How do you mess up a pizza ? I added on one topping (banana peppers) and it came in DoorDash in a cooled down temperature. Upon picking up the box at the door, the lack of temperature bothered me but I decided to ignore it and heat in the microwave. But just as I open the box, the one topping I added on is not there. I still tried the pizza even though I lost all my interest for it at this point and it was greasy and not that good. Then I tried the cheese sticks and it was not bad -just standard. The 24" pizza is calling your name!!! Answer that call! This shows how changing management can make things better. We've been ordering from this location since 2009 and it was good then. It's really the best! And yes, there is a taste difference between the normal sizes and the 24". Don't mess around, just do it. The Toarmina bread is THE BEST! Soft and chewy, buttery and garlic. The pizza sauce is great and really good ranch. I'm sure there will be a debate after this if pizza and ranch go together. They do. The old world pepperoni is yummy. Halal options so it suites everyone in the family. Friendly on the phone. Just wish they'd extend their delivery zone by 2 more miles. read more

One of my favorite pizza joints! The Toaraminos bread is amazing and if you have a large party, the super large pizza is SO fun! Barely fits in your car LOL! Kids and adults think it's hilarious how big this pizza box and pizza are! And super reasonably priced! It's a must try in Saline! The family who owns Toaraminos also owns and icecream shop inside their store and also owns Paradise Mexican food next door as well. Super nice family! LOVE THESE PEOPLE! I was their first customer of the day, was working in the area and waited for them to open at 2pm which seemed pretty late in the day to be honest, thought that was weird. They have this HUGE 24' inch pizza classic football pizza to share! I ordered a large pineapple pizza (my favorite). It was really doughy, I don't like when pizza's taste like that, BUT!!! I was the first order of the day and the ovens just turned on and had I ordered the same pizza later in the day it wouldn't have tasted as doughy. Didn't have a flip so that's good. I added 2 pounds of chicken on top of my pizza, because that's kinda my thing. Which def made the pizza taste better. Without it I probably would have thrown it away. Barely any pineapple and the cheese was falling off the pizza. The sauce was basic. Everything about it was basic. It tasted dry. But I will be back at some point if I'm in the area to get a deep dish and see what that tastes like. The staff and owner are really good kind cool people. Took advantage of the Sunday lasagna special w/ cheesy bread for $9.32. It wasn't great, but it was pretty good for the price and I'll get two meals out of it. Very friendly staff. I got off work at 1 and called for an order and said I was 5 minutes away. I called back before I got there because I realized I needed half pepperoni and it was already in the oven. He offered to take it out and take off the pepperonis but I declined and opted to get some cheese bread. That being said, extremely fast and friendly service, and fantastic quality. The older gentleman who answered the phone was very kind understanding. I would imagine this is a great place to go if you have a large event and need massive pizzas affordably. THE GOOD: I love the fact that this location has a vegan menu, it's a vegan dream come true. Their vegan pizzas have choices of Vegan Supreme with all the vegan meats included, the vegan pizza that has all the vegetable toppings, vegan pizza with buffalo chicken and more! They also include vegan chicken nuggets or vegan chicken strips THE BAD: For their vegan menu they use Gardeins, Beyond Burger, etc. (which are known to be GMO) and other 3rd party vegan meats which I asked them if their vegan meat are NON-GMO and they said they don't know. WHAT'S UNIQUE: Just this location provides and offers a Vegan Menu. I've been to other ones and asked them and they don't have a vegan menu. Kudos to this location! read more

Delicious deep dish pizza at Taormina's!! My mom has been raving about the pizza here so we decided to get take out today for lunch during my last weekend visiting Michigan. We got the super deluxe 12x12 deep dish and a Greek salad. The super deluxe is basically a supreme pizza on steroids. Pepperoni, ground beef, Italian sausage, bacon, ham, onion, green pepper, mushroom, black olive, banana peppers... a smorgasbord of deliciousness topped on a deep loaf of dough, sauce, and cheese. The pizza took about 25 minutes or so to bake and came out looking like perfection! The size is pretty large and comes out to 12 pieces total. Definitely looking forward to having some yummy leftovers! The Greek salad was standard- iceberg lettuce, onion, green peppers, black olives, tomato slices, beets, pepperoncini and crumbled feta. Nothing extraordinary but the veggies were super fresh which is always a plus and the Greek dressing was tasty. The customer service was wonderful too. I recently purchased a Groupon for Toarmina's. Despite living in Canton for close to 7 years, tonight was our try trying Toarmina's. We were impressed! I ended up purchasing a Deluxe thin crust and an all meat thin crust. They were large, and tasty! My only regret was that I didn't take them up on the flavored crust option. I appreciate they have a little something for everyone (Vegan, low carb, halal). They have more than pizza! They offer plenty of appetizers, subs, salads, pasta, wings and desserts. These aren't expensive toppings, folks. We tipped 15% and it was the husband and wife who own the franchise at pickup - no employees. You'd think a $7 tip to the owners, they'd make a nice pie, but no. Dry, stingy with toppings. Best vegan pizza option in the area. I wish I had known about it sooner! Cheese is good, not unmelted or gummy or any of the pitfalls of most vegan mozzarella you'll find. We have ordered from Toarmina's a few times. It's nice that they deliver to our house. I really like their pizza. They have good sausage and I like the sauce. There is a good crispiness to the crust and it has a good flavor. We tried the flavored crusts and I honestly couldn't tell any difference from their normal crust, which isn't a big deal because their normal crust is good. There are a few qualms, though. The cheese bread had almost no cheese and didn't come with enough dipping sauce. It was dry, tough, and doughy and I would not order it again. We also got a side salad and it was big chunks of slightly wilted iceberg lettuce with some unripened tomatoes. The dressing that came with it was oily and had no flavor. I would not get a salad from them again. The delivery drivers were prompt, courteous, and on time both times I've ordered, so that's a big positive. We might order from Toarmina's again and try some different food and maybe some unique toppings on our pizzas, but there are other places on my bucket list that I might have to try first. read more

