Walk around to the side of the building to enter*** This place was unique, decorated on every surface. Netting, shells, fishing floats all over the ceiling. Antiques all around, there was a trunk for a table in the area we sat at, then they opened a curtain to another room for overflow. We sat at a large table for our group that ventured over for the night. Great ambiance, I can't speak to the service because I didn't go up to the bar to order. We loved the live music and the experience we had with our friends that night.

It was a typical Irish pub feel and upstairs. they had a spirit tasting room which the little gal was very nice and polite. she knew her Irish whiskeys so we bought a bottle. we went back downstairs. The fish and chips was pretty good not the best I've ever had, but not the worst. my daughter's nachos would have been good, but the chips were very stale. There was a musician playing outside which made for a lovely visit. Nice patio out front too. We met a local Irish couple and so enjoyed good craic with them. 1 of our favorite pubs on our trip

First things first, no food here, just drinks. Second, live trad music at 6pm & 10pm when I went in early October. Seating is tight so get there early & grab a few beers and find yourself a spot. This was a fun pub and the beers and music were just what I wanted. I plan to come back the next time I'm in Galway.
