    Green Machine Smoothie
    Beth H.

I forgot about this place until coming across out for a walk on this beautiful day. I popped in to see their grab bottles but ordered a green machine smoothie instead. The gal was nice though looked like she was run ragged. Poor thing. It's a tiny place but it does have some seating. I was surprised how ridiculously warm it was in there for it being bright and 74 outside. Maybe it's the machines kicking off all the heat. Great vibe to the spot. I can't wait to go back to try some of the toasts and bowls but I'll be sure to get takeout. The menu looked delicious. The smoothie I had was excellent and made to order.

Tried this place a couple of times. Staff is very welcoming and they were quick with turnaround. The toast is artistically assembled and pretty tasty. The drinks were also good, but not really a wow. However the prices are pretty steep so not really a place that I can afford to frequent regularly.

Solid spot! And I'm happy I tried it! I may not be a frequent visitor as the prices for what I would have as a breakfast feel a little on the higher end. (Toast + juice came out to ~$25 before tax and tip.) HOWEVER! I do recommend the toast and think it has good value for the price! I tried the Smoked Salmon ($15) and it exceeded expectations. The size is pretty large and there was a generous amount of salmon on top. Presentation was beautiful! On the messier end so the knife and fork was helpful (and pretty). It was delicious and filling without sitting heavily. I would maybe skip the juice next time. I got the Metabolize ($9.50) and don't get me wrong, it's good! But just personally skippable for me. This one had cucumber, jalapeño, pineapple, apple, and mint. The sweet fruit flavors are more forward, the cucumber adding some refreshing balance. Mint and jalapeño are more subtle. Bright interior and friendly counter service. They do have WiFi and there were a few folks on their laptops while I was there.

This was such a delicious toast. A quick and healthy breakfast and it really hit the spot. The service was fast and the vibes of Toastique were so cute! I will definitely be back soon! It looks like they have some summer specials which really sound enticing!

Avocado Smash Toast, Latte, Soup Of The Day - Sweet Potato and Black bean chili

This is one of my favorite places to start the day. I visited this location for the very first time recently and was not disappointed. The variety of filling toasts, bowls, juices and smoothies is very welcoming and can appeal to those that like their day to start with fresh options and can appeal to those with more simple taste buds versus those that can appreciate the complexity of gourmet options. I had the avocado toast which was amazing and while one could be surprised by $14 toast, the composition made it worth it to me. This location also served a vegetable chili made of sweet potato and black beans which is indeed a favorite. I'm so happy that this location opened in Michigan. It was my go to spot in another state. The dining room is on the smaller scale and they do have excess furniture that I presumed would normally sit outside that is piled up in a corner which somewhat distracts from the minimalist environment. But other than that, the natural finishes and clean design make the space inviting.

Great place for a light breakfast. I am not a huge breakfast person and often have a hard time finding a meal that is light yet filling enough to sustain me until lunch but this place was spot on. And it was delicious to boot!! Most items are made to order so depending on staffing and time of day may not be best for a super quick option though you can order ahead on their website. Would recommend and would come again!

Owner was humble, pleasant and a vibe! Loved her recommendations and her customer service! Cold brew smoothie was amazing and my daughter got a smoothie bowl and was extremely pleased as well! Look forward to trying more items!

I can't speak on anything else but the avocado smash toast-holy lemon! Visually appealing but flavors were not it-especially for $16

    Dragonfruit bowl
    Lisa V.

Wow! Presentation is amazing. I got a smoothie bowl but after seeing some toasts come out, I will be back asap! Bowl was tasty (I got the dragon fruit one) only complaint on it was kiwi was too big to fit on the spoon and eat- I would suggest cutting slices in half. The peach prosciutto and burrata special toast looks unreal good! They just opened a few days ago and deducted a star only to the fact it took 15 min or so to get my bowl. I'm sure once they have a few weeks and months to acclimate and less crowds from grand opening, it will improve!

    OG Açaí

Delicious & beautiful food! Had the Greek toast and OG Açaí bowl (added their house made peanut butter). Staff was all super friendly and got everything so quick, also enjoyed the calm & inviting energy (:

The main thing Drip House has going for it is that it is effectively the only coffee spot to sit and study or meet someone right by the stadium (where a bunch of us live and/or work). It is also open into the early evening when a lot of other coffee spots aren't. And we do love an outside seating option. The service has always been just fine and it's a pretty cute spot (not to sound ridiculously nit-picky but while we're here--someone might wanna sheer some of the many dead leaves off the beautiful plant inside though). Also, the banana oat latte they had as a special a couple months ago was delicious. So yummy. Some things I don't love about Drip House: the blue chairs. So uncomfortable. It is expensive and, dare I say, overpriced. The first time I got my $14 piece of ricotta toast, it was delicious. And I figured, fine. It's $14 for a piece of bread with a little cheese and jam but it's so yummy, I'll splurge every once in a while and go with it. Plus, I can't eat tree nuts, so it is one of the few options for me. However, the second time I got it, it was most definitely not worth it. The "whipped" ricotta was just a sad, thin wet layer and there was practically no jam. I get it. It's expensive out here. We're living in the shadows of the avocado toast economy where espresso drinks cost minimum $7 and you effectively can't buy anything for less than $4. But just because you feel like you *can* doesn't mean you *should.* Paying $14 for a piece of bread.... Come on. It's insulting. It feels exploitative. Will i be going back? Yes, because of the proximity and sometimes a girl needs to go for a cute little walk to get a coffee--just to feel something. Would I if there was a competing coffee shop nearby? That remains to be seen. Also the size of the "large" iced drink. Come on guys.

Most recently I came here for a meeting, ordering a vanilla latte and a sweet potato hand pie to nibble on since I hadn't eaten yet. The description of the latter sounded so good, sweet potatoes with black beans and a few other veggies, wrapped up in flaky pie dough. The filling, however, was mostly pureed, giving it more of a baby food consistency which I didn't love. The flavor was good though but I couldn't get over the mushy texture. The black beans weren't pureed in but were few and far between (I think I maybe counted 2 or 3?). In addition to my hand pie I also ordered a piece of the billionaire's shortbread but they didn't ring it up/prepare it. By the time I realized it (I had to wait for my hand pie to be heated up) it was only a few minutes before close so I didn't bother going back up to the counter to reorder. IDK if they were just in a hurry to close or genuinely didn't hear my order but it was a bummer since it did look great. The vanilla latte, however, was quite good. And for a coffee shop that's most important. And what they lacked in substantial food options they did make up for in fun, seasonal drink specials and a few sweet treats like cookies and the aforementioned shortbread. The space is very cute, as well, and made for a really comfortable meeting location. So overall I did like my visit here. I just won't be rushing back here if I'm feeling peckish. But for a caffeinated pick me up and a nice place to meet or chill, this definitely fits the bill.

Huh? That's okay because they must have sharp knives that slice easily through bagels. Nope. Might as well try cutting your bagel with a spoon. Because of the difficulty eating the bagels, they weren't finished. My "Cheesy-P" (terrible name) was just heated up in the microwave. Not much effort involved in that. We think our bagels weren't toasted, but heated up in the microwave too. Blah. A little more effort would go a whole lot further.
