He pulled her two front teeth so aggressively to one side to try to get her cuspid (canine tooth) to erupt. After over THREE years, we finally said ENOUGH! My daughter now goes to UCLA ortho. She had to get the braces removed and completely start from scratch again. Previous to being accepted as a patient at UCLA, she was turned away by some of the most prestigious orthos in the Bay Area and Los Angeles area. All saying that it was too much of a liability to try to "fix" what Gallagher had done. Due to Gallagher using my daughter's two front teeth to try to pull the cuspid down, they are now almost completely pulled from their roots and will need to be replaced with fake teeth. Guess who is footing the bill for all of this? Yup, yours truly! In addition to ruining her two front teeth, he also misaligned her jaw. Repairing her teeth and face is going to be a VERY long road. While Gallagher might be a nice guy (and he really is! I could chat with him for days & days) - Please go elsewhere for ortho.

All they do is cancel and reschedule appointments last minute, as though people don't have schedules. They also make 2 appointments out of what should be one appointment (x rays and exam/come in 2 different times) instead of one appointment. They don't care about the patients time. The staff work inconsistently and are always changing. They don't return calls for days and and hard to get a hold of. Then, when you finally get work done (cavities, etc.) it costs a fortune. I have had more troubles with this company and 3 of my family members go there. I am finally going to pay private just to not have to go here anymore.

My little sister was scheduled for a cleaning at 3:30PM and they told us that she cannot get a cleaning that day because she had to get an x-ray and testing done. My sister was not taken back to get the testing and x-ray done until past 4:40, an hour after her appointment. On a previous appointment we had there, we walked in to a whole line of patients waiting to be checked in. Not only did the staff ignore the line, but they also seemed to not even prioritize the patients already at the location since every one of the staff was doing something else. Again, another proof of them not respecting patients and their time. I highly recommend you avoid Western Dental & Orthodontics. If you want to be respected and want a professional office, this is NOT the place to go to. Even if they are claiming that they will "internally" try to fix this issue, I do not see any progress with that. Honestly, I DO NOT think it will ever be resolved.
