Came here with my girlfriend while on our way to Carmel. The customer service was great. The person helping us, she was so kind, helpful and had great energy. We had lunch and learned meeting, and they got sandwiches from this place. It was rich as a sandwich. It had a lot of meat in it. I tried the whole bit sandwich with ham and it was delicious. Then I tried the day after the turkey sandwich and it was good. Some of the staff at work say they don't really like it. However, I found it good because it was rich. In town for the weekend and was looking for something quick and easy. The family loves pastrami and once we read the menu online we had to make a stop! The location was so clean and pristine. We really liked their wall decor and the staff were pleasant to talk to. We ordered a #9 Hot Pastrami, #10 Pastrami Reuben and two #32 Pepper Jack Melts. The general consensus was the bread was a kinda hard to chew might have been a little old. The pastrami a tad spicy and a bit stringy at times. Also, load on more sauerkraut! Everything I ordered was correct these days that's an accomplishment. The food is always good and I've never had any complaints.

Add-ons are avocado, crispy bacon, and melted cheese. At least you know that there are no preservatives in the bread, so don't wait until late afternoon. Choices of bread include Parmesan, sourdough (this one will make your teeth work hard), wheat, or white which was stale. Ordered a California Club, the new BBQ beef, and Triple Dip. So I've never had Togos in my life and I was lucky enough to win a $50 gift card from one of our local station KSBW. So the first time I tried going the guy was a little bit rude and said he was going to help us in 15 minutes we decided not to wait and leave.. Second time I just decided to order through their mobile app and get pick up.. The lady in the back was more friendly than the guy we got last time. I try the chili and it was 5/10 Pastrami sandwich was surprisingly good but it did come with other items that I didn't add to the sandwich. 7/10 Buffalo chicken sandwich was also good. Next time maybe I'll order more Buffalo sauce. It was a bit dry. 7/10 Will I be back? Possibly not. But being my first time trying it. It was good for that it is. read more

Fresh bread and ingredients on a consistent basis 3. Clean store, clean restroom 4. The BEST hot pastrami sandwich in town, best anywhere actually. Let's start with the long hair in the sandwich. Very, very long hair running the length of the meatball sub. We ordered extra meatballs, and there were clearly not extra meatballs. Asked for peperoncinis in the sandwich, and there was 1 peperoncini in the entire sandwich. Who puts one in the whole large sandwich. Not chopped up and distributed throughout the sandwich, just one whole peperoncini sitting on one half of the sandwich and none on the other half. The hot pastrami we ordered with extra pastrami. Surprise! This sandwich not only DIDN'T have extra, it had LESS than a regular. That's right, it was just bread with almost no pastrami in it. At least there were peperoncinis on this sandwich, but they were on there completely whole, meaning the stem cap and completely full of seeds, so every other bit was a mouth full of seeds. This is ridiculous. The sandwiches are already expensive, then when you get charged for extra and you receive LESS THAN REGULAR that's just theft. Two sandwiches that were not filling as a meal cost $40.00. That's just for the sandwiches, no drink, no chips, nothing, just sandwiches. $40.00. In what possible world is that reasonable? I'm 40 and I've been enjoying Togos sandwiches since I was 4 or 5 years old, and I in fact remember my first #9 that I ever had. We've had a string of Togos stores open and close shortly after in this general area, so I was really happy to order from this store even though it was a bit of a drive to get there. Now it seems like this is a company wide systemic problem of lack of oversight and quality control at the stores. I'm really disappointed with this experience and I won't be going back to this store, and likely won't be going to any Togos again since they clearly don't care about their customers anymore, or food cleanliness in general. They obviously aren't hiring quality employees so I'm not sure where all the money is going from these $20 sandwiches. read more

