Between 3 and 4 so rating up - toast was a cute little place. More of your typical breakfast place (some items could be a little pricier than expected but ya know .. today's economy). Anyways, the toast did look good in pictures but the crème brûlée (the one we got) fell a little flat , I'd probably try the tiramisu one. Staff was super nice and quick! Wait times also weren't too bad which is great when you ar hungry for brunch!

Went here last weekend to celebrate my friend's birthday with a group of 8 (plus a toddler!) the day before Mother's Day, so we already expected a wait. We called ahead and were quoted about an hour, but ended up waiting closer to 2 hours after checking in. Honestly though, with the holiday weekend and our big group, we understood. While waiting outside, they had Jenga and Connect 4 set up, which was a nice touch and definitely helped pass the time. The restaurant itself had a lively brunch atmosphere and was clearly packed all morning. Once we got seated, our server Ryan took care of us right away. She got our drinks and food orders in quickly, and honestly the turnaround time for everything was surprisingly fast considering how busy it was. Ryan was super fun, attentive, and really matched the energy of our group. She even brought out a little birthday treat for my friend, which was sweet! My friend and I both ordered the "life size" mimosas -- which isn't shocking because of the glass size, but because it's basically a whole bottle of champagne LOL. Huge shoutout to Ryan for recommending the freshly squeezed orange juice because it balanced everything perfectly and wasn't overly sweet at all. I ordered the Mind Your Own Biscuits & Gravy. Solid, classic brunch dish, and the hash browns had an amazing crunch to them. Overall, pretty standard brunch food, but the great service from Ryan really made the experience enjoyable!

Wait is long so remember to join waitlist well before you visit the restaurant. We joined the waitlist around 30 minutes before we arrived and then wait for another 40 minutes onsite. The service is attentive and friendly. Food is really yummy with HUGE portions especially the potatoes. I'd recommend getting a patio seating because the inside is a bit humid and stuffy maybe due to the semi open kitchen.

My experience at Toast was a great one. I made a last-minute reservation for a large party, and the hostess worked with me to secure a reservation close to the time we originally wanted and get us seated in a timely manner. They did seat us separately, which wasn't what we would have preferred; however, we understand that the reservation was made last minute and we were also on a time crunch, so getting seated quickly was a priority. I know it's not easy accommodating a large group, especially on a busy day, and given our time constraints, I was initially nervous about whether we would be seated and served on time. However, the staff was organized, patient, and friendly throughout, and everything ran smoothly. Despite how busy it was, we received our food promptly, and everything came out well-presented and delicious. The chilaquiles were especially flavorful, and the egg omelet and potatoes were also excellent. Our group also ordered the Korean ribs, which were very tasty, and the French toast as well! For drinks, our group wasn't a big fan of the iced coffee, and the mimosa flights were a bit too sweet for my personal preference. I only really enjoyed two out of the four options. That said, they were beautifully presented and very photogenic. One thing we really appreciated was that they accommodated separate checks for such a large group, which made paying much more convenient. The space offers both indoor and outdoor seating. It is on the smaller side, but they still managed to accommodate our group comfortably. Overall, it was a really positive experience, and I'd definitely consider returning.

Very family friendly! Inside and outside seating. The food was great, as well as the ambiance! Service was quick , it does get busy so depending on when you go there is a waitlist. 9/10 definitely a great spot for brunch or Bible study meetup.

Saturday, 6-07-2025: This review is so overdue! This eatery isn't very big but they did have outdoor seating in their spacious side patio. It's a very casual and relaxing ambiance. We had a big group and I was grateful they could accommodate all of us. Of course, I made reservations. This was a nice meet up with our dear family & friends. I do recall we all enjoyed the food and truly appreciated the attentive and absolute care that two servers gave to our large party. We would definitely return. We were impressed with their food and customer service.

