I just visited this TOGO's again after talking to a representative of the restaurant on the phone. She said she'd talk to management here. To that rep: thank you. So I ordered my favorite wrap with cold bacon and the employee said that he can't serve me cold bacon. I told him, "Yes you can. I talked to corporate about this already. He asked his manager and she confirmed that if the customer asks for cold bacon that they're allowed to get it that way. Now I'm happy. read more

My husband and I have always loved Togos sandwiches. So we were super excited when one opened up in Ripon. We go there typically 3-4 times a WEEK! Recently, my husband ordered his typical meatball sandwich to go and when he took a bite of it once he got home, he immediately spit it out. I could hear the meatball knock on the kitchen table it was so hard. I dont know if they were freezer burn or what, but the sandwich was inedible. I worked that evening so I decided I would bring the sandwich in, show them the meatballs and get a new sandwich. I nicely told the staff and literally knocked the meatball on the counter and she said, "thats weird we make them fresh and never freeze them, let me get someone for you." The manager at the time came out and stated she needed my name and number to file a complaint. I told her it wasnt a big deal and that we didnt need to file a complaint, but that I would just appreciate a new sandwich. She stated, "Oh im sorry. I cant give you a free sandwich." I thought she was joking. I explained to her it wasnt free...that I had purchased it 20 minutes ago and it was inedible. She said that the owner doesnt allow them to remake sandwiches (even if its inedible?) and that she could just take down a complaint. SO I said, "ok so I need to buy ANOTHER sandwich because the one I just bought was inedible?" She just said sorry. Needless to say I am very VERY disapointed with the service. My husband and I will no longer be making our weekly trips there. She stated that she would let the manager know first thing this morning...did I get a call? Nope. Bad management if you ask me. We ordered wraps and I think the the people making them thought I said cigars! When they were making our order, the portions were so small and "un Togos like" we started looking around for hidden cameras thinking they were filming for some kind of funny show and trying to get a response from us....unfortunately, they were not joking! HORRIBLE!!! Gave them 3 tries. First time they were out of several ingredients, never a hey sorry about that. Just a look of oh well you should of come earlier. Second time they made the sandwich wrong, my mistake For waiting until I got home. Third try, sandwich wrong again and very stale bread! This was only my second time at a Togos but I expected a quicker experience with considerate staff. There were 3 people ahead of me in line with single orders but it took about 15-20 minutes to get a sandwich. The man running the register seemed irritated and was rather rude to the woman trying to use her credit card ahead of me. I was a little nervous to use mine after his impatience with her. The staff seemed to all work independently and not communicate too well leading to an inefficient system causing long waiting. read more

My wife and I stopped in to get a couple mini sandwiches and after repeating twice our order they still got it wrong. To make matters worse even though they made the wrong size they took the sandwiches back and just cut one in half and rewrapped them. That wouldn't have so bad but we had different toppings. I thought they would've just given us the sandwiches at the mini price. Then to top it off they tried to charge us the wrong price. I wish I could say this was the first time they got things wrong, but this has happened several times. I guess you need to stand right over them and make sure they get everything correct. Quite possibly the worst TOGO's I've ever been to. They close at 8 PM but every time you walk in after 6:30 PM they miraculously seem to be out of soup and don't have the ability to make hot sandwiches. If I had a dollar for every time this happened to my family we could probably open our own franchise by now. Went to this togos and was disappointed. The bread was obviously frozen because it was so dry, the lettuce must have been lettuce from the morning because it was browning, the tomatoes were sloppy, there was zero mustard which I specifically requested. I'm really upset with the quality of the sandwich at this location. Customer service was okay. I called and ordered my sandwich to go, it was ready when I got there at the time I wanted, but the phone call left a lot to be desired. I had to walk through everything I wanted and had to tell her what I wanted instead of her asking what kind of cheese I wanted I had to remind her that there was cheese on a ham and cheese sandwich before she quickly hung up (note: she didn't ask for my phone number to make sure everything was correct or if there were any questions.) overall, I was unimpressed. The crew leader Vanessa as I walked said "sorry we don't allow any animals in here" as a harassment . I didn't have any animals all I did was walk in with a couple of friends . She takes her personal problems into work and that is very bad customer service in my opinion because taking you problems to work is only to cause problems. The sandwiches were ok, BUT customer service is what broke the deal. After a long drive we stopped at this location, first off we waited 30 minutes for the two girls to finish conversing with the two customers who were there when we arrived at 7:30 pm. By the time they got around to taking and making our order it was 8:05. While we were paying for our meal one of the employees told incoming customers that they were closing and we would all be locked in until we were ready to leave. We proceeded to sit down to eat, the girl was very rude and said "You can't eat here we are closed" and insisted we leave immediately even though there were 4 other people waiting to order. In the amount of time it took them to fill our small order I assumed we could be finished before they made the orders for all the people still waiting. The rudeness alone is enough to make me NEVER go back. I asked the girl why we could not eat while they finished with the other customers and she was very adamant that it was not going to happen in her store. I mentioned to the girl I am a previous store owner and there is no way that would be tolerated and I said I would be contacting the owner and giving a review. This girl was so rude, she did not even care, if she worked for me she would have a final check! You do not treat customers like that. read more

Management needs to hire older and more responsible staff. I like there sandwiches, and the young lady who help our group is a star. The other girl, who sat.. and let the line grow, but she was to busy watching the basketball game, SHAME ON YOU! Would give zero stars if possible. Worst experience ever at a TOGO's. The woman making our sandwiches was clearly not having a good afternoon to begin with, and proceeded to make our sandwiches with a huff. After getting the basic info on type, bread & produce (which was skimpy), she rung up our order with the intention of finishing up the sandwiches after payment. It was after payment however, that I realized that I wanted to add cheese but wasn't given the opportunity (because who prepays, hello?), and she then tells me that cheese is extra. Ok well duh, I know that, but it throws a person off when you don't get to talk someone through your order. So, after making 3 different #9's, she threw them all in a bag without labeling them (which matters, because my lactose-intolerant husband can only handle Swiss), and then slid them at me with a passing "have a nice day". I have given this Togo's SEVERAL chances. The staff is good other than a girl named McKayla, if she is working you may as well turn around and go to Mcdonalds. Her customer service is horrible, she is rude EVERY time. Everyone else makes our sandwiches great, except her. So when we spend $20 every time, we can go to a sit down restaurant for that price. On the way home from Yosemite I searched for a sandwich place and found this Togo's @Ripon. Though the reviews were not great I wanted to give it a try. It was just great! I had Turkey & Avocado and Chicken Caesar both were really good - fresh and tasty. Service was also friendly and quick. Will try again when I pass by Ripon. read more
