    Throwing that axe!

Such a fun experience. Went for a date night and only did an hour since it was our first time. Definitely harder than you think but such a good time! Highly recommend!!

Best time - axes friends and beer!!!

Great place!!! Simple and exactly what you want: good axes, prepared wood, game variety (first time I have seen a projected system to give different games!!!) expansive selection of beverages AND throw in a foosball and pool table - COME ON - so fun!!! To make the experience PERFECT - we were helped by the delightful and informative Heather. We will be back!!

We basically had the whole place to ourselves the first time we went. Not a huge variety of drinks, but enough to enjoy ourselves. They don't have food options but were totally fine with us walking to Jack in the box and bringing food inside. We all had a blast. The variety of games to choose from were so much fun! Will definitely be back!

From checking in, (we actually had one person back out at the last minute and they were able to process a refund right away), to getting us through the waiver process, to the safety training, to offering us tips to proper throwing, so we can optimize our time, Tomahawk is top notch! The music is fun and we all loved the various games offered, instead of the basic "bullseye"! Thank you Tomahawk for making my 55th birthday so much fun!!

Came here on a Sunday afternoon, was able to reserve a lane online the week prior. Website is easy to use and the online waiver makes things a breeze when you arrive. First time throwers get a quick lesson on how to throw and how to control the games. There is an easy to read scoring system above the throwing surface. The music is great and the beer prices are affordable to have a few without breaking the bank. So happy to see something like this in the high desert. A message to prospective business owners in the high desert: WE DONT NEED ANYMORE CAR WASHES OR SHOE STORES!!!! We need things to do! This venue is perfect for that. Thank you for actually being something FUN to the high desert area.

This place was so much fun! I am so happy they finally opened up an axe throwing place in Apple Valley. I came with my friend and it was a blast. They have a cute photo op section right when you walk in, I like that you can play a variety of games during your session. From connect four, tic tac toe, or zombies, there's so much to choose from. The employees were really nice. They have a bar and they say if you throw your first axe on bullseye then your drink is on the house. I can't wait to go back!

So fun! The staff were great, going over how to use the system, demonstrated a couple throws and left us to it. We had a blast. High tech axe throwing, different games outside the standard bullseye target. Beer, seltzers, soda and water for purchase. Highly recommend for a fun, different thing to do. It's nice to have something fun to do in the high desert. Support your local, small business and go throw some axes. We will definitely be back!

We had a blast for my daughter's 23rd birthday at @tomahawkaxethrowinghd last weekend. I won a giveaway! I was able to have a private event at this cool place, and I wasted no time setting it up. The staff was so nice and helpful. They instructed everyone on how to throw the axes, and even my son got a "private lesson" from a very sweet employee whose name I didn't catch, but please tag her. We were able to bring in our own food and non alcoholic beverages, which was so nice. They have a great selection of beers we purchased while playing. The jukebox was a big hit with everyone as well . We got to play our favorite songs. If you guys haven't tried this fun activity, it's a must! Fun for the whole family. If anyone has any questions, follow and dm Tomahawk Axe Throwing to set up your next event or date night! Danny and Cynthia are the best and will make you feel like family! I can't wait to go back!

Had a tough time but the amazing staff helped me start out, before I knew it I was hitting bullseye's.

I called The Dome, and Kurt went above and beyond to help me. Not only was he incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming over the phone, but he also allowed me to use one of their office spaces at no charge so I could continue working for the day. That level of generosity and customer service is rare these days. The space was clean, quiet, comfortable, and had everything I needed to be productive. If you're looking for a professional coworking space, meeting room, or office rental in the High Desert, I highly recommend The Dome. Kurt truly cares about helping people, and it shows in the way he runs his business. Thank you again, Kurt, for turning a stressful day into a great experience. You've definitely earned a loyal customer, and I'll be recommending The Dome to anyone looking for a professional workspace.

Curt was incredibly helpful and accommodating right from the start. Payment via credit card was seamless, and the process was super easy. Curt even texted us a map of the office building and clearly directed us on which rooms to use. The office itself has a nice aesthetic, very modern with a white and gray color scheme and sleek glass tables. The chairs were perfectly comfortable, though they did have some noticeable scratches and patches on them from use. I really appreciated the amenities in my room; there was a printer you could easily connect to via an app if you needed to print, and the thermostat was zone-controlled for that specific room, meaning I could set the temperature exactly to my liking. My only real critique and suggestion for improvement is to install actual locks on the office doors. While I was in the middle of my important meeting, someone barged right into the room, even though the light on top of the door was glowing red to indicate it was occupied. Obviously, this isn't the fault of the owners, but people are idiots and don't pay attention to indicator lights. It was highly disruptive, especially when the entire purpose of renting a private conference room was to ensure I could be in a meeting completely undisturbed. Aside from that one hiccup, Curt was wonderful and very pleasant to do business with. It's a fantastic, modern workspace option, and with a simple lock addition, it would be absolutely perfect!

