Service: Fast, friendly, and your order comes out fast during lunch time. Salmon roll: Big piece of salmon and cucumber. Salmon portion takes about 75% of the roll, very generous and worth if you're a salmon lover. Krab roll: Imitation roll with cucumber. It's okay, but I would recommend to order a different roll. Teriyaki and Combo bowl menu Chicken bowl Happy Hour with free ice cream! Green tea ice cream: Flavor is really light, you won't be able to taste the green tea. Sweetness is on the lighter side.

Alaska Roll

I ordered Salmon Handroll, Alaska Roll, and a Spicy Ramen Keep in mind, my rating is for other restaurants within the same price range. I am not comparing this to Nobu quality, but will compare it to other small sushi places. Now lets continue with the review: The Salmon Handroll was very good, the salmon tasted nice and fresh and the size was very generous. I would recommend to get this. The Alaska roll was a great size, generous salmon slices, and good flavor. There is a good amount of sauce and some like that more than others so keep that in mind. I'd recommend to order this. The Spicy Ramen was a great size and has a great kick to it. The overall flavor is pretty similar to one of the ramen packets and the noodles are the same as well. I personally really enjoy that, gives me nostalgia and tastes great. If you order this don't expect some super quality ramen, but it tastes really good and it's hard to find a nice simple basic ramen like this and most places. I would recommend to order this. The ambiance is nice and casual, food came out quick, and staff is very friendly and attentive. This is a locally owned place which I always try to support and the give free ice cream after. I would recommend to come here if you want good affordable sushi.

Happy Hour menu... Mon-Thurs ALL DAY!!!

I love it here. I get the same things all the time and I have never been disappointed. They do take out and dine in orders. Happy hour is Monday thru Thursday ALL DAY!!! Small beer selection but it gets the job done.

It's been awhile since we came back to this place, sushi is still delicious, it was busy when we came but they have a lot of servers, the orders came out very fast. They still have free ice cream. The only downside is their mixed tempura only has one shrimp and the rest are vegetables.

Miso soup

Great place, tasty food and friendly service made for an amazing dinner experience. We decided to split an entree but they brought us two bowls of soup. They offer free and delicious ice cream at the end of the meals which is a great bonus! I highly recommend!

Happy hour menu is very worth it. Tuna and salmon poke bowl, for happy hour menu, had amazing portions. Baked scallop roll was also well cooked and tasty. Ambiance of the restaurant just felt like any other sushi restaurant. Easy parking as well. Also, for thos that like dessert, they offer free ice cream at the end of your meal.

My hometown got to spot for sushi! My sister and I decided to have lunch here during my lunch break. Luckily they had Happy Hour during that time so it was even better! We walked in and were seated right away. As it was Friday afternoon it wasn't busy. We normally order about the same go to food items: 1. Salmon Hand Rolls: they always stuff the rolls with big chunks of salmon 2. Salmon Sushi: nice big cut of sashimi on top of a decent size portion of rice 3. Role Poly: the two pieces were huge! 4. Garlic Edamame: serving size was quite a bit but I loved it! 5. Cucumber Salad: serving size never disappoints, also refreshing with all the other dishes. 6. Takoyaki: good size portion! 7. Fried Tofu: my favorite food item to order, soft and flavorful with the sauce! Everything came out really quick and fresh! Servers would come by ever so often to check up on us and to clear out empty plates. At the end of our meal they ask if you would like complimentary ice cream, and they tell you which flavors they have for that day. Both my sister and I went with Cookies and Cream. Best time to come here is during Happy Hour: Monday-Thursday all day and from 11a-5p Friday-Sunday. All the staff are attentive and friendly. When it's a weeknight or weekend they are always busy. It's located in the Stater Bros Strip Mall so there is plenty of parking all around. Pricing is reasonable too!

Nigori Pineapple Sake was delicious! Demolished the food!

Tokyo Town Sushi was a great experience. I ordered the Sunkissed Roll and the Deluxe Sashimi while my buddy had the Spider Roll-- all were very good, and the sashimi tasted especially fresh. The light skinned female Asian waitress was amazing and super friendly. She gave great recommendations, including the Sunkissed Roll, which I'm glad I tried. The ambiance was nice and quiet when I came, which made the whole meal even more enjoyable. I'll definitely be back!

Judging by the broth alone--which gives the ramen its signature identity--it stands out because it doesn't have that heavy fishy taste and smell. You can also ask them to serve the spicy sauce on the side so you can add it yourself and adjust the spice level to your taste. (2) Shrimp Tempura: Fried just right. The coating is light and crispy. (3) Crunch Roll: Perfect and very fresh every time! SERVICE: Our female server was kind and attentive, and our food came out very fast but keep in mind that we went just before lunchtime where only 2 tables were occupied. Although I noticed they stay busy with lots of take- outs and delivery orders. The lady who might be the owner was so accommodating and helpful when I asked about their party platter. AMBIANCE: A small and clean spot with nice but simple decor. They also added the Cherry blossom that wasn't there the last time we dined. PARKING: Could be hectic especially during busy hours, as it is shared with multiple businesses.

