They have a capacity of up to just shy of 200 people, easy layout, friendly staff and seem super accommodating - With a huge fridge for storing food, large stage, nice acoustics, speaker system, lighting, restrooms and lots of space. It definitely always feels smaller from the outside on the corner of Kester Avenue and Camarillo, but you'll be surprised. And being inside of a neighborhood makes parking for guests/attendees really tricky for a big gathering, but not impossible. They do have a parking lot next to the Banquet Hall and it can hold a good number of cars I feel like it's around 30 or so comfortable factoring in if everyone is leaving around the same time and that the majority of parking spots are facing one direction. Their prices vary depending on dates as well as the number of guest. Being such a small private venue with limited advertising or media I'd like to see them do as well as they were doing before 2020. You can spot their numbers on their banners when passing by (Hall for Rent) and pretty much call anytime of day.

We chose to have it at Bexx and it turned out perfectly. The whole team was delightful. Great communication, personal service, unbelievable attention to detail, delicious food and top notch beverages. The decor and food choices were ample but not overwhelming. The food was made there, completely fresh, healthy and beautifully presented. I wanted this day to be amazing and memorable. Bexx and team exceeded expectations. Several guests said it was by far and away the best baby shower they'd ever been to. I agree. This venue is a unique, charming home in North Hollywood. Late delivery + communication issues, but the delivery crew was great…read more I used Rental Avenue for furniture rentals for an event and spent around $7,000. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly stressful due to logistics and communication. The delivery showed up about 6 hours late, which completely threw off our setup timeline. Because they were so behind, I ended up having to stay at the property until 10:00 PM just to get everything placed and ready. To make matters worse, communication with the office was really difficult -- at one point, we had to have the delivery guys call the office repeatedly just to get someone on the phone and get direction/answers. That should never be on the customer (or the crew) to chase down. I'll say this: the delivery guys were honestly great. They were professional, kind, and clearly doing their best under the circumstances. We also ran into an issue with the table/chair heights. I ordered tall chairs, but I had selected shorter cocktail tables. They did help fix the issue, which I appreciate -- but the way it was handled made me feel like I was being scolded for it. When you're spending thousands and already dealing with a massively late delivery, the last thing you need is attitude. A simple "no worries, we'll get it sorted" would have gone a long way. Overall: great delivery crew, but the late delivery, hard-to-reach office, and the tone when resolving the setup issue made this a frustrating experience. I really wanted this to be a smooth, professional rental process, but it wasn't. I would not recommend.

I dragged 4 kids here (half hour drive) to catch someone to help me book a birthday and they say they're in the middle of the class and closed the door on my face. Not closed- slammer. We put on our aprons, washed our hands, and quickly got seated to begin our group lesson on knife sharpening and vegetable chopping. She and Chef Adam even walked around to make sure we were doing everything properly and not cutting our fingers off. What I thought was really neat was that Chef Liz had a mirror on the ceiling to provide an aerial view of what she was doing at her station! The menu was great. We had lemon berry scones, quiches, bell pepper and leek hashbrowns, bread pudding, and an omelette bar! Chefs Liz and Adam were very organized and had each station prepared with all the ingredients. My son attended two days of the camp for kids. It smelled strongly of cigarettes inside for the…read morefirst hour. My son's aide (my son is disabled) said it could have been a casino given the smell. This was true for the two days he attended. We won't be finishing the week despite paying for it. Pretty sure smoking inside that building is illegal and definitely shouldn't be allowed right before kids come in. The instructor also left the room entirely several times for 15-20 min. While my son's aide was there, he is not an employee of the camp and should not be responsible for the other children present. Besides those issues, the camp itself was very underwhelming with minimal activities planned beyond drawing. We have done art camps at half the cost that put much more thought into it and didn't lead to lung damage from smoke inhalation.
