Spicy honey chicken with hibachi rice

Came here to eat as a quick stop on my way to Verona, New York... This place has very very good lunch prices.(didn't see the lunch prices on the actual menu, but they are on yelp.) As for what we ordered, we ordered the two sushi rolls and the spicy honey chicken. Sushi was done nicely good flavor, tight rolls. as for the spicy honey chicken, which came with a small bowl of hibachi rice rice was good definitely had that nice hibachi taste. The tempura on the chicken was cooked. Very well nice and crispy. Just the way I like it and the honey sauce was on point!! This might be our stop from now on each time we make it to upstate New York..

Nice inexpensive tasty food. Nice fried dishes and sushi. Good variety and fast service.

stopped by here on my way home...i ordered one of the sashimi bento boxes and i didn't finish all the pieces out of fear of getting food poisoning. i got a tummy ache later from eating the pieces i ingested. the restaurant needs gordon ramsey in ever way possible.

In Ilion doing training and felt like sushi. This place in Herkimer came up with some great ratings. We are starting out in a good way. They have a heavy Japanese accent and I asked for the naruto roll and although not on menu, they are making it for me. If you do t know what this is, well you will have t check out the picture. Started with small salad and miso soup. Nix the miso soup. The spicy tuna was delicious but could had been a touch more spicy. Also four rolls seems a little on the short side for me. The tuna roll was delicious and volcano roll hit the spot. All in all good tasting smaller portions hence the four star. I'd stop here again passing through. The waitress was nice and I think her dad waited on me. No English. Price was spot on $14.00

Super bento box meals. The red dragon roll was so good!

She was attentive and knowledgeable, and when we asked about the Papaya Seafood dish (we were specifically looking for the papaya), she explained that many customers do not like papaya, so the restaurant removed it from the dish and now only uses the sauce. While that was not indicated on the menu, the dish itself still tasted good, and we appreciated her clear explanation. Most of the food overall was decent and enjoyable. We ordered the hibachi filet and shrimp, avocado roll, California roll, miso soup, and spring roll. Everything was prepared well and met expectations for a casual Japanese restaurant. Unfortunately, the experience took a turn that overshadowed the meal. After I casually asked our waitress if she spoke Mandarin (which she did, and she kindly explained several things to us in Mandarin), a manager-looking woman wearing a dark green dress abruptly inserted herself into the conversation without invitation. She commented, "Oh, I couldn't tell you're Chinese," and then proceeded to ask an unsolicited and politically sensitive question: "Do you think Taiwan is part of China?" She continued to press political opinions that were completely unrelated to dining and entirely uninvited. Introducing politically charged topics to customers during a meal is highly inappropriate and unprofessional. Regardless of personal views, this is not something that belongs in a business setting, especially in a restaurant where guests are simply trying to enjoy their evening. Because of this interaction, we have decided not to return. Good food and service cannot compensate for uncomfortable, forced political discussions. Businesses should focus on hospitality, not politics.

I'll admit it, I was skeptical. We stopped in here for lunch after our second day at the Hall of Fame. We were seated immediately and had a drink order in before we were even settled. Wifey and I were really hungry so we may have overdone it a bit, but it was vacation! We ordered and Eel cucumber hand roll, Angel roll (spicy tuna and cucumber insider with eel and avocado on top), Mt Fuji roll (shrimp tempura and cucumber inside with spicy Kanu on top), Cooperstown roll (shrimp tempura cucumber spicy tuna on top), an Alaska Roll (salmon cucumber avocado), Vegetable tempura, and Wasabi Shumai - pork dumplings. Or service was great because they didn't just dump a pile of sushi on our table...they brought the food in stages which made for pleasant surprises with each stop. While we were here at lunchtime they only seemed to be offering sushi and the appetizers. The only negative I can provide was that it was a rainy humid day so the floor in this place was a bit slippery. Other than that I'd come back in a heartbeat.