On the other hand, that could also lead to customers for other businesses taking up spots, but I haven't personally had any issues with parking. It isn't the largest restaurant, but it doesn't usually get so busy that the place is packed and there wouldn't be enough seating. The interior remains quite minimal and clean, and the staff are friendly and get the food out relatively quickly. I decided to get the keto burrito, which was surprisingly more filling that I thought it would be. There was tuna and shrimp tempura enveloped by a papery thin surrounding (which seems to be soy paper, even though it looks like untextured rice in video game sushi models from the 2000s). I believe it was ~$15 if I remember correctly; a bit pricey for the quality but I guess you can blame inflation and whatnot. Either way, a pretty solid meal that I didn't have many big qualms with, but nothing to really boast about either. Overall, Giant Ramen & Sushi is a solid place to stop by for lunch if you're in the area. I believe you get free ice cream if you pay in cash also, so that's cool. Generally pretty average tasting food, and the price is a little much to be honest.

Could they maybe include it in the togo order? The amazing host/server (Michelle) asked me what it was... a cone shaped deep fried thing filled with imitation crab? Typically, no, since it's dine in only and given at the discretion of the chef, if he feels like it. But she was super nice and we tipped regardless. When she returned with our order, she said she threw it in there for us. No way? And she even wrote us a note on top of the box "Have a good night! Enjoy :)" I love her so much! And especially the sushi chef in the back, who wrapped our rolls with love. I did feel like there was a little more rice than I would like but honestly it was gone in minutes and everything was as fresh and lovingly arranged as I remember. It filled us up super efficiently and I do appreciate having a solid sushi spot for a decent price and consistently amazing service. It always smells soooooo good inside. Thank you!

Some of the pop working were super helpful and friendly and others, it felt like when they brought you food they practically tossed it on the table or didn't ask if you needed anything else. I'm not sure if it's because everything is ordered from a machine table side. I did appreciate the waiter going over the menu and the limitations on certain items. The appetizers on the menu that I tried were a miss. I had the shumai dumplings and they were horrible. They did not taste like shumai and were mushy. The chicken thigh yakitori was nicely grilled and the sauce had great flavor, but it was greasy. The garlic shrimp was good but it was a total catfish because they looked nothing like the menu I really enjoyed the carpaccio options they had but without the upgraded ayce you're limited to two orders of two pieces only. The fish was fresh and I loved the sauces and garnish they added to the overall flavor. The salmon belly and yellowtail belly nigiri were amazing and I loved that they don't give you a huge chunk of rice with it. I was able to taste the fish. I had a variety of their no rice rolls but in my opinion, a lot of them are one dimensional. I didn't care much for the crab mixture they use in their rolls. It was too sweet and was lacking texture. Even the veggie roll was a let down. It was far from a veggie roll with crunchy fresh veggies, instead it had a glop of avacado, soggy cucumber, and a single soggy piece of asparagus. The ambiance is chill. They have music playing in the background and it's a vibe. There's table, booth, bar, and outdoor seating. They can definitely accommodate a large crowd but I would call ahead to ensure you don't have a crazy wait. This place got pretty crowded as the night went on. Overall, it was an ok experience and I don't think I'd consider eating here again because it took over 10min to get the check and over 20min to get the last roll requested. I ended up requesting a manager because we confirmed the last order was in but it never came! We could walk out and not pay, that's how disconnected they are.

We have passed this restaurant so many times with the realization that there was this little humble…read morerestaurant in a huge plaza, but never quite remembered to go back to try it. Today was the day, as I was craving sushi and remembered it, so in we went. Zero regrets! Ambiance/Service (3/5): We went around 1 PM on a Saturday and it was surprisingly dead in there; we were the only ones who dined in and there was only one customer picking up an order the entire time we were there. However, it didn't feel awkward. There was a TV playing on medium volume and the older Korean owners were really nice and made us feel welcomed. They gave us two bowls of complimentary miso soup (which our toddlers loved). Food came out relatively quickly. It definitely has mom n' pop vibes which I love. Decor was minimal but clean and the restaurant was well maintained. I think the place would make a nice casual dinner date. Food/Value (4/5): We ordered the udon with 4-piece spicy tuna roll combo, the mixed tempura appetizer, a baked salmon roll and a California roll. The total came out to $51.25. Prices are super fair for what you get, especially if you're craving special rolls or want a little of everything (they have so many combos). I'll review our food specifically below: -Udon & spicy tuna combo (3/5): Udon came in a pretty big bowl with udon, fish cake, green onions, and tempura flakes. Udon was nice and chewy, but the soup itself felt like it could use more depth. My husband wasn't a huge fan of the spicy tuna roll; he noted that the flavor wasn't the best, texture was bit different and the roll itself was loosely packed. He said he'd skip the spicy tuna next time. -Mixed Tempura (5/5): This was delicious. It came crispy and hot, with ten pieces total--2 each of pumpkin, potato, zucchini, carrot, and shrimp. The kids loved it and the sauce complimented it well. -Baked salmon roll (4/5): This was tasty, but it left something to be desired. I guess I'm used to heavier baked rolls with more creamy sauce reminiscent of a rice casserole made into a roll. Their rendition is essentially salmon placed on top of a CA roll with a drizzle of some sort of sweet soy sauce, but it was tasty nonetheless. -California roll (5/5): Awesome price and awesome taste. Loved every bite. I would come again just to order multiple of these. They don't skimp on the filling. Overall, I would give this place a 4 because it was a great lunch experience. We live relatively close, so this might be my go-to sushi craving place in the future. Would definitely come again and support this little mom n' pop shop!
