Tusal Tomo Combo beautifully packaged with a bag of ice on top when delivered.

Tomo has been a staple in Upper Darby so I expect consistency when I order here. My sushi was packaged nicely and tasted fresh. The Shumai was brown as if it had been fried. It was not tasty at all. The seaweed wrap on the salmon rolls didn't meet end to end so the salmon and rice were trying to escape. Do better!

Plain salmon and tuna rolls. Awesome!

I gotta admit, it was surprising to find genuinely good sushi in the H Mart food court. At any sushi place, I always order the most basic of things to figure out how good a job they're doing. Anyone can drown the flavor of day-old fish and poorly made rice in avocado, mayonnaise, and hot pepper. These guys got it pretty much right. Rice was good quality, cooked well, and blended with just the right amount of rice vinegar. Sweetness was spot on. Fish was fresh and good. Only thing I could possibly complain about was that their soy sauce is Kikkoman or something similar. Best of all, overhead is low so prices are great. My wife loves the one Korean place in the food court so now I have a go-to when I don't want Korean.

We came here on Wednesday during the Buy 2 Get 1 free special. It's roughly $21 total for 3 special rolls. We ordered 6 rolls, with 4 being varying tempura shrimp combinations. They were all fantastical crunchy. They have a huge menu that's delightfully overwhelming. My personal favorite is the Mango Tempura shrimp. My dinning partner and I both enjoyed the Red Scorpion with the three tempura shrimps on top. Each one of our ingredients were fresh and delicious. The service was very courteous and fast. They make perfect rolls in record time! We will be visiting here many more times to try their dinner boxes and udon. It's a hidden gem upstairs Hmart!

Great sushi for a great price. Salmon was so buttery and very nicely presented. It was perfect for our party

The Yelp reviews did not stir me wrong. The food was amazing. This is definitely my new go to spot for sushi moving forward.

The chirashi bowl I ordered was so good! The fish was fresh (they gave a good variety of fish) and the sushi rice was the perfect balance of vinegar to rice ratio. The sweetness of it was just perfect as well - very subtle. The chirashi bowl is definitely my fave from their menu items!

My mom loves this place! She says the fish is fresh and she likes the options. Her favorite is the Play Girl (cucumber, avocado, spicy salmon with more spicy salmon) Mine is the Eel Dragon (cucumber eel, eel, avocado crunch, sauce, scallion, masago) The people working there are very friendly and you get your order pretty quickly. The only thing I would say is that they have a lot of repeating tempura options and a lot of them seem to be the same. I am not really a tempura for sushi fan so I would like to see more raw options and this would get a 5 star from me. It is on my top 3 favorite sushi places though!

From left to right - Bad girl, tears, Philly, lady night out

The BEST sushi place in delco. Seriously no where else compares & I've pretty much tried them all. My absolute favorite rolls are Philly, lady night out, spider & bad girl

This place is a little gem in Hmart second floor. Worth the $$$. Big portions too. My new favorite sushi place.

Take my review with a grain of salt because I have never been to another hmart before this!…read more I love it here, and they have everything I need for Asian cuisine and then some. My boyfriend is Ecuadorian and they have a pretty loaded Hispanic aisle ironically enough and Tango cookies which are extremely hard to get in the United States, so this is a bonus (no having to wait for abulita to smuggle them back for him, yay!) Prices are average, if anything slightly above average... but I expect this for a specialty store with imported goods. Great location as I'm able to just take the SEPTA to here, works out nice if I wanna make a lil day trip out of it and eat at the food court too. :) Again, I have no other hmarts to compare it to, but it is a tad dirty and run down as far as grocery stores/food markets go. Whole building does smell like fish... but they also *do* have an open fish market thing indoors. Tight aisles. I'm fairly petite and others can squeeze by me, but exactly that: they have to SQUEEZE by me. Nobody with an average height/build could stand comfortably in an aisle with a cart and others get through. Place also isn't huge, but boy, is it packed. As mentioned, it has basically everything you'd need, especially for imported goods. As some other reviews have said, they make you unbag all your stuff and put it back... which is odd, because I'm totally fine with showing my receipt (á la Walmart or any wholesale club like BJs, Sam's Club etc) but it is next level here. High theft area, I presume. Security at front door and I've never had issue bringing my reusable bag in, but I expect to be searched on the way out. Staff is pleasant enough. I don't think in the 10 or so times I've gone to check out they've said hi to me... but I'm also used to shopping at Eastern European markets/have family from that region and they don't do that either so it doesn't bother me lol.

The top floor of this H Mart is actually pretty nice -- there's a cafeteria, a Paris Baguette, and…read moresome small shops for cosmetics and home goods. It's a good spot to grab a bite or browse around casually. However, the actual H Mart experience leaves a lot to be desired. Right at the entrance, you're required to check all your bags -- even reusable shopping bags -- which feels unnecessarily aggressive. The staff at bag check treated me more like a potential thief than a customer. I had a larger wallet (the long kind, not sure what it's called), and even that was questioned. I had to argue just to take it in with me, since clearly you can't steal anything in a wallet. Once inside, the store layout is standard. The produce section near the entrance looked fresh and well-stocked. Seafood was also plentiful and appeared very fresh. The meat section had a solid selection, especially marinated cuts ready for Korean BBQ -- definitely a plus. That said, the snack section was smaller than I expected, especially compared to the ones in Chinatown. I was surprised at the limited variety. The prepared food section (like pre-made kimchi and sides) was practically empty when I went around noon -- not sure if it was bad timing or just poor restocking. Check-out was fast, but the line system was confusing. The worst part? After paying, you have to exit the store, walk back around to the bag check, and then -- get this -- squat on the floor to repack your groceries. No tables or counters provided. It felt disorganized and a bit humiliating. Overall: decent grocery selection, but the experience is soured by unfriendly policies and poor customer service flow. I'd come again for specific items, but I won't be rushing back.
