We came here for breakfast around 10am on a Saturday and got seated right away. Our waitress was friendly. I ordered the spinach eggs Benedict with potatoes and it was delicious! I also tried the fresh-squeezed orange juice and omg that was amazing. I ordered an iced coffee and that was alright. We also ordered the crack fries and those were good, but not amazing in my opinion. There is a dirt parking lot and both indoor and outdoor seating. There is also a bar area inside. read more

ooooof the atmosphere here was capital U uncomfortable. between the crosses, the statues of deceased US Generals (George Washington is staring right at me as I write this), and all the Marshall's generic wall art, this is somewhere I'd rather order from than sit in on. all that to say, the food was pretty good for its price! I got the breakfast sandwich with avocado and tomato and it was pretty filling! the cheese really matched the vibe of the establishment though if we're being honest. however the mimosa was very juice forward but that may just be an Andie issue. and above all my waitstaff was lovely and attentive! granted I was the only patron in the restaurant, but she was constantly checking on me and was very accommodating for my requests! read more

Visited Toast on MLK Day to pass some time while we were waiting to get in to Lost Dutchman State Park. First off, their space is so cute! There's a bar and lots of seating in the main restaurant. They also had an outside patio overlooking the lot. The atmosphere felt very homey, overall! Their menu consisted of breakfast classics and some with Mexican flair. I ordered the chilaquiles and my boyfriend ordered the breakfast burrito. Both were good, but not extraordinary! The chilaquiles could have some extra spice to them - whether it is the salsa itself or the chicken tinga. The burrito on the menu said that there would be avocado slices, and it came with a single slice on the top of the burrito. Next time, I will order something on the American side of the menu - pancakes looked yummy! The wait staff was super friendly. They informed us and other folks that they don't allow outside food/drink (context: I had an energy drink when I walked in), and they kindly asked us if we could put it back in our cars others could hold it up front - which I was happy to do! Well, my friend and I decided to go back It's been a while. I had the Carne Asada eggs Benedict I messed up. I had my eggs over easy when I should've had them poached but other than that everything was delicious got served by the boss so she was right there for everything we needed service was awesome. My son chose this option while we were in town for a car repair on Friday morning. First impression was that it seems super cute: outside dining with stylish curtains to block sun, and colorful interior. When I sat down I was blasted by the air and blinded by the sun. I moved to one side of the booth and it was better. Then, I attempted to order French toast and was told they ran out of brioche and the bread delivery was late. So I decided on biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs. I prefer my scrambled eggs in pieces instead of one piece (see photo). Gravy wasn't horrible but I didn't taste much of any seasoning. Biscuits were dry and not buttery. Bacon was good. My son barely ate his pancakes which is very unusual. We all thought it was strange to get Italian sausage instead of a traditional breakfast sausage link as a side. My mom ate her food but it didn't look great. Hashbrowns looked undercooked. Breakfast scramble was served with cherry tomatoes versus diced tomatoes. Another disappointment was having to ask for ketchup and syrup numerous times because they only bring small containers to the table instead of the full containers or carafes. Lastly, we spent over $60 on a meal we barely touched. Service was good. Waitress checked on us regularly and was very polite and nice. I think they're attempting to be high end in somewhat of a dumpy area and the recipes are not good enough to deserve the prices. Don't waste your time or money. read more

An absolute dime of a place in a location where there is not a ton of options. Seems like a bit of a hole in the rock, but seriously one of my favorite breakfast places I've been to. The servers were extremely friendly, nice little bar area to sit at as well. The food looked terrific and can confirm it tasted just how it looked. The Scrambles were their popular item and favorites. Portion size doesn't disappoint. Will definitely be back! read more

We went there today after a morning of Emission Testing on the Truck. I was glad that we thought about this place before we ended up going back to Mesa. We both had the Eggs My Way and everything was great. Coffee refilled and waitress came by to see how things were at least 3-4 times. Eggs, Bacon and Hashbrowns were cooked great. I really enjoy this place. It could really have a nice view if the little area outside was cleaned up a little. Directly outside restaurant is very clean, just some debris over in wash area that obstructs the great desertscape. We will be back!! Our waitress was very good and always had a smile on her face. The one dish that stood out weeks later is the bananas foster pancakes. It was so delicious. Everything else didn't stand out compared to that dish. The coffee was all right, since I didn't realize it came with a bunch of whipped cream. The eggs Benedict with bacon was solid. The service was good and friendly. I never get tired of Toast Gio. Their breakfast has a broad lead over their their local breakfast spots specific to the food quality and flavor. While other breakfast spots may serve a larger portion, they are normally coated in too much sodium. TG gets it just right every time. I will note the service was slow on my most recent visit but still a 5 star for overall food quality. Don't be afraid to try their cocktails either - really a step above others. read more

