For our main course, we got two garlic naan, butter chicken, and chicken dum biryani. The Naan was soft, tender, buttery and perfectly smoked and tasted fantastic with the smooth creamy spicy velvety Butter Chicken sauce. The chicken biryani was spicy and fragrant with tender pieces of chicken in it. They aced the dum method because every rice grain was separated and the flavor shined through. To end the amazing meal, we got the traditional masala chai which had a perfect balance of chai masala, milk and tea extract. Definitely gave us the perfect warm caffeine kick we needed. We started with a sweet corn soup. The flavors that jump out from this soup are amazing! The herbs and spices are amazing and soooo flavorful! We ordered a chicken noodle dish. We were warned that the sechwan would be pretty spicy so we went with the noodles that weren't spicy. Not disappointed. Stirfried noodles either tandoori chicken and vegetables. Very fresh and crunchy. Yum. Next we went traditional with Chicken Tikka Masala because I love it so much! And another curry chicken dish that was slightly more spicy. Alex grew up in London, so we had a great chat about our shared London roots before ordering. We started with a couple of samosas, then went for their signature Naanos. I had the chicken tikka on garlic naan, Alexander had the same on butter naan, and Vicki had the tandoori shrimp on garlic naan. The Naano is essentially a big, freshly cooked naan served open-faced and piled high with your choice of protein, arugula, fresh toppings and sauces. My chicken tikka was incredibly tender and juicy, with a lovely char from the tandoor and loads of flavour. It's generous, messy in the best possible way, and you can fold it up and get stuck in. The restaurant itself is clean, bright and modern, with a really relaxed atmosphere.
