I had made an appointment for her to replace 2 crowns on 2 teeth that would also be seen when I smile. I had the appointment & made a 250$ deposit, initially I wasn't happy with the implant crown- it was too white and even stuck out a bit, but decided not to make a big deal about it. My teeth are white- but not as white as the crown and it wasn't until I saw a picture of me smiling that I realized how bad it looked. 24hrs before, I cancelled my appointment to have the other crowns replaced because I was concerned about them not being able to match these crowns either. I then made an appointment to see Dr Parsons to see if there was anything they could do this implant crown. Dr Parsons literally spent less than 1-2 minutes with me. I was with the assistant, who was very rude to me. I wanted to talk to DR PARSONS because she is the DENTIST! The assistant couldn't even answer all of my questions, and it was clear that both she AND Dr Parsons were put out by the fact that I was there. I looked again, with the assistant, at other colors to possibly replace the crown with but we couldn't find one. My concern about getting new crowns not matching were quite real. Thank goodness I cancelled the appointment and didn't spend 4,000 bucks on crowns that would look terrible. But I was out 250$ for cancelling my appointment ( I cancelled 24, not 48 hrs prior). I think the reason was understandable, however. I mentioned this to the assistant who said, "well, you should have shown up for your appointment". She could not have have been more snotty! I told her I did cancel more than 24hrs prior. She said, "we booked a lot of time for you." Then she said I should have come in that day to discuss it with Dr Parsons. She was hateful and honestly, it was upsetting. Even after we couldn't match the color of the crown, Dr Parsons couldn't be bothered to come back in. I just to go to my other dentist who had done all my other work but is 2500 miles away, so next time I fly there to visit my kids I'll have to spend hours at dentist- instead of with my kids. AND I'll have to pay 2,000 dollars to replace the implant crown, plus paying for the other 2 crowns. And I'm out 250$. And I'm on disability- I don't have dental insurance. I've never been treated so badly ever, by any dentist office. They don't care about the quality of their work. Stay away. I wanted to add to this. When I went back to my dentist in CA, they said that the crown should be redone. They also felt it was not only the wrong color, but it's not the right size. They are cosmetic dentists in S Ca and have been in practice over 30yrs. But now I have to pay over 2,000$ for them to replace the crown that Dr Parsons had placed. I paid Dr Parsons over 2,000$. Money WASTED, that I don't have. Dr Parsons is not a cosmetic dentist. She couldn't care less about the work she does-as long as she gets your money. There are things to be taken into consideration when placing a crown- not just color. She should know this.

I didn't even know I had a problem until I compared my gums with others. Yikes, glad Dr Serg caught it and skillfully corrected the problem. Thank you!! They could've improved my service by giving me more detailed printed aftercare instructions for a frenectomy. It's not the same aftercare as a tooth extraction, which I was given.

Immediately said the tooth will break when cleaning out decay. I told her I would think on it and get a 2nd opinion. Another dentist said he will put filling in cavity but warned me tooth may break. I will take the risk. I wish she would have at least tried to save the tooth and let me decide. She did put a filling in a deep cavity on tooth at gum line. She used laser to remove partial gum to get at the cavity. She did a great job. so far no root canal, since removing partial gum may have exposed the root. She has broken English. She calls a BONE a BUN.. Beware of this. She tends to say OH MY GOD when she sees a deep cavity. I didn't like that, since everyone can hear her. even guests in waiting room. Overly dramatic. Although I liked her and her work with my cavity. Not sure about her yet.

Where do I start? -They made me watch a video like I was 5…read more -He took pictures of me with a camera that he didn't warn me about the blinding flash placed directly in front of my eyes. -He poked around using all of this discreet medical terms with his assistant directly in front of me which made me feel like I was being talked about negatively. -He does not have "people skills" in ways to break news to patients... he started claiming how "unhealthy" my mouth was and then asked "if I had a problem opening my mouth because normally people actually open their mouth wide when he asks" (I was trying as hard as I could) -His assistant claimed I should take an anxiety medication (read off my chart) prior to coming back... which was an ASSUMPTION because really I was just plain pissed off being there because of how I was treated (I never have problems going to the dentist) ****To top it all off, HE DIDN'T EVEN CLEAN MY TEETH AND THEY GAVE ME A BILL OF CHARGES FOR SOME SURGICAL PROCEDURE HE WANTED TO DO OVER THE COURSE OF 4 APPOINTMENTS**** I'm new to Florida, but can somebody PLEASE tell me what dentist doesn't even clean your teeth? But he was right. The crown in question was bulky and apparently left something of a gap. The crown Dr. C installed fit so much better! I wasn't thrilled with the first hygienist I was paired with at Midpoint. (She was proficient, though not friendly.) But then ..... I lucked out with Tucker Gross. He's a great hygienist and so personable. I actually looked forward to my cleanings! Unlike other reviewers, I found the office staff transparent about billing. Estimates were always accurate in accordance with my dental insurance. There's very little that I miss about living in Florida. But I was sorry to leave this practice when I moved out of state.

I recently visited this dentist practice in fort myers. The office personnel is excellent but, I…read morecannot say the same about Dr Catlin. He gave me a price and at the end I paid triple the initial price. I was told to repair my implant I needed to purchase a tool that cost $750, but the Doctor said I could take it with me. I was given the impression that since my implants are old, not all dentists have the tools they need to repair them, therefore if I kept the tool other dentist can use it in the future. At the end of my treatment, Dr Catlin didn't want to give me the tool I had purchased. It is a driver and he only gave me the tip. No handle, no shaft. In the office everybody says that only the tip cost $750. It's hard to believe. He claims the money was for the "phone calls" he made to the lab when purchasing the tool and the implant screw he replaced (I paid separate for the screw). He charged me extra because the tissue around the implant closed so he reopened it. The screw was overnighted( i am sure I paid for that also) but he took long to replace that screw. He has a flat affect and gets frustrated easily. His manners with pts are not the best, and he mumbles to the point that is hard to understand what he is saying. I will never come back to this office. I am trying to find out how much is that driver I purchased, then I will report him to the Florida and State board of Health.
