees when used the credit card option. I super pleased to have done my research which allowed me to select this company. What a great experience! read more

I contacted them to request a quote for insulation. The scheduler was friendly but when I asked for the latest available appointment times I was told 3pm-4pm. I said great, when is the next available appoint in the time frame. She said she couldn't schedule me for that time because it would be "working backwards." She could do 1pm-2pm and I said no, I'd like the 3pm-4pm time. She went on to say they have that time frame but really don't like to schedule it. I said ok, thanks anyway but I'll look for another company to help me. They might do good work but they can't even schedule at a convenient time for their customer. I had to have new ductwork installed in my attic and after seeing the lack of insulation I actually had in that space, I called TLS and they came out took a look and advised me to get an energy audit to get an energy credit rebate from FPL. I've read other reviews on TLS insulation services and realized how subjective these reviews can be; what works for some obviously doesn't work for others. I did have them come over to measure and they gave me a quote which was very competitive with other insulation companies. However, I'm a what if person. What if one of the workers puts his foot through my ceiling while working in the attic? What if one of them gets hurt? And where would I go to address a problem. So I went to the business address they provided: 3230 Southgate Cir Ste 109, Sarasota, FL 34239 It doesn't exist! Well, let me readdress that. I spoke to the building manager there and he informed me that what they have is a Virtual Address. What the hell is that I said to him. He said that they Do Not have an office there or office staff. What they do have is a mail box to pick up their mail. Needless to say, I picked another local company. One that had office staff, a physical address (building), and I ended up saving a couple of hundred bucks with this other company. I'm not suggesting that TLS is a bad insulation company, I'm sure they do good work. I'm just saying check all of your options when choosing ANY company. Scheduled an appointment to have attic insulation installed MONTHS! In advance all the way back in June for today July 22nd. Was waiting around until almost noon and then I realized they probably never scheduled it. I call them and of course....they never scheduled it. Very upset to not have it scheduled took time off of work to be there for this and now nothing is getting done. Now I have to wait another week because it never got scheduled. Great job. read more

9/15/18 Loved these guys! Friendly, fast, and INFORMATIVE! Our power bills have been very high over the summer and we are looking for ways to decrease our bill. We knew we needed insulation. They saw right away that there were areas in the attic that were lacking coverage. They used the spray insulation to get every inch in our attic. What a neat process! A machine shreds the insulation and it is blown in throw a tube to a guy placing it on in the attic. We had some questions about our efficiency and they answered all our questions and gave us tips to help lower our power bill even more. We had TLS bring our second story condo's attic insulation up to current code. The original 25 plus year old cellulose insulation had compacted due to humidity. Even though we had just recently replaced our entire original ac system the new high efficiency unit still seemed to run excessively. Not anymore! TLS was prompt, timely, tidy and very affordable. I met with Seth who is one of the owners and discussed what it would take to add insulation to my house. I currently had cellulose that collapsed to the point that I can see all the studs in my attic (less than 4 inches insulation). Seth gave me a reasonable quote and managed to get me scheduled the following week to bring my attic to R-38. They came on time performed the job upstairs first then showed me what they did before they closed up the attic access. They then came downstairs and again showed me their work. While in the attics they checked to ensure ductwork was intact as well. They went through about 50 bags of insulation. They even vacuumed and cleaned up the inside and out before leaving. He was extremely nice, flexible with my scheduling needs, took the time to explain the process and answer any questions that I had. He also answered his phone anytime I called him. Tom was always pleasant on the phone and happy to answer any further questions. On the date of service, Tom and his two technicians Jovan and Frank arrived promptly.
