The Drywall tape is literally not connected to the wall for about a 8 foot run. And when the guy came out to look at it he told me ( NOT TO PAINT WITH EGGSHELL PAINT)--That was his answer. The answer for his crews doing real crappy work. Real stand up place. I had to have the whole place painted due to the drywall being not coated properly and they did a beyond lousy job where corners didn't even come together. Buy the way I have had to pay for this out of my own pocket! Bath tub was not secured all it was suspended on was the edge of the tile. No security in it at all we could have gone into the ceiling. Family room not insulated. Roof leaked since day one and no one to repair it. Its on my final walk thorough.They told me they would be back. NOT SO!!! I have a majority of neighbors who have had total roof tear offs and there homes are only a few years old. This house in the condition that it was in it never should have passed inspection. Which seriously concerns me about the AVON LAKE BUILDING INSPECTION DEPTARTMENT. They don't adhere to the Rules of the association. You have to call 3 people and then they push it off on some one else. I have a career that I get to speak to a lot of people and they have asked me about KOPF Builders. Due to them wanting to build. My response is to forget it. There are plenty of builders out there. I can say that I actually I know 5 that have had someone else build there homes. There results are beautiful! I am a self employed Dr. with over 4000 patients and I know how important reviews and referrals are. And, I love to see people come back to me year after year. There is no higher complement. I want to do my very very best. Actually, I rarely leave reviews- But I thought this was very important a must if you will. I thought Kopf Builders would love to see return customers over and over. I guess that is not the case. What a shame. Very disappointed. And the sad thing is there are many more like me because I have met them and swapped storys. I am getting ready to build another home. I recently referred McClain Painting and Renovation to a family member that needed the exterior of their three story home painted in Lakewood, OH. I didnt call Window Universe intially. (my mistake) I had one company (Who I wont review) that was all the way up to getting a downpayment from me. They seemed good initially but I had to fire them when they didnt show up (it was a fourth offence) Too bad. Well I called Window Universe they came out fast. The quoting process was fast. The person (lance) who came out was very personable. Now I didnt realize this but their quote was 1500 less than the other guy I fired. Also Lance is a dialed in person. He called Provia on my door and he told me that the door I was getting was not compatible so we had to switch. The previous guy was going to give me that door with the side lights. (Was it going to even work??) yeah so there was that. The appointment took minutes. We also talked about basement glass block windows. Their prices. Right on the sheet AND they were really good about 1/2 what I expected to pay. So I am going to do that too before the winter. Anyhow when all was said and done Window Universe was less than the guy I almost used and Lance double checked he got the proper sized windows and sidelights. Great experience and I still have 3+ weeks before the windows show up. Ill come back and add some pictures after it is done. I know it is going to be great.

This is just a yearly reminder to to never use this company for your concrete needs. I have never…read morehad such a terrible experience and worse yet a poor outcome in my driveway. It began to literally spring random holes within the first several weeks and then these weird micro cracks and weird look especially when wet. Then after the first very first winter it began to literally crumble. You can just sweep away bits of the driveway. He never responded to any phone calls or emails. Not to mention left the worst mess of concrete splashed onto my garage eves and the sides of my house. Plus, when he was restaining my cement patio also stained the side of my garage with it. The best part was that a fight nearly broke out on the pour day over not enough water in the truck. Which I have come to find out that is why my driveway looks like shit. The mixture was too dry which caused it to dry too quickly and be too brittle. I don't understand why you would continue to pour knowing the mixture was bad. Just a terrible person and company. I spent way too much money to be so disappointed. Also, they were supposed to remove old gate posts during the process because a new one was going in but they decided they couldn't get one of them out so they just re cemented it in with the new driveway. So then when the fence company came out they had to cut into my brand new driveway to remove the post. To place a new, larger post. Not their fault. Should have been removed with the driveway. Please do not hire Michael Saunders. This driveway was done in June 2023. Only 2.5 years old and I was meticulous about the care of it since I saved for a long time to replace my old one.
