I purchased a reasonably priced bathroom vanity, countertop and sink. I was astounded at the value I received for the a bargain price. I was expecting that the cabinet may be of lesser quality. Not so!!!! Everything was of a quality that surpassed similar cabinets that I saw at Lowes, Home Depot and Amazon that cost more than 2 times as much. T The staff was so helpful and provided great advice and made sure that the vanity would meet my needs and work with the plumbing fixtures under my current sink. I am looking to replace the countertops in my kitchen. I will definitely consider taking advantage of their reasonable prices. Keep in mind, they don't do fabrication, delivery or installation. You will need a contractor or other knowledgeable assistance to install cabinets. The various reasonably priced slabs will require a fabricator. The facility was easy to find and in a well maintained building. The displays and samples were helpful. Their selection was fantastic. read more

They will design your kitchen for you on paper 3-D printed in a matter of 10 minutes. They make it so easy and the three ladies that work there in the front are the nicest people you would ever meet. I've been to the ones in Hayward in San Leandro takes forever to get loaded up. It's like the guys are mad because they have to load your truck here I back up hand of my paper five or 10 minutes loaded up and on my way to the job site. read more

Wow! Seeing some of the negative reviews here doesn't jive with my experience. We cannot find a better value anywhere for cabinets, granite, fixtures and we have renovated many homes over the years. Kingway is very professional, from measurements to installation. My recommendation is to have Kingway do the installation, including counter tops, sinks, etc. They go the extra mile to insure you are satisfied before leaving the job. On one of our installs the gentleman even fabricated a fireplace hearth from the extra granite for free before leaving job at 8:00pm! Cabinets are quality wood construction, soft close hardware, extra features (i.e. carousels, etc). If you are cost conscious and like their product selections they can't be beat! read more

It seems I am in the minority with this review, but I guess I am fortunate enough to have had a fantastic experience here. We wanted to get new kitchen cabinets and countertops and had no idea where to start. A friend and a few realtors recommended Kingway, so we decided to give it a try. We walked in one day and was greeted and we said we were just looking around. No one helped us while we were looking in the back. Before I walked out, I decided to ask if someone can help me. The lady who helped is named Kay and she is amazing, fast, knowledgeable, friendly, and she answered my MANY, MANY questions throughout and never showed impatience. We came back w/ my measurements, we sat down and she had a design for us within an hour. She even made recommendations. Once we were happy with the design, her contractor came out and took measurements for $200, which went towards the order as long as you go w/ them for the job. I came back to put 50% deposit for them to order. It was ready within a week. I had my kitchen demo on a monday and tuesday. 2 contractdors from kingway came out on wed and thursday to install all cabinets, hardware (I purchased on Amazon), sink, fabrication and installation of quartz countertops and they washed down the backyard and cleaned up the kitchen!! They were so helpful and friendly as well. They probably didn't have as many choices, but they had exactly what I was looking for. Kay made all the difference too because her and I were in constant contact and she really made great recommendations and she really knows her stuff. Note: i went to home depot w/ the same measurements to get a design and after 3 hours, they barely had the cabinets designed and the cost was more than twice as much! read more

I went there today as my contractor is using them to get my counter tops. I was there for 20 minutes and was never greeted. I understand that the gal behind the counter was helping another customer but it really isn't difficult to day, "Hi. Be with you in 20 minutes" or "Hi. Look around and I will be with you in 2 hours" but to not say anything is bad business. I walked around the storeroom in the back looking for the granite samples. I saw several people who also ignored me. One guy was near me so I said,"Excuse me" but he just walked on. It was weird actually. So I left. If my contractor hasn't paid them then I will ask to use a different company that wants my business or at least has manners. It really was not a great feeling to have driven out in the rain for 40 minutes on a Friday afternoon from San Ramon to be ignored and not be any closer to countertop selection than before. read more

I was looking to remodel a 1949 kitchen in a duplex I own in Livermore. I heard about these guys. I was a little nervous about it but I have to tell you, they were awesome from start to finish!!! I went in with my measurements, they drew them up, I paid $200 for them to come and do a final measurement (which you get back if you order thru them) and two weeks later I had my cabinets, counter tops, pulls and kitchen sink. It was an absolutely wonderful experience. Two guys came in over a Friday and Saturday and did the entire installation. Protected the floors, cleaned up after themselves. Just awesome!! If I could give a "zero star" review I would. We're working on a moderate size renovation and went to their showroom twice. The first time everyone ignored us, but we though it was because we were there near the close of business. The second time, the women at the front counter were uninterested in helping us and simply rude. Upon walking through the door, there were 3 women in the office area, they did not bother to greet us. A business like Kingway construction makes a strong case for yelp to introduce negative star. Unfortunately, I could only settle for one which looks like a compliment. Similar to fellow yelpers, I made the blunder of trusting them to purchase few kitchen cabinets out of an emergency. Ordering was a breeze, but subsequent delivery started the nightmare. As my contractor opened the cabinets during the install process, all of them turned out to be dinged or badly stained. Upon calling, the tone was a complete denial and a stern reminder of 25% restocking fee. My contractor was generous enough to take the entire stack back to the store to show them what we were dealing with. The store folks initially tried their best to blame it on the handling but then the stains and cracks eventually forced to change their mind. They reluctantly accepted to replace the damaged doors with the ones in the stock. It turned out that most of the pieces in stock have similar issues where they try to hide the blemishes by staining them. We had to struggle to find doors that are replaceable, but eventually were able to change and load them back to the truck. But out of the blue, the employee who was supervising , decided to change her mind and told us to unload the package and return the doors. I was appalled at her audacity and unwanted aggression. Finally I decided its not worth dealing with them and decided to return. To my surprise, they packed the defective ones back and I'm sure it'll be gladly passed on to some future customers who might easily overlook. My two cents, STAY AWAY from this place. read more

