We visited the Greenway location on Friday evening in hopes of purchasing our first artificial tree. We entered the store and received a nice greeting from a tall gentleman behind the counter/desk located near the front of the store. He then disappeared to the back of the store. We browsed the holiday section for a bit and when we narrowed our selections, I kindly approached a petite female store associate seeking help. I asked about inventory and her short response was, "It just depends". Slightly taken back by her rudeness, I still went on to tell her what we were looking for and asked for recommendations. She literally said, "I don't know, you just have to look around and see what you like that comes in 9ft" and then walked away. She made it very clear she was not interested in helping us. I have never been dismissed so blatantly by someone in retail. She almost ruined a fun experience for my daughter and I. Instead we went elsewhere and purchased a $1,300 tree and provided a cash tip to the associate that assisted us in finding the perfect tree. I think it's clear I will never return to Today's Patio on Greenway. read more

Usually good but have become more excuse based. I made a purchase 7 weeks ago with an eta of 6 weeks. I heard nothing from them. After calling they told me it would even ship for another two weeks. Unfortunately they are like many others that aren't delivering on promises. They were able to process my visa in a timely manner. To the merchant. Don't give a date if you aren't going to live up to it. Don't blame covid when the order was made during covid with a delivery date based on covid. When you screw up, make it right. It's not that hard give good customer service. Without customers you won't have a business Today I spoke with the manager (Scott) he listened to my feelings and did everything he could to make the situation right. I appreciate his willingness to work with his customers. It was nice to have a merchant care what his customers think. read more

When we placed our order for outdoor furniture 14 months ago, Robin warned us up front that we would have to wait about a year for delivery, but since we were building a new home, the lengthy time was beneficial for us. She also had a lot of recommendations and helped us decide exactly what pieces would work best for us. I called or dropped by every now and to make payments and get updated delivery dates and every one I spoke with was always very helpful. I remember being told more than once that the brand we purchased would be worth the wait. Last week, we got the call that our furniture was finally in and ready to be delivered. The men that showed up were some of the best delivery people I've ever met. They were respectful, professional, engaging and extremely helpful. They placed everything exactly where I wanted it and even tried to help kill a wolf spider that crawled out from under something. After going on line and reading all the superlatives about Today's Patio (Paddock Pools, Patios,etc where we bought the furniture from was no longer in business) I went Today's Patio and met with Chuck Rerick in Sales. What a beaut!! Terrific guy who put us at ease telling us they could fix the problem. And they did! Searching and finding matching material from 7 years ago can't be that easy, but Chuck did find it! We bought a small patio bistro set with an umbrella and it was a little over $1k. But then again, when you shop other places it's either cheap plasticy stuff that will wear terribly or very expensive...it seems there is no middle ground. My wife and I entered the front door looking for a new cantilever umbrella. Tracy Snyder greeted us with a smile and asked if she could help us. She first listened to our needs, then demo'd the products, answered all of our questions and came up with an offer we could not refuse. The experience was very pleasant and enjoyable. She even made us laugh a few times. I think we were in the store less then 30 minutes and spent over $1000. We felt in such good hands that we didn't even consider going anywhere else. This purchase included numerous pieces and Debra was very knowledgable, patient, and great at pulling things together to work with my existing pieces. Purchased a durable umbrella and base the first week in May, paid in full at the time of purchase ($1,100), and was told umbrella would arrive in 4-5 weeks. Today, August 3rd, and still waiting for the complete umbrella. After 11 weeks, the umbrella and base arrived, but no sleeve to hold the umbrella in the base. Lost at the warehouse, or never shipped from the factory is unclear, however, sleeve arrived a week later....albeit without the requisite bolts to secure it to the base. Now waiting for the bolts to arrive......while Today's Patio has had my $1,100 since the first week in May, and I'm still without an operable umbrella. And from the store management we received the comment that "we'll provide you a nice discount on your next purchase". Really?