After a hour and a half, I called the store and they assured me that my order was on the way and it was fresh. Once it arrived, it looked amazing! Deep dish with bacon and pineapple. My only complaint is that they always forget my flavored crust and sauce. They offer flavored crust, but they always forget. The pizza is usually very good but they often mess up the other parts of the order which is frustrating when its a delivery. The last two times we have ordered from them they have screwed stuff up and since we pay by credit card when we order we're kind of stuck. Problems we have had are them bringing us the wrong pop...last time we ordered a diet pepsi, the guy brought us a regular one...which we can not drink so that was a waste. Time before that we ordered the salad without green peppers, the salad they brought us... it had green peppers on it... So like I said the pizza is good but they often forget to flavor the crust - which is how we order it and they often mess up at least one part of the order. If you want a good pizza delivery I would not recommend this place at all. If you can pick up your order and check to make sure its correct then go with torminas. read more

They offer good sizes, relatively good prices and amazing selection of toppings including SEVERAL kinds of vegan meats and fun drizzles like hot honey. I would have never expected this from a non trendy/hipster place. Also, when I ordered online my order was correct and on time. It's a basic thing but SO many restaurants just get that wrong. We live in Toledo. My sister in law lives in Canton - just a couple miles from this location. For various reasons, we have the need to grab a quick meal when we are at her home. Last night was one of those occassions. So, even though we've never been thrilled with Toarmina's, it was close and quick. This was the third or fourth time we've tried their food. Last night was the final time we'll make that mistake. We ordered 2 large pizzas - their "Supreme" and the "Greek" pizza along with three subs - a "Super", an "Italian" and the "Veggie" sub. Aside from the fact that toppings and sauce on the pizzas were very scarce, nothing - including the subs - had much flavor either. The buns used for the subs are certainly nothing special nor is their pizza crust. While the cheese on both pizzas was ample, let's face it, cheese doesn't add much flavor. One looks to the sauce and toppings for that - both of which were conspicuously absent from these pies. Oddly, the veggie sub (which included lettuce - salad size chunks) was also served hot. The only positive comment I can make is that the pizzas were piping hot. I'd rate their pies maybe just a notch above Little Caesar's "Hot n Ready" - which I consider pretty much inedible. May as well chew on the box that LC's Hot n Ready pies come in - texture and flavor would be about the same. For $51 for two pies and three subs, I'd expect much better. You've had your chances Toarmina's. You'll not get any more of our $$. Surely there are better pies to be had in the Canton area. read more

Ordered some pizza for the Lions game yesterday (mainly because for some odd reason, Papa John's in Canton doesn't open til 1PM on Sundays... you would think a chain like that would open for the football crowd?) Toarmina's always has good coupons if you live anywhere within a couple miles of the place... we ordered the 16in pizza with extra cheese (add pepperoni for 1.99) and got the 3 free deal... comes with pizza, salad, breadsticks and sauce, and a 2 liter for only like 12.99... ours ended up being about 15.99 due to adding a topping to our coupon and getting extra cheese on our tossed salad. Pizza is pretty standard... probably a step above Hot n Ready, but a step below Pizza Hut. Don't come here expecting deep dish, supreme quality ingredients... it is what it is. I've only gotten the regular round pizza and regular breadsticks here, i'll probably leave the other options (wings, ribs, etc) to the BBQ place located just across Ford Road). If you're looking for cheap, quick pizza on a weekend (they do deliver during peak times), with a coupon, then this will do nicely. read more

This is my absolute favorite pizza place. While my family thinks it's just an average pizza place, I think they're spectacular. We often get they're huge 24" pizza when we have family in town or guests over, and it never disappoints. The dough, sauce, and cheese all work perfectly together with none of them overpowering the other. While I've never had their other menu items I'm sure they're delicious. They often have coupons available, our favorite to use is buy a pizza and get 3 free sides (breadsticks, salad, and a 2 liter of pop). They constantly have new coupons to use which is probably why we get it about once a month! If, however, you are looking for a sit down pizza place, they do not offer that.
