    Turkey Club

I was looking for a sandwich shop in the area, and this place caught my attention so we decided to try it. We tried their turkey club and I believe grinder sandwich. Both were good, but we were not necessarily impressed. The staff were very friendly, the shop is super cute with plenty of seating and parking available. We were unfortunately not huge fans of the taste, but I think they might still be worth a try since everyone has different taste buds!!:)

Service was quick. Food was excellent. Must try the garlic fries, they're delicious. I'm not much of a "sandwich" or wrap person but we came two days in a row

Just like the name, this place is 100 percent Local--and who doesn't want to support that? Highlighting local artisans and their goods inside, the decor is a little mismatched but works giving LOCAL a comfortable corner vibe. I ordered the Reuben and was absolutely impressed. Made to order. Made with love. I found myself enjoying the food more because I know I was supporting my neighbor. Portion sizes are pretty large so don't worry about leaving hungry. Only negative I would say is that some of the non-traditional sandwiches can be a bit of a miss. The take on Banh Mi isn't quite hitting the Vietnamese mark for me--but that may be from the fact that I prefer my mom's. If you want to experience solid food and support local, this is the place to go.

We stopped in today on our way to the beach for some sandwiches. Oh my gosh my Ruben was delightful!!! Definitely stop in and try out this place.

BFF and I popped by today and it was not busy - 1 customer ahead of us. Marcus was making their sandwiches but greeted us upon entering and answered our questions. When I couldn't decide between the cold and hot Italian, he recommended the hot. I'm so glad he did because it was perfect! We ended up with that and the Reuben. Also had the macaroni salad and "Mom's Potato Salad." Not sure whose mom made it but it was perfect! Not too saucy, skin-on potatoes, red onions, celery, pickles...so darn yummy - a perfect potato salad! Definitely will be back to work our way down the menu and to chat up Marcus more. I'm not at all understanding the reviews of Marcus being rude or racist - my lunch partner is non-white and we received friendly service with a smile and did not at all get that vibe. Thanks for the great sammies and sides - had the kettle chips and beverages as well. Will definitely be back again and will support the local artists whose goods are for sale next time as well!

I'm gonna plan every trip to the Monterey area around eating here. I wish I discovered this place sooner. I ordered Rubin and it was splendid. From grandma's potato salad was off the chain.

Delicious sandwiches here and great VIBES! We needed a quick bite before a graduation ceremony and this place was open on a Saturday before 11. Great selection of sandwiches, true deli counter with meats sliced fresh to order. I saw they had a Cubano and had to try it! Omg it was so good! Perfect amount of cheese and meat-loved it! Tried out a new brand of chips. They also have a nice selection of locally made art and crafts. Very cool place! Friendly greeting when we walked in and great service.

I had seen this place on yelp the last time that I worked in the area. We had the time and hunger today to make it a point to stop by. Located in a small shopping center, there is tons of parking. It's in the corner near the liquor store and busy ice cream parlor. The inside is simple and old school. They even have a neo geo arcade system, major cool nostalgic points for that! I was torn between the brisket and tri tip but the gentleman told me that the tri tip wasn't ready so brisket it was. Pretty good and fresh. The bread was really good and sandwich came out in decent time. I went to the liquor store for a soda and chips. They have beverages in this establishment but single cans and juices. Inside the store is a lot of local art and products to buy like honey or jam. It seems like a staple in the community where a lot of regulars come. The service was really good too for there only being one guy running the show. Very friendly and full of good energy with banter. I left here feeling better that I got good food and service while supporting a small business. If im in the area again for work, I'll be sure to try something else on the menu. They actually had a daily special that I saw after I got my food. It sounded like a better choice but there's always next time.

