I didn't feel ripped off nor did I feel talked down to (an issue I've run into elsewhere as a woman, unfortunately). It took just a few hours and I came back to pick it up and the cost was so much better than if I went anywhere else just to do one of those things. I will definitely be back. They declared the car a loss as the amount of repairs were more that the car was worth. So I called Viking Auto Electric and Air after reading others positive reviews. They were very helpful and listened as I explained the situation. They asked me to have the car brought to their facitily and they would perform a diagnostic on the car and determine which essential components needed repaired. I was pleasently surprised, but also upset with our insurance company and their repair company. The only main item that needed repaired were the clutch fan and front cooling fans. Not the radiator, AC compressor and several other expensive parts. They were able to install a replacement clutch fan quickly and get the car back to him right away. They also told us which other parts should be replaced and helped source used parts to keep my sons repair costs lower. I would highly recommend them as an honest shop that will also work with you to help keep your repair costs low and not spend money you do not need to.
