This place is honestly the worst. We had them for several years because of our insurance and lack of choices. All they do is cancel and reschedule appointments last minute, as though people don't have schedules. They also make 2 appointments out of what should be one appointment (x rays and exam/come in 2 different times) instead of one appointment. They don't care about the patients time. The staff work inconsistently and are always changing. They don't return calls for days and and hard to get a hold of. Then, when you finally get work done (cavities, etc.) it costs a fortune. I have had more troubles with this company and 3 of my family members go there. I am finally going to pay private just to not have to go here anymore. read more

They do it all in a hurry, don't take time for their patients, but when it comes to money... they ask for it right there and then.. my daughter had to be there twice for the same reason, her filling come off, 3 times. Took her there twice have it fixed, the 3rd time they said it was a cavity, wish it was the same tooth same place, they had fixed twice. 3rd time I gave up. took her to a different dentist. this office mutilated my mouth- didn't want to own that it was out of her scope of expertise. After all of her work had to be completely REDONE, they faught me with the refund. Even after she said she covers her work, if anything needs to be replaced. They threatened not to give me any refund unless I signed a paper. My first time here and my experience was the best! From the beginning of the visit the staff member in the front was very attentive and answered all of my questions. They got me in within minutes of turning in my paperwork. The hygienist Liz was very knowledgeable and explained everything she was doing. She was constantly checking to see if I was in pain. only go here if you like PAIN. They told me I would be sedated for my 6 tooth extraction, came in for the operation and they said I would be given a pill to help[ relax me. It did not do anything. they pulled ALL of my lower teeth and gave me some Motrin! the pain was unbearable and I called to see if they could get something stronger and Jasmine told me that my name was on a list of people who were blacklisted and could not be prescribed pain meds What bull, the pharmacy had no idea what she was lying about. these people are devious, and don'O care about the patients they rob. read more

Omg what an amazing staff, i came in today to get an examen for my invisaline. I had went to a different dental office and the Doctor told me that I need it for teeth to be pulled. I decided to come to ACCU Dental for a second opinion, Doctor Kumar and Gabby explained me how invisaline works; Im really happy to hear that i dont need any extraction and I got so happy when Gabby told me that they were going to give me a free whitening. This place is irresponsible. They performed a filling for me back in 21 they told me it was a large cavity so I might continue to feel pain in the tooth for some time. Fast forward to yesterday. I'm sitting at my desk and my filling pops out! I called them and explained the situation even remembering they had some faulty UV guns at the time of the operation. The supposed manager did not want to accept responsibility for the poor work performed and wanted to charge me for the same job twice! I instead called Koi Lee who has done all my other dental work. He charged less than the con men at Accu dental and did a better job than these "professionals" did the first time. And guess what the day after no pain in the tooth that has been bothering me for three years now. These people should be sued for medical malpractice. When they did the original filling they did not even numb me fully. Terrible, just terrible. read more

The lengths that this office will go to maximize its profit are criminal. It was charged nearly twice the amount allowed for new crowns. Cigna PPO insurance seems to want to help the dental office rather than the premium-paying client. So I was unable to recover any money for being overcharged. The amount allowed for a crown was $615. That was only one example of the ways the dentist overcharged me. They charged me for a cleaning and collected the same amount from the insurance company. I thought this was illegal. I filed a complaint with the California State Insurance Board. I truly hope people read these posts before going to this dentist. They have complaints like this in many of their 6 offices. read more

Terrible work of the office the day before the appointment, call me and change all the information to change, why did you sit in silence for a month? The worst experience I've ever had with a dentist! In fact all my other experiences were ok. Went in to have two teeth extracted. Was given the numbing shots, that was ok, though the dentist was gone for what seemed to me a little longer than 5 minutes before she began. She removed the first tooth ok, seemed simple. The second tooth seemed very difficult. She kept losing grip of the tool used to grab it, then she'd grab another tool, over and over again and kept trying but kept losing the grip. During that time the tool she was using to keep that side of my mouth open, she kept digging it into my gums, had to keep reminding her to take it easy. Lost count of the attempts., always with the new tool slipping. She had given me several shots but she was never able to numb that nerve! Then she tried to drill, again the nerve was not numb! I don't understand how she was unable to numb it when a previous dentist had worked with those teeth years ago and was able to numb it. Always dentists in the past would check with me if all was numb before they would do anything, she didn't. After the third attempt to drill, again didn't check if numb first, it hurt very sharply. I just sat up and just couldn't take it anymore! I have never ever experienced any dental procedure so rough. I also found it very unsettling that the dental assistant would leave the room during the procedure at times, At one time my mouth was full of blood, and the dental assistant was not there to vacuum it out, neither was the dentist!! I had to spit it out on the little bit of tissue I had in my hand, getting it all over my hand, face and that little bib they put on you. What really came to mind was that if she was unable to extract the tooth she should have stopped the first time when she saw my discomfort from her failed attempts and her inability to numb that area. To me that whole experience was traumatic. I also found it odd that she kept trying to justify my pain being caused by anxiety! Pain is pain, I had no anxiety when I got there, but most certainly did after all that bungled procedure. The whole thing was the worst I have ever experienced. Never ever will I ever go to that office. So I've been left with a partial tooth not extracted, the nerve exposed and have to wait for another office to help me. I've haven't been able to eat well for two weeks because of the sensitivity of my mouth until it is extracted properly and the area stitched! My general impression of the dentist and assistant is they lack concern for the comfort of the patient, let alone professionalism. Any medical professional should treat a patient with respect and be mindful to not cause undue pain to a patient who has entrusted them for their care. read more