With Kristy and we were hungry for breakfast before grocery shopping. This cute restaurant is not far at all from my house! We didn't have long to wait for a booth since it was just us two and we got great service. Our waitress was very nice and accomodating. Had our drinks filled and checked on us a lot. Both of us ordered the Chiliquiles. Turns out I know the girls who bus tables here since I used to work with their mom! Small world! This is a great place. The service and environment were not pleasant. I sat at the bar, next to a pile of dirty glasses and waited a few minutes for the bartender to acknowledge me. I remained hopeful because the reviews of the food and pictures looked awesome, but I was dissapointed. I could have made the Gio's favorite sandwich better at home! It lacked flavor and was served on boring white toast. Also, please be advised that the breakfast sandwich is not served with a side, which is peculiar because half of the plate is empty! So, I ended up ordering a side of potatoes. I also ordered one Nutella pancake but was surprised when they brought out the pancake with two Nutella packets on the side, I didn't realize it was "top your own pancake" style. The pancake itself was the best thing I had, it was fluffy and the syrup added good flavor. Although located close to my home, I will not be back. I'd rather go to my local First Watch, chain breakfast place. read more

We did a hike at Silly Mountain Park and found this place. Had fantastic food and drinks. My Bloody Maria was excellent. Perfect spice and citrus balance. My Divorced Benedict has delicious. All enjoyed our food. We had Heidi's rancheros, avocado toast, breakfast and toast burritos and the corned beef skillet. Everyone loved it. Price is fair too!l. Best of all was Michelle our server. Stopped in for a bite to eat this morning and was very pleased with the service and food! The restaurant was busy, but we were quickly greeted and offered a smile. I love all the Knick knacks and different fun things around the restaurant making for a very homey feel. After a short wait, we were seated in a booth. We had multiple people stop by our table throughout the visit, all very happy to help and with pleasant smiles. Our server was Carly and she was an absolute gem. It was my first time in, but not for my cousin and uncle who I was dining with. Carly made me feel at home and like we had been good pals for years. The coffee, Bloody Mary, and biscuits with gravy meal were all so delicious! Carly was more than happy to allow me to customize my meal, subbing eggs for breakfast potatoes and bacon in place of the sausage which typically comes. It's nice to not feel like an inconvenience when you are wanting to change up a menu item. The coffee was served in unique mugs which I absolutely adored! Jamie stopped by for a chat and shared a story behind the mugs which made my heart happy as we all had mentioned how we love that the mugs differ from each other. Absolutely a 5/5 star experience. Toast has been a delight to visit since going their first week opened. I've enjoyed breakfast the last couple of years, but had the pleasure of trying lunch for the first time & loved the burger! Don't sleep on lunch at this brunch spot. Carly, Jamie, Blanca, and all the staff make amazing food become a great dining experience! They are so friendly, remember my order, and suggest options when I'm feeling adventurous! Love having a quick chat while I enjoy the quant, festively decorated dining room or bar seating. 10/10! My husband and I came for the first time around 10 am on a Sunday. We barely beat the rush but are so grateful that we came. The staff greet you with friendly faces & you can tell they all work very hard to accommodate the flow of traffic. It can seem a little crowded but my husband and I both agreed it makes the experience "homey." What a great 1st experience! We sat at the bar. Danielle was tending the bar. She was friendly and fun and knowledge re: the menu/drinks ect. We ordered a mimosa & Bloody Mary. Both were really good & cold! Food was awesome! I had the Eggs Benedict & my Hubs had the chicken fried steak. I ordered the the hash browns and my husband ordered the home fries. Both were fresh & crispy, not the deep fried nuggets some places serve.(Thank you chefs!) We can't wait to return! All the staff were very friendly. Came all the way from Phoenix to try this place.Delicious food and our server Mareena was the sweetest!

Hostess was very friendly and tried to work with my family and I. We requested patio seating and didn't mind waiting as we have a service animal. We were asked to show credentials which was not the worst part. After review the owner was playing messenger with the hostess which violated the ADA ( American Disablity Act) under US department of justice. We were asked what disability the animal was for. This treatment should not be given to anyone. Do not recommend this restaurant if you are disabled with a service animal! read more
