I booked my appointment with Alex, but when I arrived Tony took me without letting me know that Alex was actually there. I specifically asked for a number 1 around the edges and blended up. Instead, I walked out with a high and tight, which is not what I requested. Once Tony started cutting at my temple, I really had no choice but to let him finish. Disappointing Experience: Pushy Barber Shop with Poor Customer Service I recently decided to try a new barber( since Arina was our old barber) for my son's haircut, and unfortunately, it was a decision I deeply regret. We visited with high hopes but left utterly disappointed and frustrated. From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere felt tense. The new barber we were assigned seemed overly pushy with my son's haircut style, disregarding/rushing our preferences. Despite attempting to communicate clearly, there was a glaring miscommunication, leading to an overcut. Things escalated when I tried to intervene to rectify the situation. Shockingly, the manager, instead of addressing the issue with professionalism and empathy, yelled across the shop, dismissing our concerns and insisting that we stick with the original plan. As if that wasn't disheartening enough, the barber's attitude was incredibly poor. He displayed impatience and a lack of understanding, which only exacerbated the distressing experience. My son, ended up in tears, which is never the outcome one expects from a simple haircut. The overall customer service was abysmal, lacking any semblance of patience or empathy, especially when dealing with children. It's deeply disappointing to encounter such behavior, particularly in a service-oriented industry. Needless to say, we will not be returning . If they cannot demonstrate basic patience and understanding, especially with young customers, they ought to reconsider their approach to serving families. It's a shame that what could have been a pleasant experience turned out to be nothing short of a nightmare. In addition I have removed my previous review as Arina is no longer a team member (she was amazing). Truly disappointing as we were some of the first customers. Came in with my friend. My friend got a good cut that's where the 2nd star from. I was getting a simple buzz cut and fade and my head looks deformed after this cut. Missed some areas and random hairs sticking out. Also used the blade on my neck that wasn't cleaned after the client before, which for sure ain't safe. They used some medieval shavers for bald fade had my head and neck irritated all day. Took a chance and gave them a try while visiting Atlanta. The gentlemen who cut my hair said they just opened a few months ago. Being new, TCB is clean and not too busy. With no appointment, I waited about 10 minutes to be seen. They offer refreshments while waiting. I believe the man who cut my hair may be the owner... I can't remember for sure. He asked how I wanted my hair cut and I gave him some vague instructions. Even though he's quick, he did a great job! He's talented so you're gonna pay a little more. If you do a walk in, we'll then you will wait. (So, don't get mad at the place if they are busy) Good price for the haircut. $30 included, a cut, neck shave, hot towel, and a quick massage. Do not go here if you have curly hair. These inexperienced barbers, who say they have years of experience. I went to get a clean up. Just wanted the sides shorter and a bit off the top. The barber cuts off basically all my luscious hair off. And leaves me with the same length all around. And on top of the they charged me $45! read more

Paying $40 for a hair cut is already quite pricey, but to add insult to injury, it was a 5 minute job which resulted in a bad outcome. That is unacceptable. I went in today to get a basic haircut because I saw that this place was new. The interior was clean and new, and everyone was extremely welcoming and friendly. They also have free drinks in the waiting area which is a huge plus. I got my haircut from Carlos and his attention to detail was the most meticulous that I've ever received from any haircut I've had in my entire life; consequently, I received accolades from my family the moment I got home. The price for a basic haircut is $30 without gratuity which is a little steep; however, both Carlos and the owner, Alex, were super friendly, and they throw in a shave and hot towel too. There used to be a franchise barber shop here so I came here today expecting nothing more until I discovered on arrival this new place had opened. I walked in to a really charming interior and the very presentable barbers of Toco Classic Barbers. I was quite amazed that I dropped my sunglasses....twice. The haircut was an absolute premium experience. From the very delicate hands to the many razors, combs, and fragrant creams. The tools here are quite detailed including an air hose to clear all the loose hair on the cutting cape and really nice hot towels followed by a head massaging device. The prices are very reasonable for the amazing level of service they do surrounded by the charming decor and smooth music selection. Upon arriving home I noticed there weren't any loose hairs left in my hair and that my barber had managed to get them all off. I will definitely be coming back and will recommend this to all my friends and family.