Horrible business practices. Will never use them. I tried to order a granite slab to surround a new sink and blend with my existing slab. I gave them the exact dimensions including holes for fixtures, but the manager said they couldn't do it unless they also installed it, and they couldn't guarantee better than 1/8" tolerance. I agreed, even though I planned on installing myself. When I went to finalize, they said they couldn't install the slab after all and wouldn't cut one for me to install. I ended up floating a concrete surround. I should have gone to Souzas or another reputable granite store. read more

I was very impressed with Kingway. Our contractor gave me a drawing with measurements of our kitchen. I walked into Kingway and was immediately greeted by Timberly. She put all of the measurements into their system and made a plan/blueprint of what our new kitchen would look like. I'm very visual, so this was awesome to see. I had lots of questions and made a few changes over a week's time. She was patient and helpful through all of it. I also got to pick the cabinets I wanted and the countertop. She went with me to the back to mark which slabs of granite I specifically wanted since the colors are a bit different in all of them. They had our cabinets ready to go in less than a week. Our contractor picked everything up from them and installed our new kitchen in two days. The only thing that would've made it all even better is if they had more options for cabinet colors. I was looking for white and they only had off-white. But I still like how it looked, so we went with it. read more

I purchased cabinets from here over a year ago. If you're expecting friendly service as soon as you step in the door, then you may want to lower those expectations. For us it didn't matter much since we came in here with our contractor who recommended this place and he was the one dealing with the Kingway employees, not us. We had two bathrooms remodeled. We purchased cabinets for our master bath from another place in town which I will not mention because our experience was just so horrible I am still trying to erase my memories from the experience. We bought KraftMaid cabinets there which were much more expensive. For our smaller bathroom, which gets probably five times more use than the master bath, we purchased cabinets from Kingway. Both KraftMaid and Kingway cabinets were stained the same color that you can't even notice the difference. However, Kingway's were detailed with grooves more to my liking and on top of that were just a fraction of the cost. After about a year and a half, both cabinets still look great. Again, keep in mind that the Kingway cabinets get much more use than the KraftMaid and are still looking good. We also bought granite countertops for the small bathroom from Kingway which are doing great as well. read more

They cut corners when they did come to do the job, and it also looks like they helped themselves to a bit of our tool pieces!! Their workers also speak -very- little English so it makes it hard to clarify on their questions when they are working in your house. If you choose to use this company get every little tiny detail in writing, I don't know if it's the language barrier or if they are scammers, but after they took our money things went shady. Stephanie worked with us and would email or return call promptly, she was so kind and very helpful. She took the time to listen to me and answer all my questions, and I had a lot of them. When Stephanie was not available others helped us and they also were very knowledgeable and kind. They are currently installing our cabinets and they are doing a great job! The protected all my floors and really cared about the quality of work, they did not cut corners. We have been very impressed with everyone we have worked with! Last year, we did a construction project and purchased cabinets and countertops from Kingway. Roughly $12,000 in materials and labor. A year later, the cabinets have proven to be subpar in quality, and the countertops have water spots all over them that will not come off. We contacted Kingway, and they assumed zero responsibility and told us sorry warranty is expired we can't help you. Customer service and quality should be a important factor when you make a high dollar purchase for your home. They get an F- in both areas. Buyer beware, shop elsewhere! read more

We purchased our kitchen granite countertops from them, they installed, however what was installed was not the quality of the stone that was sold to us and shown in their showroom! Our son has cracks crevices, lack of luster and water will stain it! Tried to deal with them and they are relentless! They even put on the invoice, after the fact, the original invoice that we have doesn't t have that stamp! they added a stamp that said " final sale no return and no exchanges" , however in the invoice they have a statement saying " return or exchanges within 30 day?" Absolutely horrible business. I will never do business with this establishment again. Buyer beware. They do not take returns on most items, if they do they charge a restocking fee of 25%. This is not posted in their store but is in the small print on the receipt they have you sign. So, basically, they sell to the public like a retail establishment, but they treat transactions like you are a wholesaler/contractor.
