I had a really disappointing experience at this cigar lounge back in February. My husband and I stopped in while waiting for his car to be serviced, and from the moment we walked in, the attendant's attitude was rude and off-putting. He immediately made a snide comment about if we're going to be there we had to purchase a cigar which I did and then continued to make such comments when my husband was going to smoke his own cigar which he already had. After my husband stepped outside when he came back in the attendant continued making comments about sitting there and using the WiFi, saying that if we were going to sit there, we BOTH needed to buy a cigar. That assumption alone was frustrating--especially since I was using my own hotspot and not their WiFi at all. The way it was handled came across as obnoxious and unwelcoming especially since I purchased 3 cigars in total. On top of that, the cigar selection was nothing special. I've definitely seen much better elsewhere, so there wasn't even a redeeming factor there. The space itself is also very small, with limited seating--you're basically sitting on top of other people, which makes for an uncomfortable experience. Overall, the combination of poor customer service, unimpressive selection, and cramped environment means I will NEVER visit this place again. read more

This is an ideal spot for a cigar and some TV or just to be with some fellow cigar lovers. I was here for a "Cigar Night" event and just relaxed with some friends and enjoyed a cigar. Plenty of TV sets around for any sport's night. Plenty of lockers for the regulars. It is so easy to get here from either the Northern State Pkwy, Expressway or Northern Blvd with ample parking. They have a terrific humidor room with an outstanding variety of high-end and not so high-end cigars. There is something for everyone and all reasonably priced. They even a couple of seats in the back of the humidor room to sit, relax, hang with some friends and chat. What was easy to notice was the amazing ventilation system throughout. It really make a stay better when you're not sitting in the middle of a cloud. I recommend this shop for all us cigar aficionados out there. Sit back, relax and enjoy the smoke. I spent about 15 minutes browsing the selection in the humidor. They have a pretty decent size walk in humidor with a small range of cigars, mostly high end and many I've never heard of before, even some Cubans. I made my choice and walked to the counter. The older gentleman behind the counter asked ME how much the cigar was. I said umm I don't know 10.95 or 11.95 maybe?. He says to me well you're going to have to go check. I looked at him, walked right back into the humidor put the cigar back where it was and walked right out the door. First of all the selection of cigars is not big enough for an employee to not know the prices, and if you can't keep up, put a chart behind the counter. Second how are you going to tell a customer they have to do something? No sir, what you should have done is walked in there and checked yourself. Extremely disappointed. read more

Went in today on this Sunday morning. Have been there b4 and ounce again I m extremely happy. Picked up some La Flor Dominicana Ligero. They have a huge variety of high end cigars . Fun place. High end cigars are in the office. Friendly people. On a negative note, people smoke in the humidor which might possibly affect exposed cigars. Ventilation system is weak, it's small with lots of smoke they really need to get a stronger vent. Overall a decent experience because of the people. read more

This place is great, fully stocked Humidor comfortable chairs and plenty of TVs. Tobacco Plaza is a great place to go if you want to watch a game and enjoy a nice Cigar. The sticks are very reasonably priced and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Tobacco Plaza also has the NFL network and is open late most days, they have defined hours of business but if people are hanging out or watching a game they will usually stay open. read more

As someone who considers himself both a big cigar smoker and a knowledgeable one, I have to say I highly recommend Tobacco Plaza or "TP" as the regulars call it. This shop has an awesome selection of cigars, there's something for everyone. Prices are very reasonable too. The best thing about this shop though is its comfortable you feel like it's your home. While the staff will ask you if you need help when you walk in, they are definitely not pushy. If you need help they will help you find the right stick for your taste and budget. This is a place you can kick back, relax, smoke and meet some really great down to earth people while watching tv on 4 big flat screen tvs. Marshall, Danny, Michael, Randy and Kenny own the shop and they're all top notch people.