3.5 STARS HELLO,…read moreMEAT SWEATS! Escaping the 4th of July warzone in The City, we headed to Carmel for a quiet staycation. The Carmel food scene tends to be mid and overpriced so I was in search of more affordable, local gems in Seaside and Marina areas. And...TikTok brought me to The Meatery, a boutique butcher shop and eatery. BUTCHER SHOP Array of ethically sourced meats - amazing looking marbled steaks, pork, veal, and handcrafted sausages (Mmm, blood sausage and fermented garlic sausage!). They also have house-made sauces and spice blends, condiments, compound butters, duck fat, and more. There's even fresh dog food (e.g. beef sirloin, brown rice, and blueberries) which I bought for my dogs. EATERY Made-to-order sandwiches and BBQ (brisket, pulled pork, ribs, etc) in the hot case. House-made sides (potato salad, mac salad, and kimchi) are available in the cold case. Bottled drinks including beer available. You can order ahead online but we ordered in-person. Note: Check Toast for the most up-to-date prices; the online menu has the old prices. There's about 6 tables for dine-in. Self-serve water. Bus your own tables when finished. F O O D * 18 Hour Smoked Brisket Sandwich ($18): https://tinyurl.com/rceamucw - Requested mix of wet/moist and lean brisket A signature item, the brisket sandwich was sorely disappointing. While I enjoyed the fresh, soft bun, tangy cola-cola bbq sauce, and acidic pickled onions, the lean brisket was very dry and tough (at opening time). * Calamari Steak Po'Boy Sandwich ($18): https://tinyurl.com/yn7zsvz6 The unique coastal twist on a New Orleans classic sounded promising on paper. The sesame roll was light and fluffy, and the slaw had a delicious creamy tang. Unfortunately, the thin, fried calamari steak was dry and chewy, while the heavily salted breadcrumbs overwhelmed its delicate flavor. * Dino Beef Rib ($21.50/lb): https://tinyurl.com/j8dsxnvc Eyeing this on another table, we decided to order it after trying the sandwiches. Def the highlight of our meal - the beef rib was rich, tender, and deeply savory. Not overly fatty with a crispy bark. Light on the seasoning and smoke so the tangy BBQ sauce came through for a boost of flavor. * Wedge Fries ($8) Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the wedges were dusted with their house seasoning mix (savory w/ a touch of smoky flavor) and served with a side of their fermented chipotle ketchup. * Kimchi Cucumber ($7.50) A blend of napa cabbage and thinly sliced cucumbers, the kimchi was mild and tangy. The perfect acidic in-between bites. S E R V I C E Warm, friendly service. Food came out fast. Overall, maybe we visited on an off day for the eatery. I can see why The Meatery is a local fav for their butcher shop tho. I mean, if I lived nearby, I would be all over 'em sausages! P.S - 3.5 stars rounded up for a small business.

Well after my comical round of golf that day,I returned to the shop and I truly stumbled upon a true hidden gem of a sandwich shop. I went with a buddy and we ended up getting two types of sandwiches and we split them. We ordered the Hot Pastrami ($15.00) and the aforementioned Tri-Tip Sandwich($16.00) We also got a large potato salad they offered-not sure on pricing on that. So let's talk about the sandwiches. I really enjoyed the Pastrami quite a bit-it was for sure one of the best Pastramis I've ever tasted, not too fatty and perfectly seasoned. The Tri-Tip though-that was exactly what I thought it would be-true showstopper. You ever have a food item that was so good that it almost kinda pisses you off because you now know this level exists and most likely won't find it again like this?....Well that's what this item was-perfection Tri-Tip on a really well-made sandwich. Their potato salad was really high level as well, total creaminess with perfect balance of seasonings-I could never make mine this well. Their high level of food explained why when I arrived at the little market there were 7-8 people in line in front of us. Parking for this location is all street parking as this place is truly just a little neighborhood market located in a residential neighborhood-If you blinked when driving by,one could miss it. But that doesn't stop them from delivering very high quality food and a permanent stop on my must-visit list whenever I go back to the Monterey area...You should do the same-it's great.

When we arrived they had a small parking lot but busy because they do a lot of Door Dash and Uber Eats business. Once inside I took a quick look at the menu and saw they had breakfast burritos of either Chorizo-Sausage-Ham-Bacon or Veggie. I chose Chorizo breakfast burrito($10.39) The shop is run by the owner-he was the cashier and the cook. In talking to him,he was telling me that his family owns multiple Mexican small shops like this in the Juarez Mexico area and El Paso Texas area.Says that all the shops use the same recipe for their hot sauce that is served with the burritos. Once the burrito arrived,it was both heavy and warm.Once I cut it open,I was able to appreciate the craftsmanship of this burrito in all its chorizo, egg, potato and cheese glory-it was beautiful. As pretty as it was though,it tasted even better,I had planned on only eating half of it as I had a tee time in less than an hour but one bite led to another and then it was gone. I've had many breakfast burritos in my day and as unexpected as this is to say, this may have been the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. Also the aforementioned family-recipe hot sauce that came with the burrito was so spicy yet so tasty--perfect combo to a perfect burrito. In closing,if you ever find yourself in the Monterey area and you want to treat yourself to some upper echelon breakfast burritos-do yourself a favor and stop at 3 Mundos sandwich shop-a top tier food experience awaits.

I got their version of a chicken parm in the Dutch crunch bread with added tomato and lettuce. They also added the Ike's sauce which was weird because it's not listed on the menu and when the man read back to me what would be on my sandwich he didn't mention it. Thankfully it wasn't overbearing so I barely noticed it. But I don't know if they are rationing the marinara but there was barely any on the sandwich. The fried chicken also has no flavor or texture. So even though the sandwich has plenty on it it just lacks flavor. My husband got a BLT with avocado. Again it was just fine, nothing special and it lacked flavor as well. For $12 - $15 per sandwich I always want more from it. The sandwiches are a decent size and can be split into 2 meals. So the price is fair.
