We had a great experience here last year but unfortunately this year our tree started dying after about 2 weeks, not for lack of watering the tree is just not absorbing the water. I have tried calling multiple times to ask for another tree but the number will not connect through, just goes to a full voicemail box. We spent almost $200 for our tree + delivery, it's pretty disappointing. Tried sending an email and now leaving a review in hopes of getting in contact with them. read more

Once it was delivered I realized I made a mistake... after contacting Tiffany they assured me they would help me out and WOW! Do you need Christmas tree? Well Todd has them and they are ready to go. Any type of tree but we warned they are not cheap and it isn't easy to figure out the pricing. They really want you to find the perfect tree first and then try and figure out if it's worth it. Granted, I haven't done a ton of Christmas tree shopping in the past so I'm not sure if that is the standard practice but I would prefer a little more clarity up front. With that being said we did find a great tree and had a funny helper who tied it to our roof. Which leads me to my other pondering q, are you supposed to tip the helper? He didn't insist or anything but kind of stood around after before wishing us a merry Christmas. We have loved coming here every year since. Delivered a gorgeous tree!! We have purchased our tree from Todd's for 4 years after trying others Xmas tree lots over the years. This year we hoped for a contact free delivery. I called and ordered a 7 foot noble. Owner was so sweet and gave a time frame for the next day. Right on time 2 nice gentleman (wearing masks) delivered the tree and placed it in our backyard. Terrible. I Got a beautiful 7.5 foot flocked tree and it is dying horribly. Purchased a week and a half ago. I've bought many trees and never had this happen. The bottom of the tree is literally on my floor. Not to mention the horrible customer service, the head people in charge are not kind to the workers they find off Craigslist. Now I'll have to buy a fake just to give my kids a decent Christmas. Shame on you guys! I paid 170 total not including tip. They charge for every single thing. Our first time buying a real christmas tree! All the employees were helpful, informative, and patient. We were helped by David. He was extremely patient and helpful in helping us choose the perfect tree. He moved trees next to each other so we could compare them side by side and never seemed irritated that we couldn't make up our minds. They have trees of all sizes and types. We ended up with a 5 foot Noble Fir. I drive a small car so I was nervous about how to get the tree home. David helped us put the tree in the trunk with the top sticking out. It was well secured. Meh...trees were underwhelming and over priced and there was not much of a Christmas feel to this lot. They are pretty understaffed and when i asked for a simple small tree for my lil toddler to decorate they said their best pricing was close to $70 for an3 foot tree?? Seriously? I found more decor and Christmas feel at the Signal Hill Home Depot tree lot, and prices were MUCH better. Tried to support a local tree lot, but was not doing it to the detriment of experience for me or crazy cost difference. read more

I went here pretty early (before Black Friday) to ensure that I get a wide range of options and also to avoid waiting. At least 3 employees approached me and all were very cheery and helpful. It was my first year getting a real tree so it was nice that there was a huge selection and they were displayed as they would be in your house. I got a 6 foot noble at $90 but boy was it fluffy and thiccc. Nobles are good for heavy ornaments but I just preferred how fluffy they looked (side note: they don't have a strong Christmas tree scent.) There's no prices on the trees but it is organized by "breeds." If you are entering through the Ximeno entrance, the trees on the far right are the cheapest and as you move left, they get more expensive and higher quality. If you ask, the employees can give you an estimate on the tree as well. After making your selection, the employees will cut it for you. They will also strap the tree to your car for you :-) In case you have a small car, they also do delivery but it isn't free. Tip: Go early to avoid the crowd! read more

We've been going to Todd's lot for at least 15 years. Their trees are so much fresher than anything you'll find at Home Depot, Costco, or other lots. The freshness and smell last all the way to Christmas. The workers (mostly family members) are quick to help the customer, will do a fresh cut, and even mount last year's green bowl without a complaint. I always tip because it is the season. Let me start by saying the customer service was phenomenal. We picked out our tree on Tuesday and would have to pick it up on Wednesday due to having it flocked. The issue we had is when we picked up the tree. Everything was smooth until the tree was secured to our car. The older hispanic guy who tied our tree to the car did not listen. While he was tying the tree down my wife and I asked him if it was enough string to get us from Long Beach to Norwalk safe. The man told us "I've been working here a lot of years and trust me this tree is going no where." Five minutes after pulling off the lot we noticed the tree started sliding across the car. We pulled over tried to adjust the twine and drove a little further. We pulled over again and made some more adjustments. Another mile down the road the tree started sliding again. At this point we're both frustrated. We drove to Lowes on Spring street to get extra twine from their Christmas tree lot. Finally our tree was secured. After 20 minutes of driving we got our tree home in one piece. I say all of this to say, if a customer tells you their tree doesn't look secure, don't tell them about your level of expertise. Just grab some more string and tie the tree down some more to provide reassurance. Pros: great customer service and a large variety of trees Cons: men who don't listen, the price of the trees and the fact that they charge for everything. Was helped by cory and robby they were super helpful. Dont let corys face tattoos mislead you. He helped and explain us the diferences with the types of trees and price list. He said he would help us load it on the car and set up the tree stand. He kept calling me sir and kept asking me if i needed anything. Seems odd to be writing a review of a Christmas tree place in February, but well, it's Cheryl's fault. When we first moved to Long Beach in 1999, we lived just off Ximeno, and since my husband wasn't the Christmas tree shopping enthusiast that I have been all my life, I dragged the tree home from Todd's all by myself that first year. The prices for trees seem to get more and more thoroughly outrageous with each passing year, but somehow you felt better handing over your hard-earned cash to a place like Todd's than to the aproned half-witted dude at Lowes. They're typically very helpful, cheerful (what a concept!) and willing to trim anything you want off the tree and expertly anchor it to the car for your half-mile trip home at 10 mph. read more