Shout out to the #38!!!! The Buffalo chicken If there is a PERFECT sandwich on their menu this could be it! Flavors all come through in full effect. In this world of over garliced, smothered sauce so you can not taste the main ingredient, when you eat a sandwich like that it's a bad sign. Togos is always consistent with the exception. Better than junk food and I said goodbye to those days along time ago and yes, it is possible to eat healthy here, and don't let anybody tell you different. I've been a Togo's fan since they opened one of their earliest franchise stores in Campbell, CA...around 1985/86...I was a Letter Carrier and it quickly became a favorite lunch spot for many of us at the Post Office. Hearty, tasty and filling sandwiches, quickly made and inexpensive. Over the decades Togo's had always been a decent sandwich shop but like many large scale food places, consistency and quality varied widely as they grew...today few are good. Now mind you, I've eaten at many Togo's all over California...and I'd rate most a 5/6 on a "1 to 10" scale. So...with that said...I can happily brag about the Seaside, Ca., Togo's being one of the best I've ever been to. So good in fact...that I go there nearly every week...sometimes more! (I'm addicted to their cheesesteak sandwiches of late...and no, these are not Philly Cheesesteaks...but Togo's own take on a delicious sandwich. All Togo's have the same ingredients and bread, sauces, etc...so they should all taste identically, however, they don't...and that is always due to the crew at each location. And a good crew boils down specifically to the leadership. At this Seaside Togo's the woman in charge is the manager Natasha. She ensures everything at this store is top notch. I've overheard her on many occasions gently but firmly guiding employees on how to prepare sandwiches, clean areas, you name it. She leads by example and runs a good operation and the result is the ingredients at this Togo's are handled in a manner that allows for them to look and taste their best! Her crew is also competent and friendly...another sign of a good leader. If I have any complaint it is the cost...Togo's is expensive, especially when compared to a few of our local sandwich shops. But, the price doesn't keep me away... and the price has nothing to do with the crew here, obviously. Thank you Natasha and crew!!! OH...and something else I really appreciate...Natasha seems to remember regulars names and is quick to greet you the moment she spots you. The Seaside Togo's...is a 10 out of 10 for me...and again, I can't stress this enough...it's because of Natasha running such a good operation, so try this Togo's...it'll be a good experience! Please note...my previous review wasn't complimentary at all...so again, much can change with a good leader! read more

I haven't been in a Togo's for quite some time. I have to admit that I was really impressed on the overall cleanliness of the restaurant. I was greeted with a friendly cashier that allowed me to browse through the menu. Once I made my selection the food was made fresh to my liking. I will definitely be back again. read more

I had a hankering for a tuna sandwich and they did not disappoint I had it on their Parmesan bread topped with lettuce tomato a little pickle and the pepperocini on the side. Had to stop for a quick bite after we visited 17 Mile Scenic tour. My husband got me a mini turkey avocado sub and I wished I got a bigger sub! Fresh, generous amount of smashed avocado, red onions, turkey and a surprise of a whole Pepperoncini in the middle of the sandwich! Biting into that pepper made thIs sandwich complete. After finding out this business is in Seaside I myself went to order several sandwiches. I had a Pastrami sandwich for myself and a roast beef sandwich for my Mother. That doesn't translate to great food, Togos spends thier money on quality ingredients and clean spacious sandwich shops My go to has been lrg hot pastrami for 2 decades, yes they have many choices, lots of fresh veggies if you prefer. This sandwich heaven has brought me joy ever since I discovered it. Now I'm so happy to experience thier latest creation, BBQ beef sandwich . This is not roast beef with some sauce, that's how everyone else serves it. This tender melt in your mouth delite is simmered in the rich tangy, slightly sweet and just a touch of heat sauce under its just right. No veggies necessary, just beef some sliced onion, adds crunch, and perfection . Not since 1980 have I tasted a BBQ beef sandwich this good a small deli made them the same way. Some things remain just memories of a time long ago, when I tasted this delightful and simple sandwich I was transported back to my childhood. Now it's on my mind every day, not the most nutritional sandwich however sometimes nutrition goes out the window replaced by profound pleasure. Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. Chose an Asian salad and the dressing was delicious snd a happy surprise of a little heat. Large was perfect for two. Went with the Pastrami Cheesesteak with Chipotle mayo and fell in love all over again. Nice heat with the Chipotle! The best part of stopping in was the two managing the location. ****Please Read***** Do not go to this Togo's. My wife and I just ate lunch there and witnessed something inexcusable by the staff. There were 3 people who were working a man and two females. The man who I guess is in charge berated one of the female employees in the dining room about 4 feet from us. He at first was trying to send her home but she ignored him and started sweeping. Then he told her that she wasn't doing it right because she had to clean the tables first. Made sense as the crumbs would fall on the floor then sweep them up. However he then told her just to go on break. He made a comment stating if you're not going to to do it right you shouldn't do it all and then laughed about it. You could tell the woman was embarrassed and upset. The icing on the cake is when the other lady and the man started talking trash in Spanish about the poor woman. Super unprofessional. I'm no longer supporting a business where behavior that border lines harassment is thought of as funny. read more

