Very tasty food. I was in Ann Arbor for Sonic Lunch today, and a friend brought takeout from Toastique which looked fantastic, so my other friend and I went for lunch after the concert. It took a while for the front employee to come out and greet us, but that gave us time to peruse the menu. I asked her if the peach and prosciutto toast or the burrata toast are better, and she said burrata, so that's what I got. I also got one of the summer smoothie specials, with coconut milk. The toast was excellent and the presentation was A+, as well. The only reason I'm giving Toastique 4/5 and not 5/5 is the pricing - $13 isn't too bad for the toast but my 16-oz smoothie was $10, which I wish I knew beforehand, so lunch for me was about $25. It seems like Toastique is a chain, also, but this is the first one in Michigan. Make sure to sign up for rewards, too, as you'll get a free juice when you spend $10. read more

I forgot about this place until coming across out for a walk on this beautiful day. I popped in to see their grab bottles but ordered a green machine smoothie instead. The gal was nice though looked like she was run ragged. Poor thing. It's a tiny place but it does have some seating. I was surprised how ridiculously warm it was in there for it being bright and 74 outside. Maybe it's the machines kicking off all the heat. Great vibe to the spot. Came in on a Saturday the lady at the register was nice but really is putting this place down as a 1 star was the Spice Chai Latte. Firstly the staff forgot about my Latte after I ate my meal it wasn't until I went up to ask and they finally gave me my latte and it was so awful. Solid spot! And I'm happy I tried it! I may not be a frequent visitor as the prices for what I would have as a breakfast feel a little on the higher end. (Toast + juice came out to ~$25 before tax and tip.) HOWEVER! I do recommend the toast and think it has good value for the price! I tried the Smoked Salmon ($15) and it exceeded expectations. The size is pretty large and there was a generous amount of salmon on top. Presentation was beautiful! On the messier end so the knife and fork was helpful (and pretty). It was delicious and filling without sitting heavily. I would maybe skip the juice next time. I got the Metabolize ($9.50) and don't get me wrong, it's good! But just personally skippable for me. This one had cucumber, jalapeño, pineapple, apple, and mint. The sweet fruit flavors are more forward, the cucumber adding some refreshing balance. Mint and jalapeño are more subtle. This is one of my favorite places to start the day. I visited this location for the very first time recently and was not disappointed. The variety of filling toasts, bowls, juices and smoothies is very welcoming and can appeal to those that like their day to start with fresh options and can appeal to those with more simple taste buds versus those that can appreciate the complexity of gourmet options. I had the avocado toast which was amazing and while one could be surprised by $14 toast, the composition made it worth it to me. This location also served a vegetable chili made of sweet potato and black beans which is indeed a favorite. I'm so happy that this location opened in Michigan. It was my go to spot in another state. The dining room is on the smaller scale and they do have excess furniture that I presumed would normally sit outside that is piled up in a corner which somewhat distracts from the minimalist environment. Bowl was tasty (I got the dragon fruit one) only complaint on it was kiwi was too big to fit on the spoon and eat- I would suggest cutting slices in half. The peach prosciutto and burrata special toast looks unreal good! They just opened a few days ago and deducted a star only to the fact it took 15 min or so to get my bowl. This review is for the poor service I experienced with Toastique. I did an online order on Sunday 1/12. When my food delivered, one item was missing. I called and the manager confirmed the item was indeed forgotten and was still at the store. Instead of offering what can be done with the order, she proceeded to ask what can she do to make this experience better. I asked if it can be delivered as I'm at work and cannot leave. She said no. So I requested to get a refund on the missing order and she said something about corporate? but after a long pause, she said ok, I can refund to the card you used. I confirmed and repeated to her that I will get refund on that particular missing order and she said yes. However, after 3 days, I didn't get the refund so I called back and requested to talk to the manager who work on Sunday. The person who took the call asked for details which I explained. After a long hold, I got hung up on. I called back again, got put on hold immediately and then the same person picked up and without asking who I was, said the manager is busy but we will refund the full order for you. I said I only need the missing item refund and she said they can't do individual order refund and told me to call back if I didn't receive the refund after 3 days because they have to contact corporate about it. I decided not to call back and will take the lost. I am extremely disappointed in this service and how it was handled. I will not be supporting this type of service. read more

On the more expensive side for a smoothie and toast place and the quality doesn't match the prices. I've gone 3 times now and each time my smoothies and bowls have had lackluster texture.
