Tommy's Locksmith...I locked myself out of a rental unit while rehabbing it. In the 6 months I've been rehabbing it I have never, ever locked myself out. But on this particular day, I was scheduled to take back tools that were rented and needed to get them back by 5:30pm that day, it was 4pm! I called one other locksmith and they couldn't give me a absolute price, but an estimate of a "In between number" and on top of that they were going to take anywhere from 45 mins to two hours. We could not be more pleased about our experience with Tommy's, and I will enthusiastically recommend him to anyone within earshot who ever needs the services of a locksmith. We've lived in a century-old house for 25 years and have lately been plagued by locks that we couldn't open any more and keys that stuck in locks that we could open. We called Tommy, texted him photos of our locks, and he promptly sent us an estimate. He sent Juan Baylon out to us the same day we called, and he managed to disassemble one of the locks, cut a new key for it, and make it work on all seven locks on four doors, and get the entire job done in for a little more than half of the original estimate!! Juan also ground down a strike plate which enabled us to use a dead bolt our shifting house had rendered unusable, and vacuumed up the filings. Juan was personable, professional, knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. He did his best to make the house on a single key but explained the complex (and costly) retrofitting it would take and came up with an alternate solution for the old lockset.
