Walking in, this place is full of all different kinds of men's formal apparel. I saw a bunch of "loud" color and style suits and really wanted to buy one of those too! Out of my price range at the time though and not why I was there! I got measured pretty quick, given some rough estimate sizes to put on and they were pretty spot on. Just needed to get the pants tailored up a bit and my jacket sleeves brought up a touch. Conveniently next door, there's a tailor and a dry cleaner. Terrible experience. I was measured for a 42R, but since they didn't have it, they pushed me into a 42L and claimed it didn't need tailoring. I had to make another long drive back just to be sized again, only to end up with the wrong suit. They then sent me to the tailor next door who charged an outrageous price for a simple hem. To top it off, we were told the suits were coming from California, but after delays, learned they were actually shipped from China. Dishonest, overpriced, and not worth the hassle. read more

We decided to check this store out and see what they had, since it was a short drive from the house. We had already been to president tuxedo, men's warehouse, suit depot, tux shop and premier tuxedo. They were cleaning up and vacuuming when we walked in. The woman asked if she could continue vacuuming or if we found it distracting. We said it was fine. John asked what we were looking for shortly when we walked in. My fiancé told him we were looking for a linen suit. He pulled some out for us and my fiancé found a few he liked and tried them on. We asked if there were any cream colored ones. He brought out 3 suits for us. He explained that linen tends to wrinkle easily and may never get as smooth as cotton once ironed or steamed. He gave my fiancé and I his undivided attention. He knew how to pair the shoes to the suit. My fiancé was so happy with the great deal and price of the suit, shirt and tie. John is extremely knowledgeable and is patient and helpful and attentive. He's been with Todd's for about 42 years and knows a lot. Would definitely recommend the store and seeing John. They have very nice suits and at a reasonable price too. We were glad we stopped in and my fiancé wants to go back and buy more suits from there. Well it took a bit, bit we came back for a dark charcoal suit today, 2 sport coats to wear with some jeans, some bright summer sport coats that is and 3 equally bright summer ties as well. Sarita wasn't vacuuming today, since we came much earlier than our last visit. The staff here are always so friendly, knowledgeable, attentive. John even remembered us from our last visit and the white linen suit we had bought too. The staff all seem to really help each other out and make sure that every customer is well taken care of and has the best possible experience here. Customer service here is absolutely amazing and top notch. Sarita and John helped us the most, didn't get the other gentleman's name unfortunately, but he helped us knot the ties so we could see them with the shirts, ties and coats. The best experience!! We were in a crunch to find my fiancé a suit for my grandmothers funeral. He's too small for "Big & Tall" and other big suit stores are a joke. At 6'5 and a 20inch size neck this is the first place who was able to help us! No waiting, elegant clean suits and the Taylor was next door who was able to have the suit done next day!! Everything was decently priced, they didn't raise prices because we were in a crunch. Everyone was awesome and very helpful. Service from Mark was on point. Went there to get a suit for my wedding and he guided me through the selections and recommended a color suit I probably wouldn't have chosen but it was spot on. Even walked me next door to the tailor shop to make sure the tailor knew what alterations were going to be needed to get me fitted right. Thought this type of service was long gone but I'm glad it's still available at some places. I'm from out of town but if I need suits from here on out I'm coming back to this place. I had no intention of writing a review but we are so angry that I have to do something. About a month ago, we came to Todd's to buy a suit for my husband. Suit purchases include a free shirt and tie. Unfortunately, they didn't have a shirt in my husband's size (14 1/2) and our salesman insisted that a 15-15 1/2 would fit him. We asked if it would be possible to get a $10 discount instead of a shirt that we were sure wouldn't fit but after some discussion we ended up reluctantly leaving with the shirt. As we expected, the shirt was huge on my husband and useless to us. Yesterday, I called the store and explained the situation to the store manager, John, who offered to replace the shirt with a shirt in Mark's size which they now had in stock. We were very appreciative of this offer and took him up on it. Unfortunately, as we were about to leave after picking up the new shirt, John informed us that there was no way that the situation as we described it could ever have happened in his store with his sales staff. Way to go, Johnny! Just accuse a customer of lying and cheating. There were several members of his staff who were present and heard the discussion when we tried to refuse the original shirt. John made a bad situation much worse with his accusation. I am sure that the store owner will not be happy to hear about our experience. It was so poorly, shamefully and unprofessionally handled.