Well, here's a toast to Toast!! Me and two friends came here because we were looking for a good brunch spot when passing thru Temecula. We came here because of the good reviews on Yelp, so I thought I would add my own to the menagerie! They were able to seat us on a Friday morning right away and I believe this is because they also have a lovely heated, outdoor seating area. We were very comfortable and happy to enjoy the ambiance outside. I had to try their rose matcha and I was so very pleased with both the presentation and taste. It looked and tasted special, especially with the dried rose garnish. Another unique menu item was the Reuben Benedict. Corned beef is a very big favorite of mine, as is hollandaise sauce and a poached egg. All of it came together beautifully and really deliciously too. The choice of cheese was a very good accompaniment. I got the Parmesan potatoes and they were really tasty too, I did add my own salt, but that was fine because all the other tastes and textures were on point! A special breakfast that was worth a couple extra dollars! For me it's either diner food for breakfast or a special brunch and this fell into the special brunch category and they did a wonderful job. I've been wanting to try this place for a few months now and we were finally able to make it in today. No wait time which was great of course even though they were steadily busy. I bet this place gets insanely busy on the weekends, but it looks like there is the option to join via the Yelp waitlist & I love that. Inside is cute, I really like the booths and their design. There is a one stall restroom for everyone to use, but it was kept pretty tidy so that was great to see. Our food was pretty good, I love corned beef so the Reuben Benedict was perfect, one of us got hash browns and the other go the pecorino potatoes. The pecorino potatoes were good, I think they needed salt in my opinion and they would have been perfect. The portion size was pretty big. I am a big eater and I struggled to finish my food. The crème brûlée french toast was good too. I wasn't a huge fan of the custard in the middle though, there was a lot of it and it was just a bit thick in my opinion. The bread and the syrup with the fresh strawberry were delicious though. I'm excited to come back again and try more menu items. Highly recommend this spot for a brunch outing.

Great breakfast spot. We secured our place in line through their online booking system, nice and easy. Arrived around 10:30 am and it was very crowded, but we had our reservation so we only waited 10 minutes. They have indoor and fully covered outdoor seating. Nice shaded benches for these waiting. Parking wasn't hard to find. A lot of families and people with celebrations making this place an energetic atmosphere. The food and drinks were very delicious. My sister had the chilaquilles and I had the fried chicken yum! The biscuits that came with the fried chicken looked home made and we awesome, so we're the potatoes and gravy.

While in town, I wanted to try this spot for brunch with family and compare to the location or version of it that we have in NY. It didn't disappoint. The menu wasn't overwhelming but had more than enough choices. I probably had the best shrimp and grits in my life so far here. It's a must have if you like shrimp and grits. They have indoor and patio seating which is nice and service was really good even though they were busy for a weekday brunch meal. I highly recommend stopping in if you're in the Temecula area.

We had a pleasant breakfast this morning at Toast. The cookies and cream cold brew was very sweet and chocolatey for the chocolate lovers. So good. The steak and eggs were cooked perfectly and very flavorful. I don't think there's anything you could try on the menu that wouldn't be delicious. It's a great place to come and have a nice breakfast. We will be back!

First time ever coming to this location since the Murrieta one near me is still closed. The hostess was friendly and we were greeted and seated quickly, opted for the patio seating and the hostess turned on the heater for us since it was still cool in the AM. I ordered an iced toasted coconut latte (unfortunately, not as good as the Murrieta location, it was very watered down) and then the Aloha Bowl which I don't ever remember seeing these bowls on the menu and it seemed to be a twist on a Loco Moco. We have a hard time finding Portuguese sausage, so I was very excited except the rice was undercooked (hard and crunchy) and while I was not asked how I wanted my burger cooked, I am okay with medium rare, but my patty was borderline raw. I thought I wouldn't like the pineapple mixed in with the gravy, but the pieces were so tiny, it was almost non existent. The service was decent, although our waitress only checked in on us once during our whole visit until it was time to drop off the check. It was a so-so visit overall, but I can't wait for our Murrieta location to reopen again!

This was my first time at this restaurant. I decided to try out the cinnamon maple toast latte, and it was good but not something I would get again. I also got the crabcake Benedict, which I just don't think that was a good pick for me because the crabcake was very mushy. My boyfriend got the toast burger and he seemed to like it a lot. There was just a lot of onions so he removed them off. I would like to try some other things on the menu, but overall the ambience was very nice sitting outside. The weather was great as well as our server was very friendly and fast as well.

Nothing on this plate tasted authentic or fresh.

