My issue comes in with the business office and their less then stellar practices. We've always paid our estimates at time of service and any additional balances in instances where the estimates may have been slightly off. They continue to state that we have a "family" balance that has to be paid before they will schedule follow up visits. This balance has been reviewed with the business office against the EOB from my insurance in which the EOB does not reflect any patient responsibility. They are trying to balance bill for amounts they should contractually be writing off. This alone has put a bitter take in my mouth and forced me to start looking elsewhere for treatment. ​

I was charged $250 out-of-pocket for a "deep cleaning" that they coded as 4 quadrants, even though only 3 quadrants were actually treated. They also separated and billed procedures that should have been included in the deep cleaning, turning what should have been around $65 into a $250 bill. When I contacted my insurance company, they confirmed that the clinic's billing did not align with the covered services. I've been trying to reach the clinic for the past 4 days -- no one answers, and the number they gave me doesn't even connect. This is completely unprofessional and feels like a scam. The deep cleaning itself was rushed and lasted less than 30 min. I strongly suggest double-checking every code and estimate before agreeing to any treatment here.
