I'll definitely call TLC Autoglass again. They gave me the lowest quote after calling 5 other places. I forget the gentleman's name, but he showed up on time, and was very professional. Upon arrival, he noticed that the glass he had just picked up was wrong, and immediately called the distributor to let them know. They sent someone over with the correct window while he was removing the old one from my car, and it showed up within a few minutes of the removal and prep. Just like everyone else here I had excellent service from John (owner of TLC). I had no idea who to use for a Jeep Wrangler cracked windshield in Austin so I requested estimates from ten places that all had good yelp reviews. Five responded with quotes within three hours and John's took all of ten minutes. The estimates were as follows for a Mopar OEM windshield replacement with mobile service: $275, $300, $329, $359, $349, $369, $375, $389, $419 and $459. I tossed the $389 and ups and looked closely at the $275 because it cheaper than most of the other's "generic: glass quotes which raised a red flag. After further research, this company does ALL kinds of glass and most of their reviews were for house glass so I tossed this one. John was the $300 quote and also seemed like the most knowledgeable and consumer friendly and a "one man shop" which I always like, dealing with the owner. He called when he was on his way, arrived and put in the OEM glass in about 30 minutes and explained how to "care" for it the next few day by not washing the car. And on top of that he gave us a 15% off because of the yelp ad! You will not find a more professional, efficient and good guy that John for your auto glass needs in Austin area, period. read more