Did a search on Yelp for gluten-free breakfast and Toast came up. It had good reviews. So, we decided to try it. I had a Ruben Benedict on gluten-free bread. My husband had the gluten-free pancakes. Absolutely delicious. I wish we had a Toast in our town. read more

We had a wonderful brunch at Toast while taking a wine tasting trip to Temecula for my birthday. The wait was approximately an hour but worth it. We shared the "Life Sized Mimosa" between two of us and they were very generous. We all enjoyed our meal and the service was great. read more

The creme brûlée French toast was amazing! This place is worth that wait. I ordered a side of scrambled eggs for a little protein, but the meal was spot on. I started with a mimosa flight that consisted of apricot, strawberry, pineapple, and blood orange. I am not a big mover of apricot, but the apricot mimosa was really good along with the others. I also tried a michelada, and their in house mix was spot on and a great combination with the beer. My friend got the chicken fried chicken and loved it as well. It came with biscuits layered at the bottom, potato, chicken and gravy. This place is a must try! read more

Lots of people waiting when we pulled up. But the wait time we were quoted was right on. Service was good. Food took a little bit to get out to us but that was expected due to the amount of patrons. Food was delicious and prices were right on. Had the crab cake Benedict and shrimp and gritz. Kids pancake plate was a good amount of food for my little ones. Lived in Temecula 10 years and just found this awesome place! What an incredible first time experience. Thank you! Got a table "of one" since my family was away in Japan. Greeted so gleefully at the front doors and by my waitress. All the subtle things were great, fresh flower, immaculate table with appearance of sterile table top, yet, warm and cozy like home. Got there when only one table with patrons and got busier as I finished. Coffee was so elegantly presented with a small biscotti and really too fancy, but I indulged. I am a coffee neophyte, but best darn black coffee with the subtle reminisce of fresh coffee grounds on the bottom of the perfect sized glass cup. Glass-hmmm-the new Cinderella breakfast story-ha ha ha. Because of my previous day indoor rock climbing/bouldering was intense, I needed a hearty breakfast, so got steak & eggs with side of fruit with sourdough toast. What an incredible breakfast. So yummy. Loved everything about it. I think I must have been in euphoria because in the background music was "Snap-The Power" and reminded me of so many good times in the clubs in Boston, MA. I cranked on other party tunes and this really was "The Breakfast Club"? Ha ha ha. Finished the breakfast off with the fresh fruit that was so palpable, and well put together. Flavors were eloquently matched. I split the mint leaves in small bites purposefully for each type of fruit. What a great way to cleanse the palate. Great spot for breakfast! Came in on valentines day and the wait was 40 mins. Ive been to the Temecula location and liked it so we came here since we were closer to this location. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very nice and attentive. Chilaquiles were great and the ahi poke bowl was okay. This place was just ok...not amazing or horrible but just right there in the middle. Service was good and friendly even if we did have to ask for things that should have just been automatic (salt & pepper, jelly for toast). I got the Mind Your Own Biscuits & Gravy and everything was delicious but it needed more gravy. My mom ordered the Corned Beef Skillet and she liked it. I'd eat here again and hope the food was better/amazing next time. The parking here is pretty busy, obviously they have no control over that but it would definitely be something to deter me from coming back. read more

I was finally able to get into this spot and I loved it. I want to thank my lovely waitress Haley, girl your customer service was amazing. Thank you for everything. Haley has such an awesome personality and was happy to help me choose between dishes to enjoy because I was for sure struggling on what to pick lol. Let me not forget to mention the other staff, they were also very nice and Toast for sure is a welcoming and such a fun environment and the music choices...love love loved it . Ended up in Temecula for brunch and we chose this place. It was pretty busy on a Sunday at around noon--the wait was estimated for 30-45min, but it was more like 20. It was a little cramped inside, unfortunately, but we didn't feel like waiting for an outdoor table to open up. The original Bloody Mary I ordered was a little watery, not as flavorful as I would have preferred, but the food was great--we got shrimp and grits and the corned beef skillet. The taro latte was exceptional as well. Overall, I'd come back! read more

