They ended up sending Mario from Stoneham Towing out to look at it. I could not be happier with his service, WAY above and beyond the call of duty. He not only fixed the stupid trailer, but he helped my wife and I secure it to the truck and get our car properly stowed on it. U Haul makes that process sound easy, but it took easily an hour and a half, and Mario was exceedingly polite, friendly, and knowledgeable throughout. Did I mention he didn't need to do any of this? He was there to fix the trailer and go, but he stayed with us and took incredibly good care of us. Didn't charge us a cent (he does get paid by U Haul for coming out, but he billed it in such a way that there was no cost to us). We were on our way to Michigan and he called later to see how our trip was going. Just amazingly kind, with great service. If I'm ever in Massachusetts again and need some help, I won't hesitate to call him.

AAA said the driver was told what I needed, A cable on my rear axle, pull forward 6 feet while I was supporting in reverse on my car. The guy gave me an attitude, said AAA doesn't pay us any money at all and this service is a recovery not a tow, not covered by AAA. AAA said he should have pulled me out! He made some lame excuse about some sporadic ice on the road and tried to shake me down for $200. I think the owner was complicit because he spoke with him on the phone for 12 minutes, the driver never did tell me what was discussed. I was pissed. Luckily the owner showed up from the car in front of me. I actually had to push him out because he was stuck, then I drove out. Sick of these blue collar jackasses trying to shake people down during snow issues!! Honestly I would have a hard time sleeping at night if i did these to people knowing how tight money is to all

To my surprise, Mike said he had the same Platinum AGM battery with 3 year warranty in his truck! Seems weird to write a review about a business when I only came into contact with them…read moreinvoluntarily because of my expired registration (my fault, obviously, not theirs), but the guy who was able to tow my car to my driveway was very kind, drove safely, took thorough pics or video (I couldn't tell which) of my car's condition prior to putting it on the truck. I also appreciated the clean cab and good A/C on a hot day, and it's nice that they have modern technology for taking payment so I got the receipt texted to me immediately. If I ever need a tow that is not mandated by the police, I would call them! I'm not sure the name of the guy who I dealt with, but thank you for being so nice to me!