What are you looking for in a hotel stay while traveling?…read more INTRO: I often ask myself this as I am selecting my bedroom of choice, usually while sitting in a parking lot surfing through Kayak, Priceline or Yelp. The most magnetic of hotels are the ones that are situated near my planned route (on and off interstates). One that provides a safe, well-lit environment to park my vehicle. One that is close to places required to resupply road snacks, fuel, ice for coolers, etc. perhaps in close approximation to a restaurant or a mall food court - having pizza or Chinese food delivery usually works as well. Having a nearby Cracker Barrel? Yeah... no brainer for me and mine. INSIDE THE LOBBY: I like professional, well-mannered, well-dressed, knowledgeable staff attending the front desk. A serious bonus - this location also had prepared food options and a bar in the lobby area, this is never anything less than a win for the hotel guest. I love when the hotel I select also has a small sundries shop... a guest can pick up a snack, a beverage, microwave popcorn or pizza and such. THE ROOM: For me to be content the room needs to be easy to navigate to, which means luggage carts are a must for me (I usually travel heavy). The room itself must promote comfort & cleanliness. Immaculately vacuumed floors to crisp sheets... From a thermostat that works to spotlessly clean windows, microwave, coffee pot, bathtub, countertops & drawers. A great touch was the lamp on the table with the adjustable head. I liked it because when my better-half was sleeping I could make it so that the light was not masquerading as a suntanning lamp shining on her face. As far as cleanliness goes... When I arrive in a hotel room, I want to be enticed to take the shower I have been waiting to take all day and not have it scare me away. Same can be said for the bed. I don't need chocolate mints on my pillow or hand towels folded into animals atop my bedspread nor do I need 10 pillows of various sizes, I have at least one of those excessive things at home. This isn't home, no matter how long I am staying. Which means that I don't need a view unless I am in a place like Hawaii or on a Greek island in the Aegean Sea, but still it is nice when you discover a view - even if it is just a few snow covered mountains, the next morning when you wake. CHECK OUT TIME: I assume, with each hotel stay that 11 AM is checkout time. Not 12 PM. A Late checkout of 1 PM? That is amazing. I have stayed in many hotels for many different reasons. This stay was to just get away from my home, with all the distractions and pack and repack and repack several backpacks and decide which I will be using when I hike the Pacific Crest Trail later this year. So, having a checkout time of 1 PM was utterly fantastic. Also being near Cracker Barrel and the road leading up to Big Bear was a major plus. A few hours after departing, I was practicing with snowshoes, and self arresting myself with my ice axe in the snow. CONCULSION: Your hotel help my weekend be successful from a backpacker's standpoint. Both me and my better-half thank you for meeting all the criteria I have mentioned in this review. PS: The gentleman assigned to tend to room 232 was also amazing... so professional. In fact, this entire property could be a training facility for so many hotels I have departed from harboring complete and utter disappointment. DO I RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL? Umm, I am reposting this as a Yelp review. As a ten year Yelp Elite, I take my reviews seriously. It is not just a place to whine about every last speed bump and never post the amazing encounters you have experienced. I DO recommend this hotel to fellow Yelp Elites and strangers alike. We chose the Hilton for our wedding because we trusted it would provide a great experience for us…read moreand our guests. Sadly, that was not what happened. Before the wedding, many of our guests had trouble booking their rooms. They were transferred to third-party reservation agents who did not know about our wedding room block or the discounted rate. Some guests were treated rudely, while others never received the rate they were promised, even after we contacted the hotel several times. Our own stay was just as disappointing. Some guests received breakfast vouchers while others did not. There were complaints about bad odors in rooms, a dirty pool area, and times when no staff was available at the front desk to help. The biggest disappointment was our room. We were told the hotel renovations would be finished before our wedding, but they were not. Our Junior Suite was dirty, had a strong odor, and was not acceptable for a wedding weekend. We were moved to another room, but it was not the suite we had reserved. Later, the air conditioning stopped working, and again, no one was available to help. We invested thousands of dollars into our wedding at this hotel, and our guests booked around 15 rooms. We expected professionalism, good communication, and better customer service. Instead, we were left disappointed. Even more frustrating, hotel management has stopped responding to us, so we had no choice but to contact the corporate office. We have photos and messages from our guests that document everything we experienced.
