Service was quick and thank you to the staff who helped me load six 40lbs salt pellets Diamond Crystal bright & soft($8.99) to my car. Also I have their rewards app so I was able to use a $10 coupon off over $50 spending. Without the coupon, their regular retail price $8.99 is a bit more costly than Home Depot $6.73 per pack (bulk price -6packs or more or $7.48 regular price) but with the coupon it offsets the large price gap. I am paying about $4 more than Home Depot but I think about the time I save for check out and I won't need to do the heavy lifting all by myself. Their service speed really helps when you know you can make a quick stop to get things done in a short amount of time. I hope ACE can think about offering bulk pricing on sale pellets in the future so their price is more comparable to Home Depot. I also noticed that they now got pies by the entrance! I know where to get some pies the next time I crave for it.

There were 5 people in front of me with two being served but I waited about 5 minutes plus with no progress. I decided to try another plumbing shop in an adjacent building. I was able to walk in, get my part and back on my way in less than 5 minutes to get back to work on my project. Price was 20% higher than Home Depot (out of the part) but it was convenient, good customer service and quick. I was happy to find the part and not wait too long in a line. Very good experience.

This review is a few months overdue, but I wanted to make sure I shared my experience…read more We purchased our pavers from Peninsula Building Materials for my project and I had a very positive experience working with Kevin Castner and the entire PBM team throughout the entire process. I originally had my pool deck installed back in 2009 and I wanted to match for my current project. Kevin helped coordinate a special-order request by working with the manufacturer's representative to especial order the exact product. After about two months, the pavers arrived and were delivered. However, I noticed right away that the quality was not the same as my original pavers. Since it was a large order, I was very stressed and immediately contacted Kevin to see what could be done. Kevin quickly arranged for a sales representative to come to my home and inspect the pavers. After reviewing them, the representative explained that the manufacturing materials had changed compared to the original product. As an end user, I would not have known this difference or how it might affect the final result. Unfortunately, the return request was initially denied. Kevin didn't stop there--he escalated the issue to higher management on my behalf. Within just a few days, the return was approved. He then helped me quickly reorder a different paver option so my contractors could continue the project without delay. Throughout the entire process, Kevin was extremely responsive, patient, and supportive. In addition, when I visited their showroom, I purchased some natural stone pieces on clearance for my patio steps. After the installation was partially done, I realized the color did not match my patio as expected, and Kevin kindly accepted the return without any hassle. Overall, Kevin was incredibly kind and helpful, and the rest of the Peninsula Building Materials team was also very professional and supportive. Their pricing was also unbeatable for the quality and service provided. I highly recommend them for excellent customer service and their willingness to go the extra mile. Thank you so much, Kevin!

We got three yards of a mix of their standard planter mix soil and their organic (fifty / fifty) and chose their delivery option (you can also do a pick up using your own bags). We had a very good experience working with the guys in the office figuring out what we need. We had some hiccups as getting the dirt as their supplier delivery was delayed which delayed our delivery and we had a mix up on a call in add in order, but we are happy as they took care of the problems and very carefully delivered our dirt where we needed (avoiding hitting our house or our boys basketball hoop which was a tight fit :)). I would recommend this place and will likely use them again as we put gravel around our raised garden beds.