Make sure to call ahead for wait time.. mh family scored with a 5 minute wait time. Best brunch we have had in years. Our server Terrell was great, he forgot two things order and was quick with updating the check to reflect the price. Food tasted great... my aunt loves her French toast ( apple pie with a scoop of a vanilla icw cream, my radical stack was the perfect thing to have after Lent. Oh and don't let me forget the Life size mimosa.... you can choose your juice (strawberry, peach, mango apricot) I choose strawberry but next visit I'm getting mango (my usual) I'm giving 4 stars as a server myself when you forget items order and they are received near the end if the meal I automatically disregard those items in the bill. Yes I know every restaurant is different but some things are just good business practice. We will be back soon Niki and her party of 6 read more

Grabbed breakfast here and what a great find! Got there early and seated right away. Our server was Haley and she was awesome! The food was fantastic. I had a BYO omelette and it was by far THE BEST omelette I've ever had....and I'm super picky. The coffee was tasty as was the cute little biscotti it came with. Icing on the cake was the 90's music selection playing at a pleasant volume. I will for sure be coming back. Thanks for the enjoyable breakfast! Great way to kick off the weekend ahead of hitting up a few of the local wineries. read more

This place is always so yummy! Today we tried the new coffee flight. DEFINITELY recommend! It was a fun change from your alcoholic flights:) I also had the Crabcake Benedict. I loved the hollandaise sauce with the capers. The bread was the soft French bread which helped with the cutting but I miss the chew on the harder French bread for the texture difference. The eggs were beautifully poached and the crab cake itself was yummy but mostly breading. I prefer more crab in mine but I will say they are priced accordingly. Usually more crab will come with a higher price tag than just $16. The pecorino potatoes are an excellent choice for a side. I really enjoyed those. Hubby had the build your own omelette. Great size portion and plenty of cheese. Daughter was in love with the French toast dippers! It's a lot of food for a 5 year old so she didn't finish but she did over-stuff herself! We have also had the avocado toast and chiliquiles on separate occasions along with the fancy Bloody Mary. Everything, and I mean everything, is always sooooo good here!! Please come and try this place out, come early because you WILL wait, you'll love it!! read more

Absolutely top shelf service and food! A random Thursday morning impromptu stop for breakfast. The menu is diverse but not cluttered, excellent renditions of classics! The Rueben Benedict eggs was my choice this morning, delivered quickly, maybe 10 minutes from order to table! Amazing flavors! House cured corn beef and Russian hollandaise sauce with perfect poached eggs, my compliments to the chef!Excellent coffee and a mimosa makes this stop a great way to start the day! Kudos to Dawn my server for handling a full dining room, attentive to my needs but not hovering! Highly recommend an early arrival for weekends as this place is popular!! read more

After exploring some options for breakfast before heading back home, I was excited to find a place with some Hispanic variety and not just your typical breakfast dishes. Setting: Inside is fairly busy with an outdoor patio area as well. There are plenty of heat lamps if you do choose to sit outside which I preferred seeing how busy/loud it was inside. Service: The staff were all very welcoming and never hesitated when someone from our party needed anything. Food: I didn't really feel like "breakfast" so i opted to get the very talked about chilequiles verde. The portion is bigger than it looks, trust me, you'll get full. Flavor-wise it was pretty bland for myself and my friend, luckily they had tapatio and cholula to give it the flavor it needed. I did not get to try my friends creme brulee french toast but it looked beautiful. Overall: Definitely an excellent choice to grab coffee, and not just your traditional breakfast food. read more

