This couldn't be finished in one go and we had to take it home for leftovers. We ended up getting an extra 3 servings. Hot tip: we had a lot of leftover meat, so we shoved it in a croissant and added a bit of garlic sauce and it was incredible!

I was fortunate enough to stop in and try their mixed grill, feta cheese pide, lava cake, knaffeh, kefta and chicken kabob platter all of which I highly recommend. Their bread for appetizers was fluffy and rich. Their baklava w/ ice cream was the best we've ever had. The knaffeh had the perfect amount of sweetness and was matched with their traditional Turkish tea. Their service was great. The gentlemen matched our interests with the menu and often checked in to make sure we were ok without being over bearing. The food was absolutely delicious and we were very happy we stopped in. The atmosphere was quiet as we noticed some people sit in but their takeout services are in high demand. Great location, fantastic food, truly a new hidden gem at just 8 mins from Rainbow bridge . The Mississauga location has been raved about for so long. I still have to visit but I am glad they are promoting together online and on IG which is how I found this one so close to home! Thank you!

There was a lot of food and meat options but it was definitely on the expensive side. My favourite was the bulgur, pita bread and chicken and beef doner. Everything was incredibly flavourful and I loved eating the naan on the side. It does get quite busy so if it is a holiday, wait times may be long. It is also strange because they charge water- you have to purchase their water bottles if you want any. I did ask for tap water and they said no. I think it was delicious but the price was not justified. We also got their dessert kadayif and milk cake to share which I found not too sweet. The restaurant is really beautiful, very thoroughly decorated, and spacious with bright lighting. There is a call bell on each table so that you can ask for your waiter when you need to. The washrooms are also quite clean.

The Lahmacun was the highlight: freshly made, perfectly crispy yet soft, and a great portion size. Easily the best I've had. The platter was also fantastic as the meat was tender, the chicken was juicy, and everything was seasoned perfectly. The only miss was the Fattoush, which was a bit chunky and "meh," but the quality of the mains more than made up for it. Highly recommend for the grills and lahmacun!

The food was pretty good & not the usual mezes & kebabs but baked & stewed dishes too. Most of the kebabs had a nice charcoal taste. The main dishes were all labelled but not the items at the side. So the sour cream I added to my iskender turned out to be mayo.

Menu has a wide selection of dishes to choose from, including the authentic Turkish dishes. We ordered their mezze plate to try their different dips and I especially loved the caçik and ezme, though their hummus and baba ghanoush was also very good. The bread was made fresh. I also ordered my favourite appetizer, sigara boregi, which was really good. The lentil soup was thick and well made. The mix grill platter for 2 was huge and generous in portion, and I felt like more than 2 people can eat from it especially if you are ordering more items. The meat was well flavored, and the platter came with shish taouk, doner and more. The fries were crispy and well seasoned too. It was interesting to see that they had a chicken Ali nazik which I decided to try. For dessert, we got the trio which included cheesecake, kunafa and trilece. The trilece was my favourite.

Even amid a busy dinner rush, they were quick to greet us and seat our family without difficulty. That level of hospitality goes a long way, especially when you're traveling with hungry kids! I chose the Mixed Beef and Chicken Doner, and it hit all the right notes. The beef was wonderfully seasoned, with a subtle sear that provided depth to each bite, and the chicken was moist and soft. It was a big, satisfying supper served with fluffy rice, fresh salad, and warm bread that reminded me of meals I had in other countries. My wife and kids ordered the Chicken Adana Kebab, and they were equally impressed. The skewers were grilled to perfection, with just the proper amount of heat, and the serving sizes were large. Our server ensured that the spice level was appropriate for children while maintaining the flavor. We couldn't resist eating the Tres Leches dessert, and it was the ideal way to cap the lunch. It was moist, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet, making it one of the greatest we'd ever eaten, Turkish restaurant or not. Mama Fatma Turkish Cuisine has earned a spot on our go-to list for family dinners thanks to its outstanding service, delectable cuisine, and clean, pleasant ambiance. Highly recommended for those looking for genuine Turkish cuisine with a touch of warm friendliness!

It's like a sampler plate that includes a variety of their signature dishes, allowing you to sample a little bit of everything. Personally, I found the portion to be generous enough for 3-4 people, unless you have very good appetites or are prepared to take home leftovers. Their kebabs are bursting with flavor. They grill them with lamb oil or lamb fat to enhance the taste. The beef doner and chicken were tender, juicy, and well-marinated, while the lamb chops were perfectly cooked. The mini pides looked cute. As for drinks, I tried the Doğanay Şalgam. This salty turnip juice has a unique flavor profile; it was quite an interesting experience for me as I had never tried salty juices before. In fact, it's the kind of taste you might find yourself becoming obsessed with. Although the restaurant is located in an ordinary plaza, the interior is spacious and decorated in authentic Turkish style. The staff were friendly and patient, adding to the overall enjoyable dining experience. If you are seeking an authentic taste of Turkey I'd recommend this restaurant. I tried a variety of the meats and they were cooked to perfection--tender, flavorful, and well balanced with just the right spices and sauces. Nothing was dry, which made every bite enjoyable. They also offer traditional desserts like Om Ali, knefe, and rice pudding. If you want a more relaxed café vibe afterward, there's a café in the same parking lot run by the same owners with very comfortable seating and even a prayer room. A few dishes were recommended, but I was told the Koshari is beloved in Egypt, so that's what I ordered. Be prepared for a bit of a carb coma, but it's absolutely worth it. It was delicious. The mix of pasta, rice, lentils, chickpeas, and crispy fried onions worked surprisingly well together, especially with the sauces they give you. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Toronto.
