The reason for writing this review is twofold. First, I want to share my experience with everyone who may be considering Toast Tours. Second and most importantly, I wanted to thank Toast Tours for a wonderful and memorable experience, from beginning to end. My Wife and I were making our first visit to the Central Coast, and decided that visiting some local wineries would be a nice way to get more acquainted with the area. I liked some of the reviews I had seen on Yelp regarding Toast Tours, as well as watching a a few quick YouTube vids before contacting them. From the very start, Kristina was a huge help. Thank you again. I conveyed some of what were looking to do on this trip, as well as our past experiences in Napa and Sonoma. Kristina did a masterful job of giving us options. Some more mainstream and like we have experienced before, as well as some smaller, boutique style options. Every question, she had an answer and suggestion for, and when we decided to book, I was confident in our choices. Toast Tours also takes care of the reservations, so that's one less thing to worry about as well. We chose to visit three wineries; Tablas, DAOU, and Ciento. All three were an amazing experience (I'll write more about those individually on their pages). I do want to highlight Ciento, however. This was a direct recommendation from Kristina, and they really stole the show. We would have never known or visited this wonderful winery if it wasn't for Kristina and Toast Tours. Our driver, Jimmy, was on time and extremely courteous. He has a wealth of wine knowledge, as well as local area knowledge, and he shared them in a fun and engaging way. He was a great help at each of the wineries, getting us in and out with our reservations, while also assising with our purchases. Thanks again, Jimmy!. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, and they provide water and some small snacks, if needed. Another thing I want to mention that was very nice as well is the price. While these types tours can be a bit pricey at times, I feel their rates are more than reasonable. Kristina itemizes everything beforehand, so there are no surprises. If you decide to make some small changes to the itinerary, Toast Tours will work with you, and give you the cost differential. Exceptional service from top to bottom, and I would gladly and confidently book with Toast Tours again..

We went up north to Paso Robles, and wanted to do a wine tour, but we had our dogs with us. We did a little bit of research and found Toast Tours and they accommodate people that have their fur babies with them! Jennifer was our driver extraordinaire and she came to pick us up in a beautiful large van that had plenty of room for three adults and two doggos. She had great stories and was very knowledgeable about the area and wine with a good local vibe lol She kept us on track and had really great advice for us as well. AND she has horses . We highly recommend and would definitely do this again!

Wow just wow. Toast Tours really hit it out of the park. Jimmy, our guide, was amazing and so knowledgeable. He gave us insights on all the places we picked. He gave us great recommendations for dinner places and held great conversation. Thank you for making our birthday trip amazing

Toast Tours is something special. From the ease of booking and flexibility to the personable tour guides. Kristina and her team truly make you feel like an old friend. I have booked multiple tours with Toast Tours and they never disappoint. The team takes the guesswork out of trying to plan an eventful day in Paso Robles. Lori was amazing during our Tin City Walking Tour. She fit in with our group seamlessly. Madison arrived promptly to pick us up and was very kind to have water and snacks prepared for our trip. Kristina was so attentive in ensuring we made it back to where we stayed. All in all... AMAZING. I plan on booking any further tours of Paso Robles with Toast Tours.

The staff here were so friendly and knowledgeable, their love of the rescue animals came through to how they shared this with us and the large group of kids. Programming might be unique but we had meet and greet of various animals, a night hike at a ranch next door, and tent set up / camping overnight. Lots of rare animals including kangaroos, bald eagles, capybara, spider monkey, python, etc Unique up close experiences including feeding kangaroos bread and bananas, feeding capybara corn and lettuce, holding a tarantula, petting a porcupine, alligator, river otters hunt for live fish, etc Facilities included clean bathroom/shower, kitchen area with running water, fridge, grill, fire pit, shaded central hang out area with couches, picnic tables, kids games, and parking. Also super kid friendly with sand play area, train ride. Also two onsite "tents" Highly recommend checking this out - does require a booking. Note that a single family can book for a private experience.

Spoiler-wise - I was very happy that I did not read too many reviews prior to our visit. The surprise of meeting each animal was a delight, and probably would not have been as joyful if I knew what to expect or was expecting to meet a specific animal that was not part of the tour. Don't read further if you'd like to have a similar experience as us! *** We arrived early and were immediately greeted by Lisa, an animal caretaker veteran who runs the rescue with her husband. I obviously did not do enough research because I expected more guests, but quickly realized that it was just our small group of 2. Lisa purposely keep tours to a smaller group to reduce stress to the animals. Lisa was incredibly knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and clearly passionate about her work. She made us feel comfortable right away, and tailors the tour based off her observations of us, the guests. We interacted with owls, a hawk, river otters, a talking raven, teenage capybaras, an elder spider monkey, a sloth, a laughing kookaburra, an armadillo, a ruffled lemur, and many more critters! Each animal interacted with us on their own accord. She never forced an animal to do something they did not want to. After the tour, she welcomed us to explore the facilities and we saw some warthogs, eagles, and a fennec fox. All I can say is that the price was worth it! My childhood dreams of being a zookeeper fulfilled.

And these are much less crowded view points than the main one. Another tip - sunsets along this trail are positively magical too! The Pacific coast along this trail is packed full of giant boulders for the waves to crash against- just gorgeous views all around. And bonus - you get to see the Piedras Blancas Lighthouse from several different angles and view points too! You'll see lots of wildlife too - ground squirrels, tons of birds, definitely Elephant Seals, and sea otters if you're lucky and have a good eye. AllTrails says this trail is just over 5 miles with 252 feet elevation gain. I honestly didn't notice any elevation gain - seemed flat to me but probably bc it's so gradual. The trailhead is located at the larger, paved parking lot in the main Elephant Seal vista point (the north view point). From that location, it's about 2 miles to the end. There's a lovely, more wild beach area at the end of the trail that puts you pretty close to the seals too. It's fenced for their safety (and you're lol) but the views are fantastic. The trail can get muddy in places but they installed boards and bridges in those spots - it's pretty well maintained. No bugs in winter either. But my understanding is it gets pretty buggy in summer and watch out for ticks! Parking is in the two lots for the "Elephant Seal vista point" and is free and ample. There are no bathrooms anywhere around here so be prepared.