This is the worst place to go don't waste your time!!!! I had my son go to this place as they took his insurance and first appointment they gave him the run around that he wasn't insured. When the ignorant clerical desk person got his date of birth incorrect. How was that his issue and instead of checking she basically told him to leave and reschedule. Once she noticed she was incorrect she called him for another appointment. He went back to his appointment for them to only take X-rays of his teeth and tell him he needs Periodontal cleaning in which his new insurance does not cover!!! How? If my son had dual dental coverage before he switched to this insurance and went to dentist regularly and was never given this cleaning or recommended this cleaning! I was outraged and so disappointed in the unprofessionalism of this dental office. This is the reason I rather use a private dental group opposed to a public one! Honestly, if I could give more stars I would!!! These guys know how to work some magic. I came in to get impressions taken for a partial denture. I had previously visited another office in town where I was left waiting 4 months without ever getting the impressions taken. At Accu dental I had impressions taken the same day of the consult and payment options discussed, paid half my bill, and within 2 weeks we had a wax model trial and the final product! I had the worst experience of my life here at Accu dental. The Dr. (Not sure if I'm allowed to say who?) did not know what she was doing & I've never suffered as much as I did going to her. Literally messed up 2 completely healthy teeth that she was supposed to do a bridge on. She first said she would shave them & then 4 weeks after add the bridge. Never happened because 4+ months went by, she kept prolonging treatment and I needed root canals by then. She cemented crowns incorrectly and not to mention me having to go through 2 implant removals all within a span of 2 years due to her negligence. Do you know what an implant removal feels like? I wouldn't wish that on anybody. All could have been prevented by me not trusting in her and finding a truly genuine doctor who knows what they are doing. I was depressed for such a long time due to all of this & now I'm left with the trauma of having any dental work done. Also emailed corporate and was not able to get any type of refund. I spent close to 7k to mess up my teeth when all I wanted was an implant on my missing tooth. I try not to let what I went through bother me but I felt the need to leave this review to warn others I wouldn't wish what I went through on anybody. If anyone recommends any experienced legit great implant specialists feel free to send me a message as I do wish to fix my teeth eventually I've just been terrified after what I experienced. read more

We chose this office in December of 2019 based on insurance coverage. My husband was in pain and needed a root canal. Unfortunately, he was in a lot of pain and has a fear of the dentist and needles. We did not return to this office due to lack of care regarding patients and lack of professionalism. We found a dentist that took into consideration my husbands mental health needs to take care of his 5 other root canals that we could not use our dental insurance at his office, but was worth every penny we had to pay out of pocket. Two years later, the root canal done at this office has failed and have to be referred to a specialist to fix it as it was not done properly in the first place. I would not recommend this office for important procedures even when insurance covers it ... go else where to get it done right. read more

Please get a second opinion!! They explained everything that you don't need. Since we are not dentists, they can say you have bone loss, this and that and show you pictures and you will believe. I went to another dentist and they said no need for deep cleaning and the fillings that was diagnosed is all questionable. Invisalign that don't need your teeth pulled? If you are happy with straight flared teeth, then go for it. People pull teeth for braces to help not have flared teeth and get the best smiles. Rip off place!! read more

Before Yelp puts this at the bottom of their list - my husband and I normally review everything under his account, but Yelp denied this review under his login because it was my experience. So I started my own account. Our insurance changed so we tried this dentist out based on his Yelp reviews. My appointment was first. Young lady at the front was terrific, she was answering the phones and doing all the x-rays. There was no hygienist - the dentist, Dr. Tuan Nguyen, said he was better than a hygienist. He refused to do a routine cleaning, and then began drilling at my teeth to "clean them up." I rarely complain about anything, but I walked out without letting him touch me any further. This was the single worst experience of my life. My daughter and husband cancelled their appointments. There was another patient waiting while I was there that had to have a filling repaired, that this dentist placed, within the past week. Update - I also complained to my insurance company about this dentist. He wasn't even on their list of dentists at this location. Two other dentists were - and they are no longer there. read more
