My partner and I argued over whether the sprinkles made or ruined the experience, so just know that there are a decent amount of them on the edges of the icing and also lots baked into the cake itself and if you love em, great! Like most customers, I assumed the tips placed in those jars were going directly to the employees working behind the counter and making drinks during busy rushes. Finding out that employees reportedly do not directly receive those tips feels misleading and leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The staff always seem to work incredibly hard, especially during rushes, and customers tip because they want to support THEM. If tip money is being used differently, customers deserve transparency about that. For me personally, this -- combined with other experiences that made me feel unwelcome -- has changed how I view the business entirely. I'll be choosing to support other local businesses moving forward.