My experience when walking in was great, young lady staff member acknowledged me. I wanted to get the Triple Dip sandwich as a combo (soup included), but this sandwich is not an option for the combo. So I got the Mini Meatball sandwich combo instead which included a Broccoli Cheddar Soup. I also ordered a Regular sized Triple Dip sandwich and a Large Clubhouse Melt. So I ordered 3 sandwiches total and a soup to go. The male staff member making my sandwich and the gal who took my order were not wearing name badges. While the male staff member was making my sandwiches, I told him that I had also gotten a soup since I ordered the Mini Meatball Combo that came with the soup and he said "OK" that he got it. I just wanted to make sure they wouldn't forget my soup as other sandwich shops have forgotten my soups before. When he was almost done making my sandwiches, he asked me "And you got the soup with that too, correct?" I said "yes." It was then when the gal that took my order heard our conversation and said out loud "I forgot to charge her for the soup!". I looked at her and watched what she would do next. She goes over to the register, but doesn't tell me to come over there. I kindly walk up to the register and asked her "how much do I need to pay you for my soup?". She tells me she doesn't know and that she would have to charge me separately for the soup. I ask her "how much is the soup by itself?" I also mentioned and reminded her that I got a mini meatball combo that comes with a soup. She then tells me that the soup is regular price which is almost $5!!!. I said forget the soup because I was so turned off by the fact that they wanted to charge me regular price for a combo price. Plus, the fact that she forgot to charge me for the soup is not my fault. Other eatery's or restaurants would have understood their mistake and comped the item. No biggie. I should have looked at my receipt after I paid, but since I trusted them with any charges, I didn't check my receipt. The male staff member is finished putting together my order he gives me my bag of sandwiches. I then ask him if the au jus sauce was in the bag? He completely forgot!!! He says "oh, I forgot". Then he proceeds to ask me if I wanted 1 or 2 sauces. WOW!! I am so glad I asked him before leaving because one of the worst feeling & disappointment is when you get home and something is missing, EVERYTHING TASTES like *HIT!!!! It's the feeling you get too. And no I will not drive back to pick up sauce. Both employees did not apologize for their mistakes. If they apologized and was sincere about it, then it would have been understandable. But there was no apology. My experience of tasting and eating the sandwiches: The Clubhouse Melt: They forgot the cheese in the sandwich. I ordered with provolone cheese instead of the cheddar. There was no cheese in my sandwich. Mini Meatball Sandwich: They cut the meatballs in half so you're not even getting whole meatballs in the sandwich. Their menu picture is deceiving as the Meatball Sandwich clearly shows WHOLE MEATBALLS inside of the sandwich. The marinara sauce is on the tangy side and the sandwich was cold. Not to my liking. And the sandwich itself lacks in flavor. I will never get this sandwich again. The Triple Dip Sandwich: This sandwich is OK, not bad. But it is salty. I kept having to Dip the sandwich into the au jus sauce because the sandwich was too salty. If you like meat and saltiness, this is probably the sandwich for you. Overall, I've tried this Togo's location a few times before for my personal orders. I've also picked up a large catered order for a business a few months ago and the service has been good in the past. I've met with the owner for my last catered order as she was the person who was putting together my large catered order when I walked in to pick it up. I think catered sandwiches is to go for this location. But after my recent personal experience here, I will not be coming back to order from here again. I'm also going to be canceling my rewards program with them which I signed up for. No need for it anymore. I will have it MY WAY at another sandwich shop. read more
