Vietnamese Iced coffee. This is very good.

I really like this place. The food has good flavor while not being like "every other place". Staff is friendly but not always in your face. Great balance. I was surprised at the portions of a couple of the dishes. More than expected. We could not finish our plates so we brought it home. It was great the next day too. I didn't get pictures of the orders. Sorry I'm bad about that. I tried each persons order and the only one I didn't like was my wife's Pho. Nothing against the preparation it just wasn't to my personal taste. The preparation was top notch and had good flavor balance. This wonderful place is nestled on Central Ave in Nebraska City NE. We are here often as I have family here and I guarantee we will be back and with cash for a tip. FYI if you pay by card you cannot add a tip. And next time I'll post pictures of the orders.

Oh where to start. I had the pleasure of dining at this pho restaurant in Nebraska City, Nebraska. I had the pad Thai seafood noodles. Delicious and fresh. Tommy is so cordial and enjoys making sure his customers are satisfied. There is a 15% off couple on their Facebook page. It's worth the drive. Happy eating.

A new place to Nebraska City, bringing big flavors and big portions. If you are looking for something different, then try Tommy Angels Vietnamese. The restaurant is clean, ample space to sit, and very welcoming. The owner himself greeted us and made some recommendations. When I said I like a little spice he offered to put his house made spices on the side to add as I needed. This spice was delicious and added such another level to already great food. My daughter had Pho, and if I am ever under the weather, I will be getting some of this broth to go. Get out of your comfort zone and give this new place a try! You won't b disappointed!

Seriously, the best place to eat in Nebraska city! The atmosphere was great, server/owner was so accommodating and made sure we knew what we were ordering. I can't wait to go back again! So sooo good!!!

We were in the area so decided to stop back in for lunch…read more It's a cute little restaurant in a small shopping area. The parking lot is huge and located in a nice part of town. We walked in and were greeted by the waitress who sat us right away next to the window. She popped back by and asked for our drink order. I had the passion fruit drink which was nice. We ordered our food, we started with the calimari starter and I had the seafood fried rice noodle dish. In short time food was ready. Rhe calamari was amazing. Great salt and pepper breading and nicely fried. It was delicious. The seafood dish was equally nice. It looked very impressive. And everything was so fresh not overcooked. I was very very happy.

Quick service and good food. I had initially wanted viet coffee but the coffee is premixed with a certain amount of sugar and they couldnt half it. So went with cold jasmine tea instead. Then we had fried calamari as appetisers and a grilled shrimp with grilled pork and vermicelli with sweet fish sauce. Wondeful meal - calamari is delicious typical asian style salt and pepper Vermicelli is still warm. Grilled shrimp and pork very nicely done. Grilled woth flavour yet not dry. Will come back again

I was pleased to see that they have a large menu offering several kinds of pho with a variety of meat options as well as sandwiches and Chinese food-style dishes. I ended up getting their house banh mi sandwich while a friend of mine ordered the chicken pho. Both dishes were gone quickly. I highly recommend if you have an itch for pho to check this place out!

Heads up, soft drinks come in a can so no free refills here, but water is available, thankfully. I treated myself to a strawberry lemonade with popping dragon fruit boba, and let me tell you, it was fantastic. Definitely getting that again. We started with crab rangoon. Service was a bit slow, even though it was not too busy, but the rangoons were worth every second. For the main event, we each grabbed a large bowl of pho. One special, one steak-only (mine), and one chicken. I love that all the sauces, utensils, and extras are right on the table. The broth is what makes pho, and theirs did not disappoint. The noodles took a little work, but everything came together perfectly. And the plate of sprouts, cilantro, lime, and jalapeño lets you doctor your soup just the way you like it. Lunch came to about $37 after tip (I covered the rangoons), which is a little steep, but considering I got a craft lemonade, a pop, a large soup, and plenty of leftovers, I think it was worth it. Honestly, the quality and quantity more than justify the price. I'm even starting to welcome colder weather just so I can enjoy this soup more often! I will absolutely be back.

Probably waited 5 mins max so I was very impressed. I noticed the lights have the Vietnamese hat on it. Very creative. Menu had a lot of great options but I decided to try the bun dac biet (vermicelli noodle bowl). Let me tell you they did not disappoint!! Portion size of meat, noodles, and veggies were great. They prepared everything in a timely manner too. The servers were very attentive and kind. Also, when at a Vietnamese restaurant ca phe sua da (Vietnamese iced coffee) is always a must. I liked how they prepared everything for me in a to-go cup since I'm a slow sipper. Overall, really enjoyed my experience here. Will definitely be coming back to try their pho next.

I had the egg noodle and my wife had the glass noodle We both first noticed the broth seemed plain, not as enjoyable as in the past. It lacked the depth of flavor. The second thing we both noticed was that all of the proteins had been cut in half. Literally as in the shrimp had been sliced into 2 pieces. The balls all cut in thirds. But still charging same price. This was a bit upsetting The restaurant still nice and clean. We'll maintained. The staff was so so. Normally everything is spot on. I'm a little sad not leave a glowing review. But I call it like I see it

Generous amount of tofu ans very tasty. Vegan vegetarian Hot Pot (Lau Chay)[Item HP3] Vegetarian fish balls, vegetarian fried fish patties, white tofu, mushrooms, and baby corn, in a vegetarian based broth. Ours didn't have any "Vegetarian fish balls" or "fish patties" but had fried tofu and boiled tofu instead. Maybe the Vegetarian fish balls and fish patties were Vegetarian but not vegan. It was tasty despite that and I enjoyed it very much. It comes with a plate of noodles to mix in as you eat the soup. Despite not being quite what I expected, it was so tasty I'd order it again. They have mastered a fishless, Vegan, "fish" flavored broth which is unique.

The pho was decent, but pretty average and nothing special. The main thing we'd suggest improving is the temperature, as it came out warm instead of hot. Overall, the service stood out more than the pho itself. We were also disappointed to see photos online of the owner's Ferrari blocking the handicap spot/walkway, which lowered our rating of the restaurant.
