Bad customer service..not even a good morning when in right away a asian lady said no appointment were to busy never go there!

Signage says they accept credit card/debit, Great I won't have to go to the bank....Waited for 45min then the lady started shaping my nails. After she shaped one hand she says, "Cash Only" but your signs says you accept Visa/Mstrcard. She says no Cash Only :-( I think that is very POOR and TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Ugh! First time getting my nails done, gel for the very first time!!!! As much I would like to write a 5 star review I cannot. I had never had my nails done. It was my first experience here and since this visit I have not been back to another place to do my nails. I could say this was a traumatic experience. The lady who did my nails filed not only my nails but my nail beds! It was very painful! I did not say anything and she continued doing this. I had lots a scaring and scabbing. Worst nail salon, I can't believe I forgot to review it. I decided to get a "quick fill" before dinner, that was my first mistake. They took their time with the three girls they were attending. However, when it was my turn since it was close to their closing time I was rushed. The lady who did my nails did not want me to touch her at all, like wow I'm sorry my fingers get tired and rest down? I've never had a nail person tell me to keep my fingers up. * I skipped the gel because I was planning to get a new set the following week- second mistake- my nails were ruined like 15mins after leaving!! Was in a hurry so I decided to stop by for a Pedi on a Sunday Morning. THEY CHARGE TO REMOVE GEL POLISH AND THEY DO NOT DO GEL PEDICURES! OMG WHAT A HUGE DISSAPOIMENT. They also do PEDICURES old-school style where you sit in a regular chair and they bring a foot soaker with war water ( they don't even plug it in for a massage ) Also this place is CASH ONLY. Horrible service. The eyebrow technician decides she wants to skip me because I was explaining to her what style of eyebrows I wanted, thick/thin/round/etc, you know. I'm assuming because I took a minute of her time she felt like she needed to move on to the next customer and thats what she did. Told me I was taking to long. Geesh, if you don't want to work, go home . Thats why its called , customer service, its the service of the customer. They have a tendency to rush you like my money and the money of the same people you rushing all the time are not whats keeping these doors open. Let me just start by saying that I was just at a spa and resort and got only my toes done because they were booked.. So I decided to get my nails done at a place that had high ratings... I had like 2 minutes to pick my color and she got iterate because I was trying my match the color of my toe nails.. When she was done doing my nails and out it on the little fan.. I have been going to Todays Nails for more than 10 years, (Geesh I just told my age) anyhoot I love the owner Cathy, she is very sweet and always honest. if your eyebrows are to thin she will tell you to grow them out before you lose them, if your feet looks like they need medical attention she will tell you! If the shop is busy she will inform you that it will be 1-2 hour wait and offer you an appointment to come back later. I always call ahead if i didn't make an appointment. She is the only person allowed to touch my eyebrows!! read more

I recommend this nail place. MINA did and amazing job in getting my gel full set done, although it was being stubborn and the color wasn't drying quickly she made it work and I got very good results after all the work she did. She does great in pedicures too. My sister was satisfied to with both her nails and pedicure so if you are near this place try it I'm definitely going back! read more

I found this place by driving by and just figured why not and they looked clean and had an awesome selection of colors for gel and regular polish to match toes with hands. I stopped in for the first time today as a friend recommended the spot and I lived down the street. When I got there I had to wait 10 mins as they were finishing up others. I finally say with Danny and he took his time on my cuticles and shaping my nails. I had a bit of gel Polish on a few nails that he carefully removed. Half way thru I noticed the "Cash only" sign in which he finished the maintenance and instructed me to visit the atm next door. Nonetheless, he did a good job with my random moon design and then need to add a diamond. Overall, I really enjoyed my first visit and highly recommend this place as everyone was friendly. read more

I asked for assistance, the employees just looked at each other and some guy asked me to sit at his station, while the other ladies where feet up on there phones. it did not look professional, if they were on break - I believe they should go to lunch room to lounge around. Not a great first impression for a customer. The place looked like it needed to be vacuum and dusted. Like I said this place was my only choice, I was stuck in Inglewood area due to heavy traffic that day. As I was getting my nails done I begun to look around at notice two State Of California licences were expired from last year. Not a good look.. I asked for a gel Pedicure and gel fill. *THEY DO NOT DO GEL PEDICURES* so I got a regular pedicure and gel fill. They only have off brand, cheap nail polish. It looked awful and old. When the nail color was applied it looked streaky. I asked to redo color, and it looked the same when dried. The day after I had to go elsewhere to redo my color change. There is only a huge concern I have at this moment. That's my feet. My nails have not been well since I started getting pedicures here. I have to see a physician due to nail not looking well. WOST PLACE EVER !!! the guy hurt me so bad I pulled my hand away so fast and when he started again he hurt in the same stop!! He was trying to shape my nail while going into my my skin where my nail was supposed to be ! Most of my nails were the wrong size so I ended up telling him I didn't wanted color after I got done washing my hands. I asked how much and he said $25!! I pay $25 for a good full painted set I offered him $15 for the job because that's what I thought it was worth and he said no! The old hag in there was calling me off that I needed to pay full price for something that was so ugly and I would have to take off as soon as I got home. This is why they have no customers! She said that a lot of people try doing that , well if the job looks like a 5 year old did it I'm not going to pay full o price. If I could give a zero I would! The lady that did my pedicure rushed through the entire process. The place was completely empty to begin with so I don't understand why she was rushing through it. And it wasn't even a pedicure, it was more like a polish change. She didn't take the time to cut the cuticles or push them back. My nail polish was sloppy. I had to ask her to clean the polish off my cuticles and she became so annoyed when I did. She didn't want to do it in the beginning so I started doing it myself and then she cleaned the edges. I payed 35 for a gel pedicure with a "spa chair" that was broken down. The place looks run down. I came here once before, long time ago and wasn't completely happy with the end result but I thought I'd give it another shot. WORST 35 bucks I have ever spent! I don't mind paying for a service if it's going to be done right. You would think because times are tough during this Covid pandemic people would do their best to provide a service but I guess they might not need the money that bad. In a hurry, and was in need of a manicure while in the area. Place was empty on a Friday early afternoon. One of the worse gel manicures I've had, ever. The gentleman, (sits closest to the back) was so quick, and didn't even clean them up upon finishing. Shaping was crooked, sides of my nails are still sore from the way he cut, and filed them. Went today with my mother and 2 year old daughter. I called ahead and made an appointment and I was glad that I did because when we got there, it was starting to get busy and I actually saw them have to turn people away. I got a gel manicure and a pedicure and my mother got a gel manicure. I would say that the work was standard. The pricing was very reasonable. I will definitely return. Before the polish on my toes got dry, my daughter stepped on my foot and ruined the paint and the woman that had done them happily fixed it and I was grateful for that. My my disclaimer is when I looked on Yelp I was looking for the best and somebody that can deal with my pickiness which I had said to the shop also explaining that I wanted a full set and a pedicure with gel on both toes and fingers but apparently they didn't do toes why I have no idea. here we go I didn't want to be "that girl" but I have to say. There's nothing worst than someone coming at you as if 17 yrs old telling me what can't be done on my own nails that I have been doing for 30 years from manicurist and doing them myself.