First off our server tyler (I think his name was) was super attentive, came by multiple times to ask how we were doing. The radical stack was pretty good, lots of different meats (burger patty, pork belly, ham). So was the french toast. The corned beef hash was good too but out of the 8 small cubes of corned beef, 2 of them were just straight fat. Don't order the viet coffee, it's not authentic viet coffee. Toast opened in Dec. 2017. As a family, we have seen a need for craft food in our area. After opening a successful restaurant in Old Town Temecula, 1909, we wanted to offer an all day brunch/lunch spot to guests in South Temecula. Our valley is notorious for chain restaurants, but we wanted to offer from scratch food made with love. Our family restaurant is truly a labor of love. From the tables, to the paintings, to the decor, all of it has been done by a family member or employee of one of our restaurants. We care nothing more about involving everyone in our restaurants! Toast is a family owned business. This is our 2nd location (1st is 1909 in Old Town Temecula). What was most disappointing was not the fight itself, as businesses cannot always control the actions of every customer, but rather the response from the staff and management. When I expressed concern to our server(blondish curly hair female), I was told that "fights happen here all the time." That response was shocking and provided no reassurance whatsoever. Instead of acknowledging the seriousness of the situation or checking on guests who had just been exposed to a violent altercation, the comment normalized the behavior and dismissed legitimate safety concerns. I then requested to speak with a manager. The first manager who came to our table (male, shaggy blackish upper cheek bone length hair, older, Caucasian) would not provide his name, offered no apology, and showed no concern for the impact the incident had on our dining experience. There was no attempt to reassure guests, address the situation professionally, or acknowledge that customers had just been exposed to a frightening and disruptive event. Fortunately, another manager, Evan, later came to speak with us. Evan was the only person who demonstrated empathy and professionalism. He acknowledged that the situation was upsetting, offered reassurance, and took the time to listen to my concerns. He also chose to comp a portion of the bill ($19), which, while appreciated, was not really the issue. The issue was safety, accountability, and customer care. Restaurants have a responsibility to create an environment where patrons feel safe. While no establishment can prevent every incident, management can absolutely control how they respond when violence occurs. Guests who express fear or concern deserve to be heard, acknowledged, and treated with respect. Dismissing concerns or acting as though violent incidents are routine is unacceptable. I appreciate Evan's professionalism, but the overall response from the server and initial manager left me with serious concerns about how customer safety concerns are handled at this establishment.

What a fantastic eating experience at Toast Temecula! From beginning to end, every part of our experience was nothing short of spectacular. Our taste buds were treated to a delectable symphony of flavors that really wowed us. I chose the Corned Beef Skillet, and it was a choice I will never regret. The pecorino potatoes, bell peppers, onions, brussel sprouts, and garlic nicely matched the delicate and savory house-cured corned beef. Mu husband and I ate Toast, and while the experience had potential, it ultimately fell short in several key areas. To start, our visit began on a positive note with a pleasant hostess who graciously escorted us to our seats. The restaurant's ambiance was quaint, giving it a cozy feel that one might enjoy on a leisurely breakfast outing. However, the service was inconsistent. My husband and I perused the menu for quite sometime, before or waitress showed up, but she seemed somewhat flighty. She would pop in occasionally, only to disappear for prolonged periods. Unfortunately, this led to a few slip-ups, such as forgetting our extra items. The culmination of this was evident when we requested our check, only for her to head on break without addressing our request. At that point, we had to wait for another staff member to assist us with payment. The food experience was equally disappointing. The biscuits and gravy lacked flavor, rendering them bland and uninspired. Additionally, the avocado toast, priced at $19, seemed over-the-top as it was overloaded with toppings--a waste when the essence of the dish is simplicity. It was served on a bed of salad, but that didn't add much value given the overall taste. Overall, I would rate this restaurant with 3.5 stars. While the food was really good, there were a couple of issues that detracted from the overall experience. First, my pancakes were served cold, which was a disappointment. However, my husband's chicken sandwich was hot and well-prepared, so there was a bit of inconsistency in the food quality. The atmosphere of the restaurant could also be improved. The metal chairs used in the seating area created a lot of scraping noise on the concrete floor every time someone moved them, which was distracting and disruptive to the dining experience. Adding felt pads or rubber to the bottom of the chairs could help to minimize this noise. Despite these issues, the restaurant still had a lot of positives. The food overall was really good, and the portions were generous. Additionally, the restaurant had a cozy and welcoming ambiance, with friendly staff who were attentive to our needs. Toast in Temecula was a fantastic spot for a brunch outing with a larger group. We had a reservation but it was Father's Day so it was quite crowded. They did their best to seat us as soon as they could. Our waitress was an absolute gem! Super friendly, attentive, and made sure everyone felt welcome and comfortable. Now, onto the good stuff - the food! I had the avocado toast and it was delightful. I usually don't order Avocado Toast for brunch but this one looked so good I had to give it a try. Tons of fresh toppings and I opted to add an egg. Everyone in our group raved about their dishes, from the French toast to the Lox and loaded. Toast Temecula is a great option for a casual breakfast or brunch, especially with a group. The food is delicious, the service is friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. Stumbled upon this gem t9day and can't say anything more than...amazing! Service is top notch. From the host, to our server, to the other servers that helped, everyone was friendly and helpful. Food is great as well! We ordered the radical stack, crab cake eggs benny, raspberry latte and the farm bloody Mary. All were outstanding. The radical stack is huge so you definitely didn't need a side. The farm is a meal within itself. One of the best bloody marys we've tried. The crab cake eggs benny were cooked to perfection and the caper hollandaise (I think that is what is on it) is delicious. Decor is also outstanding. We had to wait about 15 or so minutes to get in, but food was worth the wait for sure. read more

