The staff seemed uninterested in correcting the mistake or offering any satisfactory resolution. For a restaurant specializing in fusion pizza, the extreme lack of quality control, combined with the terrible customer service and normal ambience means I cannot recommend this place. Growing up in the 1970s into 1990s, independent Mom and Pop restaurants served the best pizza you have ever tasted. Sadly, most of them have faded away over the years, but Maria's in Canton has real staying power and have been in business for over four decades. The owners of Maria's firmly believe in giving their customers the best service possible. They treat you more like family than just a number. They have always been one to think outside the box when it comes creating new and exciting products. Today, my coworkers and I enjoyed one of their truly unique concepts that was very delightful. No other restaurant that I know of, has ever offered a Thanksgiving themed pizza before. However, some creative genius who works in kitchen at Maria's let their mind run wild, and you end up with pizza that has a bread like crust, mashed potatoes for a base, then all the fixings like turkey, dressing and light cheese. To top it off, you can add gravy like I did, or cranberry sauce. If you ever have the chance, the interior at Maria's is rather interesting. If a restaurant offers a section for special instructions, they should make the effort to follow them or at least let customers know if they can't. Unfortunately, this ruined the meal and the overall experience. I would not recommend this place until they improve their attention to detail and customer service.
