Pretty good. First time trying out the restaurant and I was giving good recommendations about it so I decided to try out on a late weekend night. It was pretty good. I can't lie full of flavor and have everything that I could be looking for as far as favors were concerned. I would definitely come back, especially for what I ordered.

Taste: 4/5 Value: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 We had a great experience at Tokyo Teppan Cafe. They offer ramen, bento boxes, or build your own hibachi bowls. They also have a couple fried sushi options listed in the appetizers section. We were impressed by the prices here and pleased with the portion sizes. Everything tasted good and the staff seemed really nice. You order at a counter and the food is brought to your table when it's ready. Decent amount of seating available.

Tokyo Teppan Cafe serves build your own hibachi bowls with good flavors and reasonable prices. The food was prepared well, and portions were fair. The atmosphere is simple, and the service was efficient. It's a solid option for a casual meal.

The food was super good, stopped in before my appointment across the street. The space was pretty clean and the girl working was very nice.

We stumbled upon this café while trying to figure out what to eat. The whole experience was great. The prices are great for what you get and the teas and Boba were decent. I would not get the boba again but my meal was great. It was flavorful and the portion was decent. The employees were super friendly and patient when I was trying to figure what to order and they also provide you with a bottle of shrimp sauce if you decide to eat in.

Highly recommend this spot! this place is delicious and affordable. I love the noodles there, the chicken and steak are all great options. I keep coming back here. Tofu is really good, so is the boba. The staff there is nice and the place is well decorated inside

Got a flyer in the mail to give them a try! The restaurant is minimalistic, but has a good amount of seating. The decor is nice with Japanese inspired artifacts and pictures. The service was fantastic! The cashier was very pleasant and helpful with recommending the BBQ Chicken. The food was excellent! The value for the price was amazing! The Krab Rangoon we're some of the best I've ever had! The gotta were perfectly steamed and didn't taste off like most places I've been. The chicken bowl with fried rose was fantastic! It was both very filling and delicious! The yum yum sauce was perfect! It had a subtle flavor that didn't have a heavy Mayo taste (like some places in the shopping center by the pet shop "hint" "hint"). The food and price will keep me coming back for more!!

I liked it here for fast casual dining. The sushi options are extremely limited but very tasty. The service was exceptional, everyone who helped us was very helpful and genuinely friendly. We ordered the chicken bento,a noodle bowl, edamame, fried gyoza. Nothing was seasoned extraordinarily but we still enjoyed our experience overall.

Kinley was so sweet so kind so personable. It was our first time here and I changed my mind twice about what I wanted to eat and she didn't make me feel weird about changing my mind. She came over to our table and spoke with us. She checked on us make sure we had everything we needed. We'll be back, and we hope she's here when we come visit again. This is our new favorite spot because if Kinley and how good the food is.

Most impressive was the stir fry noodles which actually were cooked perfectly. Not slobbered with sauce. Not gloopy. They were almost dry as the sauce was absorbed into the noodles as it should be. The restaurant was nicely decorated, much nicer than most of the casual Japanese restaurants that we have recently visited including some in the fancy parts of Winter Park. Nomi has quality chairs and booths! Too many casual food places use these cheap aluminum chairs, not this place, Nomi has first rate chairs. You know it matters, if you're spending hard earned money you shouldn't have to eat on picnic table like furniture. Well, at least I think so... The food selections allow for budget conscious people like me, plus there are other items on the menu if you're looking to splurge, which I bet are amazing. We had a mix of appetizers, shrimp tempura and sushi rolls -everything was great! The place is located in East Orlando at the end of 408, just off E. colonial. There is usually only minimal traffic in this area, and Nomi had plenty of parking out front. We all agreed, Nomi will be our go to place for casual Japanese dinners.

This time I went with my husband and we ordered a few small plates and an espresso martini. The espresso martini was pretty standard, but we've definitely had better. The shishito peppers were okay, but I feel like I've gotten more in the past with an order. The karaage was highly disappointing, the sauce was overwhelming and made the fried chicken coating slightly soggy. I think a dry seasoning would've paired better. The beef cheek had nice presentation, but didn't really impress with the flavor; there's better places for yakitori. The otoro we got was decent. The ribs were my favorite of the night with good sauce and they fell off the bone. And then my real favorite of the night was the ube cheesecake, so delicious and flavorful! The service was great and the server was helpful in bringing us a happy hour menu after we asked. Interior was dark and had good vibes for a date night.

I don't feel they do a great job explaining their menu to people who are unfamiliar with udon, especially cuz there are no pictures for them to see what they're ordering. It was fine for me as I'm super familiar with Japanese food. We got tempura udon, which is something I've been craving, and they did a great job. I highly recommend it. We didn't feel like a cocktail so I got an iced tea and he got a viet coffee but they served it in a cocktail glass so it was such a small amount... def shoulda been served in a tall glass, cuz why do I have to be slowly sipping that c'mon. Of the zensai (appetizers), I've tried the Tatsuta-Age, which was pretty tasty. Hot and crispy with good flavor. The udon is also top notch. They make it in house. Perfect chewy texture, what Taiwanese would call "QQ" I realized after my second visit that I still have not tried an udon with hot broth. I've tried the Spicy Miso Tan-Tan Udon, which was quite tasty, although a little on the richer/heavier side. I have also tried the Mentaiko Tsukimi Udon which was refreshing in the cold broth. I paired it with an add-on of sliced beef, which was delicious, they serve it on the side so you can add to whatever dish on your own. What I wouldn't recommend... The Viet Coffee with sesame foam and crushed sesame seeds was hard to drink. I loved the initial flavors but the foam got a little greasy and clumpy when mixed with the crushed sesame seeds, particularly toward the second half of the coffee. I wouldn't order it again. I would be interested to see any updates they've made recently but with so many new restaurants on Mills, I may choose those first.