im not one to leave reviews often.. but I've been coming to toast regularly for years with my parents. We've celebrated many milestones in our lives here. they are recently under new management and all I can say is that this place is going downhill extremely fast. the food has had a drastic change in quality, the new servers are less friendly and attentive. This restaurant used to ooze friendliness , familiar friendly faces, consistency and community. Lately, that's completely gone. I hope ownership takes a step back and seriously reevaluates the direction they're taking. before they lose the loyal customers who helped build this business in the first place. I ordered the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. Nice presentation for my meal & others passing by. Quite impressive. We had a lovely person stop by to inquire if everything was to our satisfaction...it was. Decent breakfast joint. Very overhyped but I still like the place. Service: 3 Price: 3 Food: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Be prepared for very long and inaccurate wait times to get seated and to receive food. Price is fair, but for a breakfast place a little pricy. Food is good. Would recommend the eggs Benedicts it is delicious. Would not recommend French toast. Food here better than your standard breakfast places, they know how to actually cook breakfast... if you order the right things. If you can get seated inside it is very loud and crowded. We did not want to seat in the patio cause it was very sunny and hot. I would recommend everyone to try it at least once. read more

We went for the first time and they had ample outdoor seating set up with umbrellas to shield from the heat wave. There was a wait but they were doing their best to get people in. The food was delicious! This will definitely be our new go-to brunch spot. They had a little bit of everything to accommodate foodies and those that want more traditional fare! My boyfriend had the Tiramisu French toast and I had the Crab Cake Benedict. Both were delicious and beautiful! I also had the mimosa flight and it was so pretty with all the colors and all were crisp and refreshing. Everything was decently priced as well for California! Definitely recommend! read more

I was hesitant to try but had heard good things about it. They were right. It was a little loud, it was a little cramped, but the food and the service were worth it. When you walk in the door, you notice the ivy wall and the high booths. The keg beer wall also catches the eye. The tables are too close together and if the whole place wasn't so loud, you could definitely hear the neighboring tables conversation. That was really the only bad part of our experience there. Service was great (Terrel) and he had good selections to offer. Food was reasonably priced and was the exact right portion for my appetite. We will be back again soon. read more

First time I ate here was with a friend and the food was ok, atmosphere was busy crowded and the staff was busy but pleasant. The second time was the same but took a while for service and food was cold. The last time I was waiting for a table for over an hour, service was slow and thry had forgotten my order then when it arrived it was deseased. Got a twinge when I first tasted my mimosa and couldn't eat more than a single bite of my custom breakfast burrito. Was stomach sore with diarrhea for the rest of the day. A busy place with acoustics that do not favor easy conversation with table mates. But the food and accommodating service more than made up for the overly energetic atmosphere. Everything from coffee to mimosas. Biscuits and gravy with chicken! French toast mixed with an apple pie topping! I love it all. I can't wait to eventually try the entire menu. So delicious! One of the tastiest restaurants I've ever been too! The wait was only 25 minutes. Very friendly staff very nice restaurant and there was plenty of room outside patio dining area and inside. Food was super delicious! Everything from coffee to mimosas, biscuits and gravy with chicken! French toast mixed with an apple pie topping! I love it all. Overall great brunch experience. I was so excited about this new breakfast spot opening. I wanted to love it. I wanted another place to eat when in this town. Boy was I beyond disappointed. It was 10 minutes after we were seated before anyone even acknowledged us. Then, it was another 15 minutes after we ordered our drinks before they finally made it to our table. We recently visited Toast Temecula for the first time and absolutely loved it! We're regulars at the Murrieta location, so it was great to support the Temecula spot and see familiar faces while Murrieta is temporarily closed. The food was amazing, and the holiday cocktails were delicious. My husband especially loved the Shot for Tots specialty shot even better knowing the proceeds go to charity.
